Valheim looks like it was made for the 3DS or PS1, absolutely atrocious soft and pixelated graphics, they should be ashamed to show this off in the year 2026.

The rest of the direct was forgettable at best.

The biggest problem with this game is it’s just kind of boring. I’m 25 hours in and I think I’m going to quit. It never really gets any better.

And I know everyone disagrees, but I think the music in this game sucks. If this was a movie soundtrack people would walk out of the theater. Generic and uninspired at best, irritating at worst. First Metroid game where the music was not up to snuff.

This is going to be what finally gets me to upgrade my online membership to the expansion pack.

AI is now embedded in Photoshop, so if it was edited there, AI was likely part of the process.

Are we expected to believe the Switch 2 versions of Space Invaders are somehow better than the Switch 1 versions? Or are they just charging us more and ripping people off?

The music in Prime 4 is weak, uninspiring, and annoying at times, it’s the first Metroid game I’ve played where I felt compelled to turn it down. I usually turn the music up for this series because it’s so good, but not with this one. The gameplay is kind of boring too, almost feels like I’m doing work rather than enjoying a game.

I’m currently playing Prime 4 and Dread simultaneously, and I can say without a doubt that Dread is by far the superior Metroid experience.

@Gaviin The music in Prime 1 is better than Prime 4, it’s more iconic, but it’s similar. Some of the music in 4 is good, but overall it just feels kind of underwhelming and generic. First time I’ve ever turned the music down in a Metroid game.

And the reason the soundtrack to Dread is so good is because it’s based heavily on Super Metroid remixes, which is arguably the best music and atmosphere of any Metroid game.

I wish the music was better. Some of it actually gets pretty annoying, with bad rock guitar rifts on repeat. I had to turn it off completely for the towers level. The music in Dread and many previous Metroid games is much better. I would prefer something more dark and electronic, instead of the weak cinematic movie score it currently has.

Let me know when it's fully patched and working smoothly on the Switch and it's on sale again, and then maybe I'll buy it.

Super Metroid is the best Metroid game of all time, and one of the best games ever made. The atmosphere is amazing.

I like this game better than the new Mario game. It's easily one of the best Sonic games ever made. Everything about it is really good.

This game has too much dialogue in general. The ongoing cutesy conversations that occur between every level are annoying. Reminds me of Animal Crossing's nonstop drivel.

I hope they add save states. The 3DS version required brutally long play sessions to reach a new check point.

What the hell are Kameo Fighters? Are these characters playable or not? Jax had better be in this game, and not as just some cameo appearance. And those DLC characters suck, easily the worst selection in the series so far.

Why do the graphics suck so bad?

This game sucked because of the control scheme.

They had better allow our existing libraries of digital games to carry over, otherwise I'm out. In this day and age there is no excuse not to.

This is the best SOR game of all time, even (amazingly) toppling SOR 2 as the GOAT.

They deserve every penny.

The joycons are stupid anyways. They sacrifice the playability of the entire system for those rare opportunities where 2 people are actually going play with a single joycon set. Who actually does that? What sane person wouldn’t just buy a 2nd controller? I’m sure there’s a few kids out there who’s parents won’t buy them a 2nd controller and they’re forced to split the JoyCons, but that number has to be incredibly low and the rest of us suffer for it. Joycons suck.

Whoever bought that is a moron. Whoever sold it is a genius.

This upgrade is weak. The system needs more horsepower.

Not seeing the original title screen and music in Zombies is a major let down. That was one of the best parts of the game, the attract mode was pure spooky joy. This game is awesome, bu that is a significant omission.

Shantae is the best part of this announcement and the music track is a fantastic bonus. Wish she was a main character, but at least she's playable and not some lame spirit or whatever.

Bug Princess 1 & 2 are some of the very best Cave shooters. Stoked for this one.

If their next console doesn’t have folders I’m not buying it.

You gotta play Super Metroid with the lights off and the music loud. Preferably alone. The atmosphere is sublime.

You can’t beat Super Metroid, that is one of the greatest games of all time. Definitely looking forward to Dread though.

There’s already so much shovel wear on the eshop that I never bother browsing for games anyone. I’ll go there if I know a specific game is available, but never for browsing, it’s too much of a pain in the ass to bother with.

Apple Arcade just means for shovel wear. No thanks.

If Nintendo doesn’t give us folders soon I’m going to sell my Switch, that’s how I’m annoyed I am by.
