The eshop is terrible, but please NO stupid menu music. The music on Wii U was horrible, and I always raced to turn it down everytime it started. If I wanted to listen to music I'd put on some music that's actually good, not some crappy background menu nonsense.

Slain was pure awesome, just too hard is all. I'll give Valfaris a try for sure.

We need Robotron 2084, but this looks good for now. I’ll give it a buy.

At Games sucks so bad. That company needs to go out of business. They’ve been producing nothing but total garbage for decades.

The demo felt like a crappy mobile game.

All multiplayer games should have online multiplayer as an option, especially racing games. Needs to be available at launch too. No online multiplayer = no buy.

This company lost me forever with that terrible WWE wrestling game they released for the Switch. They will need to pay me if they expect me to play their games again.

I just can't get into this game. The lack of mystery mushrooms killed it for me, and the Switch is nowhere near as easy to use for this game as the Wii U gamepad was. I put over 450 hours into SMM1, but only a few hours so far with SMM2. It's boring without mystery mushrooms.

The Joy Cons suck anyways. I don’t know how anyone can play games with those microscopic nubs; it’s Pro controller or nothing for me.

That thing is hideously ugly and looks like any other number of generic handheld emulators already available.

This is fantastic news! Now bring back the classic pixel art, give us online multiplayer, and release the game for the Switch at the same time as the other consoles, and then we'll be good.

I feel bad for anyone who hasn’t already downloaded Nintendo’s complete catalog of classic ROMs. Imagine actually waiting on Nintendo to release these games. Madness.

Too bad My Arcade makes crappy products. After buying a ton of their mini arcade machines I’ve given up on this company. They use poor emulation, the weakest ROMs (NES instead of arcade), and they often have terrible scratchy sound quality. Their products look good but they always cheap out on the gameplay. And their release schedule is always way off, these Contra machines prob won’t be out for at least another year or so. Their social media is bad too, they never respond to customer questions of any kind. Unfortunately, My Arcade (and Arcade Classics) are the worst mini arcade makers on the market.

If you want good mini arcades I suggest sticking with Tiny Arcades, New Wave Toy’s Replicades, or Arcade1Up.

I'm surprised he's still alive. It makes sense I guess, video games have only been around for a few decades. But for some reason I always thought of Tetris as being created hundreds of years ago like during medieval Russia or something.

Try making a game that doesn't suck first, then maybe you will succeed.

I’d happily buy this for $80. For $400 it will never sell. The tiers are too confusing and unnecessary for a retro box. This is going to be a major commercial failure.

I thought it was boring as hell. I’m tired of Zelda, and don’t give a flip about Pokémon or Animal Crossing. They didn’t show anything new that interested me. And where’s the SNES games? Where’s Gamepass? Where are the folders? The most exciting thing about the Direct was the Contra Anniversary Collection. Probably the worst E3 presentation I’ve ever seen from Nintendo.

Good. Some common sense finally. But it should be included with the game at launch. Why is it an afterthought?

Meanwhile Mortal Kombat delivers the full game experience on Switch.

Waiting for the hacked version. I waited for the hacked versions of the NES and SNES minis and boi was it worth it!

Framerate dips pretty badly in this game especially online. You get too many cars and action on screen at once it it drops to the teens. It’s brief and mostly consistent, but it definitely drops noticeably here and there.

The problem I have with this game though is that you can’t join friends online. The stupidly behind this omission is beyond baffling.

Why would anyone buy this game when the developers don’t even bother including any screen shots or videos on the eshop? Just a still image of the game cover is all they show. Yeah that’s going to inspire a lot of people to drop $50 on this game. Eshop makes it look like shovel ware. Deserves to fail if they can’t figure out such basic marketing.

Stoked about Nightwolf. They need to bring back Reptile too.

@__chadnorred sold my Wii U and unfortunately all my masterpieces went with it.... So glad we finally have accounts and cloud storage for the Switch nowadays.
