Great, I had already seen and heard about this game and it really looks great, but, since I saw that it was only on another console. Well, maybe it could come out on Switch sometime in the future, and well, it will. (edit: I don't read that already there will be a Switch 1 version, my bad)
@Yosti
Here's someone who's played those games and noticed how lately people seem to have forgotten that Need for Speed existed before the Underground era.
Although, here on this website, they might have a point, since the NFS games, from the first one (1994) to Porsche Unleashed (2000), were never released on Nintendo consoles (well, there was a port of Porsche for the GBA years later, quite interesting, but, well...).
Now,
And regarding the opinion of whether Most Wanted is the best, the truth is, it's a matter of personal opinion,, However, the addition of police chases, an interesting story, and other details, which for obvious reasons give it its well-deserved fame, cannot be denied. However, I would put High Stakes (1999), since it not only continued the additions from the original Hot Pursuit (1998), such as police chases, but also the car damage effects, a Career mode, and more that I won't mention because it would make this post even longer. But I will say this: many people will say things about the soundtracks of the NFS games from the Underground era, but for me, the soundtracks of those 90s classics were something I truly miss. They weren't just unique, they were "original" to those games. Anyway...
I'm interested in the game, and I don't care if it's on a Game Kit card; I want to play it. Besides, many games I've wanted to play are no longer available physically, and if I want to play them, unfortunately, it's only in digital format. Also, many indie games are digital, not physical, and I'm not going to deprive myself of playing them just because they're digital.
And I prefer physical formats, but unfortunately, on many platforms, games are no longer available in physical format.
And okay, I respect those who don't want to play the game in digital format (or this imitation of physical-digital); they have every right to refuse, it's entirely their decision, and it should be respected.
@HeadPirate I have a question. Usually, the survey results are kept private, but I know they sometimes share some of them publicly. Do you know where they published some of that data so I can see what else they might implement in future versions?
I'm also asking because, as we know, the Chinese version has many features that the international version (like a free area to walk your trainer and favorite Pokémon) doesn't, and I saw comments that these might be implemented at some point.
So, they're changing the method of obtaining Pokémon, making it similar to games like Brawl Stars and Smash Legends, where you earned points by playing with each character, but those points were very limited, or you could get them from loot boxes or battle passes.
Yes, it's become a bit more complex to obtain Pokémon; but in this game, you literally got Pokémon without spending a penny. While that's great for us, it wasn't so positive for them, since I know people who have most of the Pokémon without spending money on holowear or trainer outfits—they have the most important things without spending a single penny.
@Orwellian87 Saying Game Freak is like EA is pretty low and cruel, because they're only the main developers. Yes, they're the creators and own part of the franchise. However, the strong owners are Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. Although the latter were created by Nintendo and Game Freak, they're completely independent and have almost total control of the franchise; And that's how things work. Even though it may not seem like it and may even sound very strange, and this has been repeated in many occasions. If you want to compare someone to EA, it would be precisely TPC. EA isn't even a games developer; they're just the publishers. They own the IPs. They decide which ones to continue, when to lauch, and which ones to freezer. They also decide which Developers should develop the games, and at the same time, which ones should continue or disappear. Do you think Game Freak has all that power with its entire franchise? That's why it's repeated. That's why, together with Nintendo, they created TPC.
However, I don't deny that part of Pokémon's problems also fall on Game Freak, since they should accept that they have an overload of work and "it has already been taking its toll" on the design of the worlds and the visual performance and the game in general, but as the Japanese that they are and their culture, they are with the idea that they can do it, but we see that in the end, not everything can be done if they want to complete the work that the TPC has scheduled for them and that the game must be released during the already marked season, and that unfortunately they cannot negotiate, so now we understand that pressure to have the games ready on time ... Now imagine this matter, next year marks 30 years of the franchise and what do you think they have prepared for that year? That's right, the 10th generation, that game, knowing how the situation is, they wanted that game to be the representative of the 30 years, adding the DLC announced in advance of Legends A-Z, and I don't know what else they wanted to release for the following year, then you already know Can you imagine the schedule that the TPC has, and the pressure on Game Freak to have that game for the following year?
That's why, for my part, I pity that Game Freak is the one who pays the price for pleasing the Pokemon fans and "their bosses (TPC specially)" to have the games ready and obviously not lose the profits generated by their games...
Sorry, but for me, and many others, any information or investigative documentary coming from IGN already has very dubious credibility. And, on this subject, I'm sorry, but lately I've seen a kind of "negative campaign" toward Nintendo, and I see this topic heading in that direction...
I know that many people have a "disdain" (I would even say hatred) for cell phone/smartphone/tablet (mobile) games on the Android and iOS platforms, but they are still games and like PC gaming, mobile gaming should also be included in the question of what platforms you have to play.
@Bizzyb I don't think this is why they left Android, since there is a version for Apple, specifically for the Apple Arcade ecosystem, and there, the game is called Gear.Club Stralade, and it's the same thing, just that since mobile platforms are very competitive and we're talking about a 2018 game, they didn't want to give more support to that version, they gave up in the end.
By "traditional," I think you're referring more to "Simcades." That's how I see them calling those games that are Simulators, but, to make it less difficult for everyone, they add more arcade-like "controls." And yes, there aren't many of those games on Nintendo consoles. The most recent, Hot Lap Racing, is the closest to those recent games.
Wow!!, this is great!!
However, Although it's a shame they abandoned the Android versions... oh well.
What surprises me is that the publisher is the same as Test Drive Unlimited 3!! If they already have support from Eden Games, then I think a new Test Drive Unlimited with Eden Games developing it is feasible. And yes, it's not entirely the same Eden that developed NFS Porsche and TD Unlimited 1 and 2, since Atari (Infogrames) dismantled everything before going bankrupt in those years. But it's not for nothing that they have the same logo, since part of the original crew was to revive the studio and continue making racing games.
From what I see in most of the comments, and from the editor of this article himself, since when did the Switch 2 become a bad console and that it's better not to buy it?! Am I sure I'm on a Nintendo fan site?
And let me clarify, criticism is fine, but not drama or pretending things are horrible just for the sake of it.
@NFrealinkling If you only knew how high the collecting levels are with this Hot Wheels thing, $22 is cheap compared to others I've seen at official conventions.
Isn't it the game that came out back in early 2000? Because that game did have its port but for the Wii, and it was simply named Cruin's, without the Universal license for the Fast and the Furious movie.
This Atari is far from the giant it was in the 70s and 80s. We mustn't forget that it's the French company "Infogrames," which, when it acquired all the rights to Atari's ashes, renamed itself Atari. And more than a decade ago, it was bankrupt, but it managed to recover. Judging by some comments, it seems they're already improving, and I hope so, especially for the sake of having bought this developer.
For those asking about GB and GBA classics at NSO, I have a feeling they are saving it for next year since the next one, as is known and mentioned, is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and therefore, for the surprises they want to give us that year, possibly that is why they have remained somewhat "silent" with the news, but well, that is my opinion.
@ThatOneLevel
The thing is that next year is Pokémon's 30th anniversary, so I doubt The Pokémon Company wants to announce and release the 10th generation outside of that schedule. And just as they're scheduled to have everything at a very meticulous and precise pace, which, yes, is detrimental, especially for the last few generations, but unfortunately, it's worked for them. That's why they don't tell The Pokémon Company anything about, because for those financial results... sigh
However, what I do hope is that after releasing the tenth generation, without anything more important on the horizon, now, as it should be, they allow the main games to be developed without exaggerated deadlines and that both Game Freak and the franchise itself can take a break. Well, that's what we all hope, or the vast majority.
@NinjaWaddleDee I respect the opinions of others, because expressing an opinion is something we can all do. However, sometimes some opinions come across as a "party pooper" or even dismissive, and that can be annoying. I repeat, not because of the negative opinion on the matter, but because of the way it is expressed.
Now, that of investing in side projects/spin offs, well seeing it in a certain way, I think that could help to give more time to the development of the main games, and I explain it like this: many spin off games have a lot of history, lore that sometimes are not found in the main games, say games like Pokemon Ranger, Mystery Dungeon or even Game Cube games like Coliseum and XD, had stories that could still give more, if a "temporary" approach were given to some of those games, even giving them well-made anime/cartoons that were successful, I think the pressure for something new from the main saga would decrease, and thus we could have a more developed and polished main Pokemon game as it should be, well, that's my idea, maybe it would work and maybe not, but it would be interesting if the main games were given the opportunity to be well developed and the spin offs could be interesting and shine.
This is what bothers me about the internet: when people are faced with a problem between individuals or companies, the first thing they say is a direct attack on one of the parties in the conflict, without even knowing the true reason for the conflict. Or, worse, they assume and use it as the truth (because sadly, half the world thinks what they say or is said on the internet is the absolute truth). And when, even after threatening one of the parties in the conflict, the real truth is discovered, no one takes responsibility for the atrocities reported on the internet, and they act as if nothing happened. How pathetic those who do that are... And the saddest thing about all this is that, in the next conflict, these abuses are repeated, and many still say it as a joke: That's the drama of the internet, and it shouldn't be taken lightly (yes, of course, when the threats end up being true, that's the fun, right?)
We all hate that shell when we're in first place, but we also love it when we're far behind, and that's because that's how Mario Kart is, it's random, it's fair and unfair at the same time, and it's complete chaos in every race, and that's what gives it its essence and its fame, without that, Mario Kart wouldn't be the same.
@ArcticEcho
exactly as you say, it is a billion dollar franchise that needs a very strict control, but the main games are developed only by Game Freak, no matter how much money there is, if the Pokemon company does not give the necessary support and put the developments are short term, the games will continue to be rushed out with all the problems that this entails, and as always, Game Freak is the one who will pay the price, as seen in so many comments in anyplace, and not the Pokemon company, which as I repeat, they think is Game Freak's, which yes, it was created by them with Nintendo, but it is a "totally" independent company from both Nintendo and Game Freak.
In short words, if The Pokemon company want a new main Pokemon game NOW, Game Freak has to obey them, no questions.
*The Pokemon Company and its deadlines; I repeat, although the Pokemon Company was created, in part, by Game Freak, it is an independent company and therefore, they created their own boss.
*Fans wanting more Pokemon, and the Pokemon Company satisfying them because that way the momentum of increased sales of everything related to the franchise is maintained.
Well, this is something that has been repeated, but many still don't understand, or just want to be tied to thinking that Game Freak is the 'only' villain here...
What's more feasible for having a well-developed game?
Having your own time to develop the game, without pressure or deadlines; or having a manager (the Pokémon company, even if it's your own creation, is your boss, don't forget that) constantly telling you when to have the games ready, regardless of whether the necessary development time is enough?
It's good when a franchise that seemed forgotten is revived, especially when it's one that, in its first game, proposed many interesting and unique things, especially on the console where it appeared. In fact, that game is now back via NSO, and everyone can give this almost-lost gem another chance.
However, the main issue, in my opinion, with the new game isn't the art style, nor is it the multiplayer offering, but the gameplay itself. I mean, in previous games, there was a real sense of either figuring out how to survive or the game was over, and this was clearly emphasized despite the art style, However, in this game, judging by the videos shown, while survival is still the main objective, that "essence" is no longer felt. It feels more like a very "friendly" game, almost as many would say, a "party-style" game than a survival game. But well, this is my perception from the videos shown of the game, it really needs to be tested to give a true verdict.
Nice!! Now waiting for some that personally I wish for; the Transfer pack option for Pokemon stadium games, Mario Tennis and Mario Golf and connect with the its respective GB games.
And right now in the game, there's already news of an update for it, although as the news report says, it's just an update to the game system and minor bug fixes. Well, let's see if that's all it is.
I had my suspicions for a long time that this game would have more updates in the future, since it had a big update that was not reflected much but I had my suspicions due to limiting the smart devices to play, until "plotholes" that something else could be out there, but, well, they are my suspicions and this news is more than a rumor of "leaks", so all that remains is to wait for possible big news and a current update to the game.
When I saw Atari's listing for this collection, I thought, "Is history repeating itself again?"
As a quick recap, Accolade, the original developers of Bubsy, were bought by Infogrames around 1999. Later, Infogrames permanently acquired the rights to what remained of Atari from Hasbro, and renamed themselves Atari Inc.
Some time later, Accolade was revived ( independent) for a new Bubsy game, which again went unnoticed, and they haven't been seen again in recent years. When I saw this news, I thought Atari had bought the new Accolade. However, as I mentioned earlier, they already had the rights to Bubsy from the start. XD
That's what I've always liked about Nintendo, that they know how to optimize their games, even down to their size; that's what I'd like other developers to learn, because seriously, the space required in other games sometimes borders on excessive for what they contain.
Oh, the Knockout GP, I remember that mode in games like F Zero or NFS, where frustration becomes greater as the race progresses and the risk of being in the last positions, one mistake and goodbye race... I always expected this mode for Mario Kart, and well, it came true, XD
@Cathalm Exactly, in fact, Nintendo games on mobile devices, including Pokémon, none of them have had an ads system, although some do have a time-restricted system like Pokémon Masters, but as for invasive ads, absolutely none that I know of.
They (Nintendo) created it (The Pokemon Company) along with Game Freak and Creatures; and they created it as a controller for the Pokemon franchise, so Nintendo would only worry about its own games, and in terms of sales and marketing, they have succeeded, although on the calendar side for the games, they have been very rushed and putting pressure on Game Freak (yes, Game Freak created their own boss, after all).
Disappearing The Pokemon Company would be a mistake due to everything that the franchise entails (video games and their spin offs, anime/cartoons/specials, comics/manga, toys, movies, the trading card game, Pokemon centers, the licenses in various products and services and even a long etc.) and that mistake would lead Nintendo to have more work to do.
What is needed would be a restructuring of the executives and more support in the development of the games, if they want to have it soon or better to give them the necessary time and avoid overpressure
An example of not having a "delegate" for this was with the company Level 5, they had so many projects in general and they could not control them all well, which ended with the decline of some of their games and long delays in others.
@MysticX Exactly, as mentioned, that is the real reason why many defend emulation of current consoles, playing free games and even profiting from it (piracy in short).
If it were really for having "an experience" as some people mention, there wouldn't be so much of a problem (marking with caution when using official console updates and what is marked in the clauses), but it is repeated, that is the "excuse" that many give, when, it is really for not paying for the games, and unfortunately that kills the legitimacy for emulation of retro games, which it shouldn't, but, as everything is "put in the same bag", oh well...
No monetization (not even a penny), no using oficial updates from Nintendo for the original Switch, no link to unauthorized ROMs of Switch games; With that accomplished, it is more likely that Nintendo will no longer take it into account.
Oh, wow, It is interesting to see how companies that have been extinct for a long time, but that made a name for themselves in their time, are revived; although this is difficult given how the industry has evolved and especially, for some, the not so pleasant history they had before going to a better life. A few years ago, another company had returned, Accolade-, however, to this day, nothing is known about them and their new projects...
The point of not adding everything is to keep the game relevant while the game is still active for a long time, because if we remember games like Pokémon GO, the detail was that they have put almost everything from the 9 generations, and even though there are still more Pokémon from previous generations missing, the game has low relevance currently, that makes it difficult for them to keep it strong as before; they don't want this new game to suffer that fate too soon, and more than this type of games, although it can be entertaining and is something that many have wanted for years, it would feel limited in a short time.
Now, one thing I have in mind, is that they will very possibly apply something like Mario Kart tour, that is, that every certain "season", some Pokémon, even if they have been added, will not be available until said season ends and another one begins, however, some that were available, would no longer be, until another season later; well, I repeat, that is an idea of mine, we still don't know much about the game, hehe
Unlike the case of Palworld where there is still intrigue as to why the lawsuit (they say patents, but they give the information in a "confusing" way that makes it doubtful and other factors already mentioned in other topics), this rip off game literally uses too much of Pokémon without modifying it, seriously, this one had very easy reasons for a lawsuit.
@Yosher
Money does not completely influence the quality of the game, it is more than obvious, the time they allow for its development, and seeing that it has been more than 1 year (almost 2) without anything new from Pokémon from the main series, one can think that they are giving it that time that Game Freak needed for to have a well developed game.
Honestly, it would be interesting to see what other news they have for the Switch at the beginning and middle of the year, in addition to what was already confirmed last year.
However, here I will make a somewhat 'annoy-sad' comment... Thanks and many thanks to the leakers (and their fans) I could think that Nintendo is already starting to lose interest in doing Nintendo Directs if with each broadcast, all they do is confirm information that has already been "on the internet" for days, weeks or even months. It seems unfair to me that Nintendo trying to make the presentation in their style to make it fun, exciting and with the touch of surprise that they are going to announce, is ruined by people who already "informed" themselves and to top it off, in addition to showing an indifference for the lack of "novelty" they even complain, and if you think I'm saying exaggeratedly, what did you think when the Switch 2 was shown? Many saying it was 'meh' because they already knew, if they didn't know, the answer would be more varied (yes, there would be 'meh', but less like it was because of the leaks) and now, haven't you suspected that the supposed Nintendo Direct that was supposed to have been at the end of the last year was never presented, and we only had random announcements on the official Nintendo accounts? Why wasn't there a Direct?, there could be several answers, but for me, one of them is what I mentioned, lack of interest if the public already seems to show a lack of interest just because many already got informed first through the leaks... as I mentioned, it's my opinion, but That's what I see with this whole leak thing...
If that rumor is true, wow, I would be impressed and excited, but well, first of all, it is a rumor and we just have to wait for its official confirmation.
@Zeebor15 I am not a big fan of the Microsoft company either, however, as I said before, I separate the company/people/politics/religion from the games because I want to play those games that I want and that make me enjoy; and in this case, games like Age of Empires and Forza motorsport/horizons are from Microsoft but they are also my favorites.
Railway Empire 1 & 2, As the classic Railroad Tycoon series, and Cities Skylines, as it was with SimCity, the use of the mouse helps a lot for the games in general (Constructing a railway line, a road or highway network, an urban area or forest area, reshaping a plot of land and/or placing a building); So, with these games, and, as well as the aforementioned Rollercoaster Tycoon, being more originally for PC with the use of mouse in mind, it is more than relatively obvious that if the Switch 2 has that functionality of having a mouse, then it would help with this kind of games
MySims, although, with the Wii, the magic of the game was given by the control of the Wiimote, when it had its PC version, it also gave its practicality that the mouse helped when a control like the Wiimote was not available on PC (or could not be obtained)
Any game like Harvest Moon and/or Rune Factory, especially when you do the tasks of planting, harvesting and other similar tasks, helps much more than moving the cursor with the directional pads.
Oh wow!!, interesting those 'ghost' bundles, XD I hope we can have those missing MySims games on the Switch and/or Switch 2, and as someone mention here, by the name of one of those bundles, there probably could be a new MySims game, but well, it's EA we're talking about, but still, let's see what awaits us.
I enjoyed the announcement, if well, I was expecting another name, although using 2, well, maybe it was a bit simple, but it is effective in avoiding the incident with Wii 'U'.
Interesting the new addons, the teaser trailer for the new Mario Kart, and well, to wait for more explanation about of all new in this new console.
And I'm sorry for those who got carried away by the leaks and rumors, although I was also bombarded with that stuff all over the internet, I really ignored them as I've always said before, "Until an official announcement, everything else is irrelevant to me, even if it were true."
Happy New Year to everyone, I hope your good wishes for this year that begins can come true and you have a great time with family and friends.
And well, let's see what surprises this year has in store for us and as we know, the most anticipated is the Switch 2, and if there's one thing I've always recommended it's patience, it won't be long now and it's even better how Nintendo will present it to us.

If you only knew how high the collecting levels are with this Hot Wheels thing, $22 is cheap compared to others I've seen at official conventions.
Re: Fast & Furious: Arcade Port Cruises Onto Switch This October
Isn't it the game that came out back in early 2000? Because that game did have its port but for the Wii, and it was simply named Cruin's, without the Universal license for the Fast and the Furious movie.
Re: Atari To Acquire 'SteamWorld' Dev Thunderful
This Atari is far from the giant it was in the 70s and 80s. We mustn't forget that it's the French company "Infogrames," which, when it acquired all the rights to Atari's ashes, renamed itself Atari.
And more than a decade ago, it was bankrupt, but it managed to recover. Judging by some comments, it seems they're already improving, and I hope so, especially for the sake of having bought this developer.
Re: Pokémon Presents July 2025: Every Announcement, Full Livestream
For those asking about GB and GBA classics at NSO, I have a feeling they are saving it for next year since the next one, as is known and mentioned, is the 30th anniversary of Pokémon and therefore, for the surprises they want to give us that year, possibly that is why they have remained somewhat "silent" with the news, but well, that is my opinion.
Re: Pokémon Is Teasing Something Ahead Of Next Week's Showcase
@ThatOneLevel
Re: Pokémon Is Teasing Something Ahead Of Next Week's Showcase
@NinjaWaddleDee
I respect the opinions of others, because expressing an opinion is something we can all do.
Re: "That's Some Real Coward S***" - Hideki Kamiya Discusses The Fallout From The Bayonetta 3 Voiceover Controversy
Oh my...
Re: Sega Knows You Hate Mario Kart's Blue Shells
We all hate that shell when we're in first place, but we also love it when we're far behind, and that's because that's how Mario Kart is, it's random, it's fair and unfair at the same time, and it's complete chaos in every race, and that's what gives it its essence and its fame, without that, Mario Kart wouldn't be the same.
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@ArcticEcho
exactly as you say, it is a billion dollar franchise that needs a very strict control, but the main games are developed only by Game Freak, no matter how much money there is, if the Pokemon company does not give the necessary support and put the developments are short term, the games will continue to be rushed out with all the problems that this entails, and as always, Game Freak is the one who will pay the price, as seen in so many comments in anyplace, and not the Pokemon company, which as I repeat, they think is Game Freak's, which yes, it was created by them with Nintendo, but it is a "totally" independent company from both Nintendo and Game Freak.
In short words, if The Pokemon company want a new main Pokemon game NOW, Game Freak has to obey them, no questions.
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@Chips07
Easy, 2 answers:
*The Pokemon Company and its deadlines; I repeat, although the Pokemon Company was created, in part, by Game Freak, it is an independent company and therefore, they created their own boss.
*Fans wanting more Pokemon, and the Pokemon Company satisfying them because that way the momentum of increased sales of everything related to the franchise is maintained.
Well, this is something that has been repeated, but many still don't understand, or just want to be tied to thinking that Game Freak is the 'only' villain here...
Re: Game Freak's Upcoming Action RPG Looks Awesome, But Don't Expect It On Switch 2 Yet
@UnbreakableAlex @ArcticEcho
@Koda1000
The answer is obvious.
Re: Feature: "It Was Always About Surviving Together" - Why Konami Chose This Forgotten IP For Switch 2's Launch

Re: Rumour: A Nintendo Direct May Drop Around The Switch 2's Launch
Another rumor, well...; what's really something that wasn't even a rumor anymore is that:
https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2025/05/rumour-new-datamine-suggests-nintendo-isnt-done-with-mario-karts-mobile-entry-just-yet
And right now in the game, there's already news of an update for it, although as the news report says, it's just an update to the game system and minor bug fixes. Well, let's see if that's all it is.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Four More Titles
Survival kids?!!!
Yeyyyy!!!!
Re: Rumour: New Datamine Suggests Nintendo Isn't Done With Mario Kart's Mobile Entry Just Yet
Re: Full Game List Revealed For Atari's Upcoming Bubsy Collection
XD
Re: Nintendo Switch 2 First-Party File Sizes Are Surprisingly Small
That's what I've always liked about Nintendo, that they know how to optimize their games, even down to their size; that's what I'd like other developers to learn, because seriously, the space required in other games sometimes borders on excessive for what they contain.
Re: Hands On: Mario Kart World Brings The Utter Chaos In Knockout Mode
Oh, the Knockout GP, I remember that mode in games like F Zero or NFS, where frustration becomes greater as the race progresses and the risk of being in the last positions, one mistake and goodbye race...
I always expected this mode for Mario Kart, and well, it came true, XD
Re: Pokémon GO Promises It Won't Introduce "Intrusive Ads" Or Playtime Restrictions
@Cathalm
Exactly, in fact, Nintendo games on mobile devices, including Pokémon, none of them have had an ads system, although some do have a time-restricted system like Pokémon Masters, but as for invasive ads, absolutely none that I know of.
Re: Nintendo & Pokémon Company Had An "Adversarial Relationship", Say Former NOA Staffers
@SwitchplayerJohn
Re: Switch Emulator 'NxEmu' Is Back And Hopes To Avoid Nintendo's Wrath
@MysticX
Exactly, as mentioned, that is the real reason why many defend emulation of current consoles, playing free games and even profiting from it (piracy in short).
Re: Switch Emulator 'NxEmu' Is Back And Hopes To Avoid Nintendo's Wrath
No monetization (not even a penny), no using oficial updates from Nintendo for the original Switch, no link to unauthorized ROMs of Switch games; With that accomplished, it is more likely that Nintendo will no longer take it into account.
Re: 20 Years After Its Demise, Publisher 'Acclaim' Is Being Resurrected
Oh, wow, It is interesting to see how companies that have been extinct for a long time, but that made a name for themselves in their time, are revived; although this is difficult given how the industry has evolved and especially, for some, the not so pleasant history they had before going to a better life.
A few years ago, another company had returned, Accolade-, however, to this day, nothing is known about them and their new projects...
Re: Pokémon Champions Limited To "Select Pokémon" At Launch
@Araquanid
Re: The Pokémon Company Catches A Win In Lawsuit Against Another Rip-Off App
Unlike the case of Palworld where there is still intrigue as to why the lawsuit (they say patents, but they give the information in a "confusing" way that makes it doubtful and other factors already mentioned in other topics), this rip off game literally uses too much of Pokémon without modifying it, seriously, this one had very easy reasons for a lawsuit.
@Yosher
Money does not completely influence the quality of the game, it is more than obvious, the time they allow for its development, and seeing that it has been more than 1 year (almost 2) without anything new from Pokémon from the main series, one can think that they are giving it that time that Game Freak needed for to have a well developed game.
Re: Poll: With No Switch 2 News Until April, Is A February Nintendo Direct On The Cards?
Many saying it was 'meh' because they already knew, if they didn't know, the answer would be more varied (yes, there would be 'meh', but less like it was because of the leaks)
and now, haven't you suspected that the supposed Nintendo Direct that was supposed to have been at the end of the last year was never presented, and we only had random announcements on the official Nintendo accounts? Why wasn't there a Direct?, there could be several answers, but for me, one of them is what I mentioned, lack of interest if the public already seems to show a lack of interest just because many already got informed first through the leaks...
as I mentioned, it's my opinion, but That's what I see with this whole leak thing...
Re: Rumour: Another Xbox Game Could Be Racing Onto Switch 2, It's Claimed
If that rumor is true, wow, I would be impressed and excited, but well, first of all, it is a rumor and we just have to wait for its official confirmation.
@Zeebor15
I am not a big fan of the Microsoft company either, however, as I said before, I separate the company/people/politics/religion from the games because I want to play those games that I want and that make me enjoy; and in this case, games like Age of Empires and Forza motorsport/horizons are from Microsoft but they are also my favorites.
Re: Feature: Switch 2's Mouse Support Is Exciting, But Which Current Games Might Also Benefit?
Railway Empire 1 & 2, As the classic Railroad Tycoon series, and Cities Skylines, as it was with SimCity, the use of the mouse helps a lot for the games in general (Constructing a railway line, a road or highway network, an urban area or forest area, reshaping a plot of land and/or placing a building); So, with these games, and,
as well as the aforementioned Rollercoaster Tycoon, being more originally for PC with the use of mouse in mind, it is more than relatively obvious that if the Switch 2 has that functionality of having a mouse, then it would help with this kind of games
Re: Rumour: Removed EA App Listings Suggest More MySims Revivals Might Be On The Horizon
Oh wow!!, interesting those 'ghost' bundles, XD
I hope we can have those missing MySims games on the Switch and/or Switch 2, and as someone mention here, by the name of one of those bundles, there probably could be a new MySims game, but well, it's EA we're talking about, but still, let's see what awaits us.
Re: Poll: So, What Did You Think Of The Switch 2 Reveal?
I enjoyed the announcement, if well, I was expecting another name, although using 2, well, maybe it was a bit simple, but it is effective in avoiding the incident with Wii 'U'.
Interesting the new addons, the teaser trailer for the new Mario Kart, and well, to wait for more explanation about of all new in this new console.
And I'm sorry for those who got carried away by the leaks and rumors, although I was also bombarded with that stuff all over the internet, I really ignored them as I've always said before, "Until an official announcement, everything else is irrelevant to me, even if it were true."

Re: Editorial: A Very Happy New Year From Nintendo Life
Happy New Year to everyone, I hope your good wishes for this year that begins can come true and you have a great time with family and friends.
And well, let's see what surprises this year has in store for us and as we know, the most anticipated is the Switch 2, and if there's one thing I've always recommended it's patience, it won't be long now and it's even better how Nintendo will present it to us.
