@JohnnyMind For years I've been telling some people that lately, complaining seems more entertaining than actually playing the games. I'm not saying criticism is wrong, but the way it's done is problematic. It gets to the point where ''exaggeration'' is more useful than ''research''; And when it comes to Nintendo, ugh, it seems like a rule that everything negative has to be directed at Nintendo; it's ridiculous.
Sometimes I think they consider me a nuisance when I give this opinion, but when the comments seem like they're spoiling the party when something positive happens, or when there's no need to "see the glass half empty," I can't deny that it's necessary to speak up.
I repeat, I'm not against criticism, especially constructive and sensible criticism, but against the kind that's just complaining and whining and bothering others...
Interesting, this kind of games are my favorite, city builders, if possible, with some of "life sim" (waiting if Cities Skylines 2 and Transport Fever 3 would have Switch 2 version, I hope), however, I feel It seems like it's a game that leans more towards linearity than exploring at your own pace (I didn't read the whole review, in case that's mentioned, sorry), but anyway, I'll give it a try later.
Interesting, these kinds of racing games are my favorites (roads to explore, civilian traffic on highways). However, after what Ubisoft did with the first game, it's got me thinking, since it's supposed to be a full game and you pay for it as such; it's not free or a live service. Oh no, Oh my, oh well, it was to be expected. Games like these are bound to meet this fate eventually... But it's true they could have given it the same treatment as Pocket Camp, but oh well...
I won't deny it, the news shocked me, since it's one of the games I play literally every day, XD, but, as I mentioned, it was something that was bound to happen sooner or later, and now the time has come...
Oh, that's too bad... although I did buy the game, and like the rest of the Cruis'n series, it's a great game.
But it's sad that they removed this game without warning...
As some have said, it's possibly a licensing issue, since, as those who have seen, this game was originally released in arcades, and you might have noticed that one car brand wasn't included in the Switch version: Lamborghini. It's possible that another car brand didn't want to renew the license, and unfortunately, like what happened with Mario & Sonic, it had to be removed...
@LightSpirit I know of games (Monster Super League from 2017, for example) where the dynamic of catching a creature using an item shows the cinematic of the event of throwing that item at the target, showing the creature trying to escape the capture attempt, and also showing how the creature escapes or is caught; literally the same mechanic as Pokémon, and that game has not been sued and is still available.
@LightSpirit The argument that Nintendo wants a monopoly on creature-catching and taming games like Pokémon falls flat when you may see that there are many, far too many, games with these themes/gameplay, and even before Palworld, and they continue to operate without any legal issues.

@NerdyPaul
Exactly, why do we want Nintendo Directs if our trusted leaker or insider has already given us, and will continue to give us, the information that Nintendo was going to reveal as a surprise or in their own style? The Direct is just to confirm that our leaker was right, but if the information isn't revealed, we blame Nintendo and say the Direct was garbage for not delivering what it was supposed to announce.
...
What I said was in a sarcastic way, but sadly, it's very true, even though some deny it (and it's sad that they deny it...). And that's a major reason why Nintendo Directs aren't as frequent anymore and are now just random announcements on some days.
I usually replay many games over and over (like racing games), sometimes to see if there's a random element or something I missed the first time. However, I also replay them to hear the unique music or see a cutscene.
But in most cases, when I play every game for the first time, I always play at my own pace because I enjoy everything it offers, from the visual details and, again, the background music, to any curious or interesting detail throughout the game (in its story or the reason for the adventure).
@RadioHedgeFund Because sadly it seems that these days, fun is about COMPLAINING ABOUT EVERYTHING and even lashing out at something that don't even know well, instead of trying it out (and if (All) you don't believe me, look at your comments, seriously, and I've been saying this for years, and yes, it seems that attitude won't change...), in this case, playing video games regardless of the platform.
@IOI
Exactly, It seems that these days, complaining is much better than playing the games...;
They're reviving a franchise they let sleep after the commercial failure of their last game, which was really a NEW game at the time, but still, nothing but complaints, and well, there are have the results: complete abandonment by the so-called fans and by Nintendo itself...
And now that Nintendo is finally showing some enthusiasm, even with a "simple remake with designs updated to modern games," 'fans'' will turn their backs on it again....
Yeah, right, Nintendo might as well just put the franchise back to sleep and people keep complaining, which is all anyone seems to be doing these days...
Exclusivity might not appeal to everyone, but it's important to understand that in the console business, it's fundamental to sales. It makes sense if Xbox returns to having exclusives on its consoles, although I would have liked to see Forza Horizon 5 (and 6) on the Switch 2, but oh well, it's their decision...
@MamaSymphonia Someone who understands and isn't talking nonsense when they know this game is "FREE TO PLAY".
Well, you see, people continue with their "demonization" of Free to Play games when they know that, firstly, and secondly, because it's Pokémon, it's automatically treated as a "weirdo", the "black sheep", the one that deserves to be bullied even when it doesn't deserve it, in other words: "beaten a dead ponyta"
@ShadLink All of this is a form of "digital" entertainment, whether it's a physical game or a download (if that's how you want to refer to those games), they are digital games; the point here is about the games that have "all the content" on that physical medium (cartridge, disc, card) and those where all the content has to be downloaded from online platforms, and well, I don't need to elaborate on this point.
I respect those who don't want to get the game because it's on a "game key card," and that's fine too.
However, personally, I'm not going to miss out on enjoying the game just because it's digital (yes, that GKC thing is digital after all). Many games that I never got on disc or cartridge back in the day, I can only get digitally now, and on many platforms, games are available digitally. I'm not going to miss out on them just because they're digital, or their equivalent in this case, which is literally treated like the plague. I also prefer cartridges to digital, but I repeat, I'M NOT GOING TO MISS OUT ON PLAYING a game just because it's no longer available physically.
@hanzel
If you're referring to a certain user whose name I won't mention, the best thing you can do is click the ignore button and that's it, you avoid reading their comments. It's not pleasant, but honestly, using the ignore button with them means you no longer see their attempts to annoy or ruin the comments.
It was a bad Direct; there was no Test Drive or Transport Fever, and since none of the games I was expecting were shown, it deserves a 5, even though there were a few games that caught my attention.
Sincerely, someone who's upset because they didn't get the games they wanted...
...
Well, putting aside the parody of those complaining about their disappointment with the Direct; While it's true that I was eagerly anticipating some announcements of the games I mentioned in my post about this Direct's announcement, and that they didn't materialize, leaving me a little disappointed, it doesn't mean it was a bad or mediocre Direct. As I always say, it did its job: it announced upcoming games, delivered some interesting surprises (like the Bomberman Collection, Console Archives, among others), and well, we're just a little over a half year after the Switch 2 came out, so we'll have to wait and see what other games might be announced in future Directs or YouTube videos (Forza Horizon 5 or 6? XD).
As I mentioned in Time Extension, it would be good to know if more "consoles" are included for those older games, since some are PCs, like the MSX and the Amiga, which had some great games (like the DSi/Accolade racing games such as Test Drive). They'll definitely have more work to do with some games due to licensing issues, and frankly, with the consoles, they already have a much larger catalog to release.
Although I already have my first exclusive third-party game on the way (Gear.Club 3), another game like Test Drive Unlimited 3 would be another great addition to the catalog (and why not, a Need for Speed vintage pack, especially the 90s games, but hey, a girl can dream, XD).
Regarding sim strategy games like SimCity, I'd like Transport Fever 3 (and maybe the 2 one, XD), and Cities: Skylines 2, plus a A-Train game is already available for the console.
And then there are the famous games that "many don't hold in high regard", games like Genshin Impact and the newly announced ones like Annanta and others like it. I mean, they can't complain about the console's graphical potential anymore, but, well.
Let's see what surprises they have in store for us tomorrow, how exciting!!
More MySims games?!, Yeyy!! Although another pack is more likely, either with party games (Racing and Party, XD) or with the latest action games (Agents and SkyHeroes). But if it's a new one (not very likely knowing it's EA), then welcome it!!!
Happy new year 2026!! I hope you're having a great start to the year, and I also wish you all the good things you've set for yourself this year that come true.
Let's see what surprises await us in the world of video games!
I bought my Switch 2 yesterday with the Mario Kart World, really a great game and a great console, and well, still left to add the GameCube games and reserve another future games (as Gear.Club 3)
Great, I had already seen and heard about this game and it really looks great, but, since I saw that it was only on another console. Well, maybe it could come out on Switch sometime in the future, and well, it will. (edit: I don't read that already there will be a Switch 1 version, my bad)
@Yosti
Here's someone who's played those games and noticed how lately people seem to have forgotten that Need for Speed existed before the Underground era.
Although, here on this website, they might have a point, since the NFS games, from the first one (1994) to Porsche Unleashed (2000), were never released on Nintendo consoles (well, there was a port of Porsche for the GBA years later, quite interesting, but, well...).
Now,
And regarding the opinion of whether Most Wanted is the best, the truth is, it's a matter of personal opinion,, However, the addition of police chases, an interesting story, and other details, which for obvious reasons give it its well-deserved fame, cannot be denied. However, I would put High Stakes (1999), since it not only continued the additions from the original Hot Pursuit (1998), such as police chases, but also the car damage effects, a Career mode, and more that I won't mention because it would make this post even longer. But I will say this: many people will say things about the soundtracks of the NFS games from the Underground era, but for me, the soundtracks of those 90s classics were something I truly miss. They weren't just unique, they were "original" to those games. Anyway...
I'm interested in the game, and I don't care if it's on a Game Kit card; I want to play it. Besides, many games I've wanted to play are no longer available physically, and if I want to play them, unfortunately, it's only in digital format. Also, many indie games are digital, not physical, and I'm not going to deprive myself of playing them just because they're digital.
And I prefer physical formats, but unfortunately, on many platforms, games are no longer available in physical format.
And okay, I respect those who don't want to play the game in digital format (or this imitation of physical-digital); they have every right to refuse, it's entirely their decision, and it should be respected.
@HeadPirate I have a question. Usually, the survey results are kept private, but I know they sometimes share some of them publicly. Do you know where they published some of that data so I can see what else they might implement in future versions?
I'm also asking because, as we know, the Chinese version has many features that the international version (like a free area to walk your trainer and favorite Pokémon) doesn't, and I saw comments that these might be implemented at some point.
So, they're changing the method of obtaining Pokémon, making it similar to games like Brawl Stars and Smash Legends, where you earned points by playing with each character, but those points were very limited, or you could get them from loot boxes or battle passes.
Yes, it's become a bit more complex to obtain Pokémon; but in this game, you literally got Pokémon without spending a penny. While that's great for us, it wasn't so positive for them, since I know people who have most of the Pokémon without spending money on holowear or trainer outfits—they have the most important things without spending a single penny.
@Orwellian87 Saying Game Freak is like EA is pretty low and cruel, because they're only the main developers. Yes, they're the creators and own part of the franchise. However, the strong owners are Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Although the latter were created by Nintendo and Game Freak, they're completely independent and have almost total control of the franchise; And that's how things work. Even though it may not seem like it and may even sound very strange, and this has been repeated in many occasions. If you want to compare someone to EA, it would be precisely TPC. EA isn't even a games developer; they're just the publishers. They own the IPs. They decide which ones to continue, when to lauch, and which ones to freezer. They also decide which Developers should develop the games, and at the same time, which ones should continue or disappear. Do you think Game Freak has all that power with its entire franchise? That's why it's repeated. That's why, together with Nintendo, they created TPC.
However, I don't deny that part of Pokémon's problems also fall on Game Freak, since they should accept that they have an overload of work and "it has already been taking its toll" on the design of the worlds and the visual performance and the game in general, but as the Japanese that they are and their culture, they are with the idea that they can do it, but we see that in the end, not everything can be done if they want to complete the work that the TPC has scheduled for them and that the game must be released during the already marked season, and that unfortunately they cannot negotiate, so now we understand that pressure to have the games ready on time ... Now imagine this matter, next year marks 30 years of the franchise and what do you think they have prepared for that year? That's right, the 10th generation, that game, knowing how the situation is, they wanted that game to be the representative of the 30 years, adding the DLC announced in advance of Legends A-Z, and I don't know what else they wanted to release for the following year, then you already know Can you imagine the schedule that the TPC has, and the pressure on Game Freak to have that game for the following year?
That's why, for my part, I pity that Game Freak is the one who pays the price for pleasing the Pokemon fans and "their bosses (TPC specially)" to have the games ready and obviously not lose the profits generated by their games...
Sorry, but for me, and many others, any information or investigative documentary coming from IGN already has very dubious credibility. And, on this subject, I'm sorry, but lately I've seen a kind of "negative campaign" toward Nintendo, and I see this topic heading in that direction...
I know that many people have a "disdain" (I would even say hatred) for cell phone/smartphone/tablet (mobile) games on the Android and iOS platforms, but they are still games and like PC gaming, mobile gaming should also be included in the question of what platforms you have to play.
@Bizzyb I don't think this is why they left Android, since there is a version for Apple, specifically for the Apple Arcade ecosystem, and there, the game is called Gear.Club Stralade, and it's the same thing, just that since mobile platforms are very competitive and we're talking about a 2018 game, they didn't want to give more support to that version, they gave up in the end.
By "traditional," I think you're referring more to "Simcades." That's how I see them calling those games that are Simulators, but, to make it less difficult for everyone, they add more arcade-like "controls." And yes, there aren't many of those games on Nintendo consoles. The most recent, Hot Lap Racing, is the closest to those recent games.
Wow!!, this is great!!
However, Although it's a shame they abandoned the Android versions... oh well.
What surprises me is that the publisher is the same as Test Drive Unlimited 3!! If they already have support from Eden Games, then I think a new Test Drive Unlimited with Eden Games developing it is feasible. And yes, it's not entirely the same Eden that developed NFS Porsche and TD Unlimited 1 and 2, since Atari (Infogrames) dismantled everything before going bankrupt in those years. But it's not for nothing that they have the same logo, since part of the original crew was to revive the studio and continue making racing games.
From what I see in most of the comments, and from the editor of this article himself, since when did the Switch 2 become a bad console and that it's better not to buy it?! Am I sure I'm on a Nintendo fan site?
And let me clarify, criticism is fine, but not drama or pretending things are horrible just for the sake of it.
@NFrealinkling If you only knew how high the collecting levels are with this Hot Wheels thing, $22 is cheap compared to others I've seen at official conventions.
Isn't it the game that came out back in early 2000? Because that game did have its port but for the Wii, and it was simply named Cruin's, without the Universal license for the Fast and the Furious movie.
This Atari is far from the giant it was in the 70s and 80s. We mustn't forget that it's the French company "Infogrames," which, when it acquired all the rights to Atari's ashes, renamed itself Atari. And more than a decade ago, it was bankrupt, but it managed to recover. Judging by some comments, it seems they're already improving, and I hope so, especially for the sake of having bought this developer.
For those asking about GB and GBA classics at NSO, I have a feeling they are saving it for next year since the next one, as is known and mentioned, is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and therefore, for the surprises they want to give us that year, possibly that is why they have remained somewhat "silent" with the news, but well, that is my opinion.
@ThatOneLevel
The thing is that next year is Pokémon's 30th anniversary, so I doubt The Pokémon Company wants to announce and release the 10th generation outside of that schedule. And just as they're scheduled to have everything at a very meticulous and precise pace, which, yes, is detrimental, especially for the last few generations, but unfortunately, it's worked for them. That's why they don't tell The Pokémon Company anything about, because for those financial results... sigh
However, what I do hope is that after releasing the tenth generation, without anything more important on the horizon, now, as it should be, they allow the main games to be developed without exaggerated deadlines and that both Game Freak and the franchise itself can take a break. Well, that's what we all hope, or the vast majority.
@NinjaWaddleDee I respect the opinions of others, because expressing an opinion is something we can all do. However, sometimes some opinions come across as a "party pooper" or even dismissive, and that can be annoying. I repeat, not because of the negative opinion on the matter, but because of the way it is expressed.
Now, that of investing in side projects/spin offs, well seeing it in a certain way, I think that could help to give more time to the development of the main games, and I explain it like this: many spin off games have a lot of history, lore that sometimes are not found in the main games, say games like Pokemon Ranger, Mystery Dungeon or even Game Cube games like Coliseum and XD, had stories that could still give more, if a "temporary" approach were given to some of those games, even giving them well-made anime/cartoons that were successful, I think the pressure for something new from the main saga would decrease, and thus we could have a more developed and polished main Pokemon game as it should be, well, that's my idea, maybe it would work and maybe not, but it would be interesting if the main games were given the opportunity to be well developed and the spin offs could be interesting and shine.
This is what bothers me about the internet: when people are faced with a problem between individuals or companies, the first thing they say is a direct attack on one of the parties in the conflict, without even knowing the true reason for the conflict. Or, worse, they assume and use it as the truth (because sadly, half the world thinks what they say or is said on the internet is the absolute truth). And when, even after threatening one of the parties in the conflict, the real truth is discovered, no one takes responsibility for the atrocities reported on the internet, and they act as if nothing happened. How pathetic those who do that are... And the saddest thing about all this is that, in the next conflict, these abuses are repeated, and many still say it as a joke: That's the drama of the internet, and it shouldn't be taken lightly (yes, of course, when the threats end up being true, that's the fun, right?)
We all hate that shell when we're in first place, but we also love it when we're far behind, and that's because that's how Mario Kart is, it's random, it's fair and unfair at the same time, and it's complete chaos in every race, and that's what gives it its essence and its fame, without that, Mario Kart wouldn't be the same.
@ArcticEcho
exactly as you say, it is a billion dollar franchise that needs a very strict control, but the main games are developed only by Game Freak, no matter how much money there is, if the Pokemon company does not give the necessary support and put the developments are short term, the games will continue to be rushed out with all the problems that this entails, and as always, Game Freak is the one who will pay the price, as seen in so many comments in anyplace, and not the Pokemon company, which as I repeat, they think is Game Freak's, which yes, it was created by them with Nintendo, but it is a "totally" independent company from both Nintendo and Game Freak.
In short words, if The Pokemon company want a new main Pokemon game NOW, Game Freak has to obey them, no questions.
*The Pokemon Company and its deadlines; I repeat, although the Pokemon Company was created, in part, by Game Freak, it is an independent company and therefore, they created their own boss.
*Fans wanting more Pokemon, and the Pokemon Company satisfying them because that way the momentum of increased sales of everything related to the franchise is maintained.
Well, this is something that has been repeated, but many still don't understand, or just want to be tied to thinking that Game Freak is the 'only' villain here...
What's more feasible for having a well-developed game?
Having your own time to develop the game, without pressure or deadlines; or having a manager (the Pokémon company, even if it's your own creation, is your boss, don't forget that) constantly telling you when to have the games ready, regardless of whether the necessary development time is enough?

Many games that I never got on disc or cartridge back in the day, I can only get digitally now, and on many platforms, games are available digitally. I'm not going to miss out on them just because they're digital, or their equivalent in this case, which is literally treated like the plague. I also prefer cartridges to digital, but I repeat, I'M NOT GOING TO MISS OUT ON PLAYING a game just because it's no longer available physically.

If you're referring to a certain user whose name I won't mention, the best thing you can do is click the ignore button and that's it, you avoid reading their comments. It's not pleasant, but honestly, using the ignore button with them means you no longer see their attempts to annoy or ruin the comments.
Re: Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase February 2026: Every Announcement, Game Reveal, Trailer
XD).
Anyway, greetings.
Re: Hamster's 'Console Archives' Is The Closest We'll Get To Virtual Console In 2026
As I mentioned in Time Extension, it would be good to know if more "consoles" are included for those older games, since some are PCs, like the MSX and the Amiga, which had some great games (like the DSi/Accolade racing games such as Test Drive). They'll definitely have more work to do with some games due to licensing issues, and frankly, with the consoles, they already have a much larger catalog to release.
Old IBM PC games too, yes, yes?
Re: Super Bomberman Collection Gets A Surprise Shadow Drop On Switch 2
It's great to know that the old Bomberman games will be returning to be played around this time of year and remembered by new generations.
Let's also hope for more collections, since it's a franchise with many games from its golden age.
Re: Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase Announced For Tomorrow, 5th February 2026
Re: Rumour: MySims Could Be Getting A New Switch Game, According To EA Survey
More MySims games?!, Yeyy!!
Although another pack is more likely, either with party games (Racing and Party, XD) or with the latest action games (Agents and SkyHeroes).
But if it's a new one (not very likely knowing it's EA), then welcome it!!!
Re: Editorial: Happy New Year From Nintendo Life
Happy new year 2026!!
I hope you're having a great start to the year, and I also wish you all the good things you've set for yourself this year that come true.
Let's see what surprises await us in the world of video games!
Re: Editorial: Happy Holidays From Everyone At Nintendo Life
Merry Christmas!!
I hope you are enjoying these holidays, and especially with your families and friends!! ^^
Re: Japanese Charts: Switch 2 And Mario Kart World Continue To Obliterate The Competition
I bought my Switch 2 yesterday with the Mario Kart World, really a great game and a great console, and well, still left to add the GameCube games and reserve another future games (as Gear.Club 3)
Re: 'Starsand Island' Is Getting A Switch 2 Version With Quality And Performance Modes
Great, I had already seen and heard about this game and it really looks great, but, since I saw that it was only on another console. Well, maybe it could come out on Switch sometime in the future, and well, it will. (edit: I don't read that already there will be a Switch 1 version, my bad)
Re: Opinion: 20 Years Later, Need For Speed: Most Wanted Is Still The Series' Best Outing
@Yosti
Anyway...
Re: Pokémon Pokopia Reveals "Peculiar" New Forms In Extended 10-Minute Trailer
Re: Pokémon Unite Is Discontinuing Aeos Coins In Its December Game Update
@HeadPirate
I have a question.
Re: Pokémon Unite Is Discontinuing Aeos Coins In Its December Game Update
So, they're changing the method of obtaining Pokémon, making it similar to games like Brawl Stars and Smash Legends, where you earned points by playing with each character, but those points were very limited, or you could get them from loot boxes or battle passes.
Yes, it's become a bit more complex to obtain Pokémon; but in this game, you literally got Pokémon without spending a penny. While that's great for us, it wasn't so positive for them, since I know people who have most of the Pokémon without spending money on holowear or trainer outfits—they have the most important things without spending a single penny.
Re: Review: Pokémon Legends: Z-A - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Stellar Battles, But A Step Down From Arceus
@Orwellian87
Saying Game Freak is like EA is pretty low and cruel, because they're only the main developers.
Re: Nintendo Of America Reportedly Cuts Loose Customer Service Contractors As It Looks To Outsource
Information from IGN?
Sorry, but for me, and many others, any information or investigative documentary coming from IGN already has very dubious credibility.
And, on this subject, I'm sorry, but lately I've seen a kind of "negative campaign" toward Nintendo, and I see this topic heading in that direction...
Re: Nintendo Life Reader Survey 2025
I know that many people have a "disdain" (I would even say hatred) for cell phone/smartphone/tablet (mobile) games on the Android and iOS platforms, but they are still games and like PC gaming, mobile gaming should also be included in the question of what platforms you have to play.
Re: Publisher Acclaim Is Set To Host Its Own Showcase Next Month

Test Drive series was originally from Accolade until Test Drive 5, the same that published Bubsy, now, Test Drive is owned by Nacon
Re: Nintendo Releases 'It's Me, Mario!' Stop Motion Shorts, Watch Them Right Here
What's a cute!!! ^^
Waiting for more!!
Re: Gear.Club Unlimited 3 Speeds Onto Switch 2 Later This Year
@Bizzyb
I don't think this is why they left Android, since there is a version for Apple, specifically for the Apple Arcade ecosystem, and there, the game is called Gear.Club Stralade, and it's the same thing, just that since mobile platforms are very competitive and we're talking about a 2018 game, they didn't want to give more support to that version, they gave up in the end.
Re: Gear.Club Unlimited 3 Speeds Onto Switch 2 Later This Year
Wow!!, this is great!!
Re: Video: Uh Oh, Elden Ring On Switch 2 Has Issues In Handheld Mode
From what I see in most of the comments, and from the editor of this article himself, since when did the Switch 2 become a bad console and that it's better not to buy it?!
Am I sure I'm on a Nintendo fan site?
And let me clarify, criticism is fine, but not drama or pretending things are horrible just for the sake of it.
Re: Mattel Adds Special Edition Pauline To Its Mario Kart Hot Wheels Line
@NFrealinkling
If you only knew how high the collecting levels are with this Hot Wheels thing, $22 is cheap compared to others I've seen at official conventions.
Re: Fast & Furious: Arcade Port Cruises Onto Switch This October
Isn't it the game that came out back in early 2000? Because that game did have its port but for the Wii, and it was simply named Cruin's, without the Universal license for the Fast and the Furious movie.
Re: Atari To Acquire 'SteamWorld' Dev Thunderful
This Atari is far from the giant it was in the 70s and 80s. We mustn't forget that it's the French company "Infogrames," which, when it acquired all the rights to Atari's ashes, renamed itself Atari.
And more than a decade ago, it was bankrupt, but it managed to recover. Judging by some comments, it seems they're already improving, and I hope so, especially for the sake of having bought this developer.
Re: Pokémon Presents July 2025: Every Announcement, Full Livestream
For those asking about GB and GBA classics at NSO, I have a feeling they are saving it for next year since the next one, as is known and mentioned, is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and therefore, for the surprises they want to give us that year, possibly that is why they have remained somewhat "silent" with the news, but well, that is my opinion.
Re: Pokémon Is Teasing Something Ahead Of Next Week's Showcase
@ThatOneLevel
Re: Pokémon Is Teasing Something Ahead Of Next Week's Showcase
@NinjaWaddleDee
I respect the opinions of others, because expressing an opinion is something we can all do.
Re: "That's Some Real Coward S***" - Hideki Kamiya Discusses The Fallout From The Bayonetta 3 Voiceover Controversy
Oh my...
Re: Sega Knows You Hate Mario Kart's Blue Shells
We all hate that shell when we're in first place, but we also love it when we're far behind, and that's because that's how Mario Kart is, it's random, it's fair and unfair at the same time, and it's complete chaos in every race, and that's what gives it its essence and its fame, without that, Mario Kart wouldn't be the same.
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@ArcticEcho
exactly as you say, it is a billion dollar franchise that needs a very strict control, but the main games are developed only by Game Freak, no matter how much money there is, if the Pokemon company does not give the necessary support and put the developments are short term, the games will continue to be rushed out with all the problems that this entails, and as always, Game Freak is the one who will pay the price, as seen in so many comments in anyplace, and not the Pokemon company, which as I repeat, they think is Game Freak's, which yes, it was created by them with Nintendo, but it is a "totally" independent company from both Nintendo and Game Freak.
In short words, if The Pokemon company want a new main Pokemon game NOW, Game Freak has to obey them, no questions.
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@Chips07
Easy, 2 answers:
*The Pokemon Company and its deadlines; I repeat, although the Pokemon Company was created, in part, by Game Freak, it is an independent company and therefore, they created their own boss.
*Fans wanting more Pokemon, and the Pokemon Company satisfying them because that way the momentum of increased sales of everything related to the franchise is maintained.
Well, this is something that has been repeated, but many still don't understand, or just want to be tied to thinking that Game Freak is the 'only' villain here...
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@UnbreakableAlex @ArcticEcho
@Koda1000
The answer is obvious.
