Always in stock?, Seriously, need to check that detail, because i want some games that are digital only, but, yeah, online store is dead..., No buy available... Then, no, always available is not a positive point...
Also, instant buy?, Well, yes, is already a instant buy, but, no a instant play, because need to download and install the big game (and nowadays are GBs of data)...
I prefer physical, but any points also aren't positive nowadays:
"Less data to install", well, before, really was instant play, but now, need download data to play a game, sometimes, looks that is a digital game instead physical when was bought...
"Don't require credit card", well, before, there were many stores where buy those games, nowadays, many games are in stores that are online, and not all accept physical money...
It's good to know that Taito is still alive, well, It is true that it has been very silent in terms of games on consoles, but that its IPs are still valid under its name and that its retro games gradually reach the present day is something good to see.
I would mention Princess Peach, despite being a recurring and main character in the games, most of the main games she is just an NPC to be rescued or supported, very rarely with a usable character role, although sometimes Mario's shadow, and she only had her main Role in her own only game which was Super Princess Peach, which is a great game that seems almost very underrated, a hidden gem almost forgotten...
She deserves a year, along with the other princesses and girls (like Daisy, who already deserves a main game too), plus, in the incoming Mario movie, she's already given a personality that deserves to be checked.
More than 25 years going through Towns, Gym, special places, Pokemon Leagues; meeting lots of trainers, leaders, 4 elite, professors, researchers, unique characters, police officers and nurses; stopping plans of enemies, some quite dangerous and destructive, literally risking his life; And without forgetting all of his friends, rivals and Pokemon friends that many caught in a very interesting and unique way, and that despite the fact that some have not been able to continue with him, they are still there.
Yes, Ash and Pikachu have known a lot in their 25 years of travel and well, one day this would come and well yes, it was good while it lasted.
Since black and white, it was planned that Ash will no longer continue in the series, but in the end, it continued due to its popularity and the plans to lengthen the series (in fact, the first Pokémon movie should have been Ash's final chapter, that's how popular he's been for years).
His character and personality have been very pleasant to me, despite his details, however, it was fair that one day, his adventure should end at one point and the good thing was what he dreamed of from the beginning, to be the Master Pokemon.
As was mentioned, a new generation, new protagonists, we'll see what they prepare for us in the future.
@Mr_Gamecube
For me, I don't see the need for Game Freak to apologize, of course, they are the creators and developers of the franchise from the beginning and they have a responsibility in it, but, having pressure to develop each new game "annually", it is something that Nintendo and The Pokemon company should keep in mind; it's a lot of work and little time, besides there was no way to better support Game Freak, such as giving a second developer support, especially in graphics and performance, and more development time and not exaggerated deadlines.
There was already minimal improvement when the Diamond and Pearl Remakes were handed over to another developer, yeah, not a great job, but that was a first step in improving the franchise.
Let's look at it this way, they just launched violet and scarlet, but since now, they already have Gen 10 in the project, they must already have in mind the region, history and the new Pokémon that they will include in the game, however, violet and scarlet, as is tradition, they will have a 3rd version, or as it was since Shield and Sword, a DLC, that means, adding new history, new characters and more changes to the current game, and last but not least, if Legend Arceus, with the success that had, gives rise to a "sequel", who do you think will have to develop this new story, characters and place?, in addition to supporting small projects, especially the almost imminent remake of Black and White, hoping that another developer (and with already improved experience) do the job.
So, do you think that all this is not enough for that study, just as Nintendo and the Pokemon company treat it?
Really I loved this game, specially the characters..., But sadly, when games are as service or need internet connection for working, the day that they decide shutdown the servers, it's all..., Really this is worse that free to play and gacha mechanics because the game never will be play again in the future (only saved screenshos and gameplay videos for memories...), but sadly and ironic, free to play games are service games....
@EaglyTheKawaiiShika Game Freak is not only the main developer of the Pokémon games, because they are their creators from the beginning, neither Nintendo, nor Creatures and nor The Pokemon company (which is a creation of Nintendo and Game Freak to help in the administration of the brand) have control over the creation and development of the characters (Pokémon and humans), stories, settings and mechanics of the main games (and yes, still develop the graphics engine as well as the development of the game completely, really, too many work), remove Game Freak for What do you want, it is a risk since they know how the franchise's history is going, with another in its place at a high risk that may be worse than what many think it is right now.
What would be necessary, is that both Nintendo and TPC invest in a support developer for the graphic engine and visual development, and leave the complete work, without pressure, of characters, stories and mechanics to Game Freak.
I hope an update that let me to buy another potions and no only max potions, because many Pokemon mine are hurt and get potions in he Poke stops (gym specially) is very tired... Or, an update that includes any form of Pokemon center to heal Pokemon...
@Dramlin " It's fun to know that you are still making progress in the game when you aren't able to play..." I'm sorry, but I disagree in this...
The point of a game is that you achieve the goals with your effort and merit, not that a CPU does all the work for you, so that's not a video game anymore, it's exactly like people who say they played a video game just because Saw a gameplay on YouTube... or in an equivalent case, the typical joke of a person who exercises and it really is the butler who does that exercise and still, he says that he got tired...
It is understood that many of us do not have the time to play, but I don't see the point of playing video games if really don't play them...
@Pillowpants
Sadly there are games (legal games and yes, more on smart devices) that call themselves AFK because they simply do almost everything a player should do in the first place, play a game on their own.
Many people will say that because they don't have time for games or it saves them time, but then, what is a game now in the first place? (for them it would be the question)
Sim copter was really a great idea where "taking a ride" through your cities created in Sim City was a dream of many and with the theme of doing missions so that the game was not just a ride. Despite many details that the PC version had, that concept was very interesting at the time, something that would be seen in future versions of Sim City (even a version of Sim City for N64, exclusive in Japan, already included that idea of "taking a ride, well, walk" around your city)
It's no surprise that the game looks and plays well and is decent, since Eden games developed it. Although the lack of more content is a pity, but it is seen that Eden games can still develop good racing games.
"But with video games, it is the gaming experience that makes them compelling, so a movie that adheres to the story of a game will not necessarily be interesting. Moreover, people who have played the game will expect a movie experience that is faithful to their memories of the game, while those who have never played the game will expect a movie that is enjoyable as an independent piece of entertainment."
Well, from what I've seen about reviews/criticism of movies based on video games, that's the phrase that many agree on.
It's really making the problems (for her) even more serious...
It is understandable that she wants to show her dissatisfaction with the salary, however, asking for a boycott was the worst thing she could have done seeing that everything else seems to be going well.
Personally, $15,000 for the work that she could have completed doesn't seem bad to me, but, well..., I won't discuss this...; however, all this could have been avoided if she had only said: "No, thanks", she would have turned around and bye bye (refuse the job in another words); It was that simple and everything would have gone smoothly for everyone, but oh well...
I Would to mention to DHX media, with My little pony 4 generation, They showed what they are capable of, and there are more series in their catalog that also demonstrate their ability; Kirby and Animal Crossing are good options for them.
Zag Studios (Miraculous Lady bug and Zak Storm), and Man of action (Ben 10 and Generator Rex) are also good studio proposals with good capacity in my opinion.
Wow, 4000 usd for the work of a single game?, I know that what I will say is something unseemly, but she would have earned more than I earn for more than half a year of my salary; but, since I don't know how much a voice actor earns in a single job, and besides, I don't want to demerit her work, I won't say more, however...
I find a boycott attempt a little sad; ok, she has every right to protest something she doesn't like, that's totally understandable, but this would affect the work of her co-workers (the other voice actors), as well as the developers (programmers, artists, etc.) if something happens with the sales of the game.
The only thing I hope will happen is that those involved resolve this without reaching more serious problems.
As I said on another note, music is my everything (well, almost everything) for many things and videogames are no exception. For me, music adds a special touch to games, especially when used very appropriately for moments, events, atmosphere, etc. And personally, I prefer the "original" music for the video game and not licensed music, since, well, it's not bad, but it doesn't always fit the game in question if it's just for popularity...
My most favorite soundtracks are
-Pokemon (in general) -Need for Speed (classics 1994-2002) -Sim City (snes, 2000, 3000) -Mario Kart and F-Zero And of course, there are more but I'm not going to extend the list too much
Well, in games, like Dance Dance Revolution and Project Mirai/Diva, license music is common and well, I don't argue, if the music is good, it's very good, not for nothing these games are also in my favorites.
@HalloHerrNoob
Sorry, I respect personal opinions, it is that, I repeat it, I understand many people do not like this type of thing, this is normal and understandable and I know that it is normal to give an opinion about it and it is to be respected
however, I feel a lot of negativity for these things that I feel that it seems like a strong dislike to this and I even feel intolerant to this.
But that's fine, and I apologize for sounding rude, I'm just looking for there not to be too much negativity (it shouldn't be deleted, just lowered a little bit)
@HalloHerrNoob Because these games, in case many here haven't gotten it into their heads, are focused on the general public, especially children, and that's how they make their announcements, we have to understand it, we can't have a serious and intolerant attitude all the time They have always done it that way, we don't have to be selfish in that sense.
many will not like it, that is understandable, but is needed have to be respectful
Oh, only 1 of all my favorite soundtrack games?!!, Oh my ..
Well, ok, hard decision....., but, I got one:
"Viridian city", no matter what version it is, just the composition makes me feel so peaceful and the one i constantly have in my head. https://youtu.be/43rbMuaGsg8
Edit: Really my mind is constantly playing music of many games, music for me is almost all.
I'm sorry, you haven't answered my last question, ok, that's fine, no need to answer that question, however, I kindly ask you not to be rude to me, because, and I apologize for thinking so, but the way I You have answered me in the beginning and not answering my last question was something rude.
I noticed it like this because I see that you don't like my answer, either because I said something wrong or literally it wasn't to your liking; whatever it was, I am open to corrections, because I know that I can be mistaken, and if tell me what is my mistake, I investigate and I can accept the correction that you mention to me.
However, I did not see it that way in your answers me, and when you answered me the second time, you gave me guidelines so that I really understood that I would shut up and no longer give an opinion, and that is rude, and especially more by not answering my last question .
Ok, I'm not going to continue with this because I gave my point and that's all, however I ask you, if you don't like what I write, if it's for something wrong, go ahead, you can correct me, I repeat it, I'm open to trying to see the mistake and try to correct it; and if you don't want to help ok, you can ignore me, no problem, for that there is an option to ignore users, I have no problem if you ignore me, but I kindly ask you to be respectful with me, ok?
Next time you try to be rude to me, I'll use the report option, please, let's not get into a more serious problem.
Thank you for reading and understanding.
emulation is legal, yes, maybe yes, but as long as you have the original hardware and software, especially the recent ones, especially since you can resort to having backups (allowed but not authorized); if you have only the emulator of a recent console and you do not have the original console, they are automatically implying that you may be stealing a product, that is, you have and use something for free for not buying the original product and in case you have paid for emulator and roms of recent consoles , now yes, you are totally incurring in piracy, because these things are not legal copies (unauthorized in short) and therefore, you incur in a crime marked in the laws.
I'm not against the actor, since they are giving him an opportunity and it can be seen that he makes a good effort despite the fact that "currently" Mario doesn't sound like that.
However, if we remember something, Mario already had an official voice before the one we all know and it was in an official movie (and no, not the one from 1993), the one from the 1986 anime, which if you have seen and heard it, Mario had a voice that had nothing to do with the current one, but curiously if it has more resemblance to Patt's voice.
Very possibly this was the option why someone with that tone of voice was chosen and not the one he currently uses.
New character for placing very high rank position in the "ranked cup"? Oh my, really it's super complicate get too many points in the races and the opponents in the ranks can have great luck and/or character-car very upgrape
Ok, tomorrow really will be a busy day in news, first with this new Pokemon trailer, next, The reveal of new Need For Speed game of this year and for finish, the teaser of the Super Mario's movie. Something more?
@PikaPhantom Ah, the very know revenge mode in Bomberman, i would like that will include the super revenge, if you are defeated and in revenge, your KO an active opponent, you will take her/his place and continue in competition.
Pokemon Ranger is another spinoff that has potential, but, that was only left in 3 versions at the time of the 3rd and 4th generations; a new Pokemon Ranger should be well received.
Pokemon Rumble maybe is very simple, but is great and addictive, and with the new generations, and, well, new mechanics, also will be a great welcome back.
I have always said that it is better to separate games from other things (politics, especially), and I know that many have their opinions about, in this case, Tencent games, however, personally, I am not going to deprive myself of playing games that I like them just because the company that owns the game is (insert negative opinions here); simply because of that, I like them and I want to play them, besides that I am not cruel to the workers (developers) who worked for those good games, and if they are good games (without too many problems that prevent their enjoyment), why refuse
As an example, I don't like Microsoft, and I have my reasons, however, games like Forza Horizon and Age of Empires are reasons why my "hatred" of Microsoft shouldn't stop me from playing these great games.
@KayFiOS Really many, many of us want a new F-Zero, and more today that the Switch have great potential for a new entry; however, and unfortunately, that franchise had a super low profile of profits since its last entries, then, is complicated a new entry, but, however, things may change since that F-ZERO have years without a new entry and many people ask for it. If a F-Zero is coming in any future, we need that that new entry sell super B in their first weeks (and nothing of the idea of wait for a sale, that kill many the interest of any company in revive it again)
I started this game some months ago and really i liked, it's pity this decision, but, it isn't the first time that great games are closed very soon (Sailor Moon drops in 2 years of life...) Really i will miss some characters from this game... u.u,
Interesting, A good movie help to revive a franchise if it is make with good ideas, and a great adaptation. For example, Need For Speed the movie, well, It didn't win any prize, but, really was a example that a movie from a videogame that (originally) lack of history, done with good ideas, good focus and a good plot show a excellent option for enjoying.
@Vix
Although we know that companies have been "lazy" and "hasty" to have games made quickly, that responsibility is not entirely theirs, also, and sadly, we have caused them to do so.
Where before, people could wait for a game to be ready and complete by its release date, nowadays, people now prefer games just NOW, yes, NOW; games that are ready to play no matter if they are incomplete or with bugs, that they be playable, is what many people want and the mobile games market is where that has been pleased with so many shovelware games or even garbage, but, I repeat, it is what many people want and that "invoice" is received by the big companies that, unable to please impatient people or have complete and ready games, decide to use, "what has saved them", patches via internet download, that has allowed people to forgive that and continue making games like that, incomplete and flawed...
Now, the another problem is the gambling, and, in short answer, yes, people prefer much, gambling games, for this, there are many games with loot boxes...
the addictiveness of these games is really worrying....
@Waka_the_Prophet When I said Ignore the problem? I said separate topics, because there is enough of that in the world, I see it on TV and Internet news, in the newspaper, even in WhatsApp group messages, it is necessary to increase the drama for this in some calm and entertainment like video games?
And note, I am NOT ignoring the issues because I know them, I know them to death, my mind does not forget that there are so many problems on the planet and still here, they continue to show them to me, in a video game forum...
I'm not going to close my browser to see video game topics just because there is news of this kind, I've been on the Internet for years and my friend, this is nothing, Nothing.
If someone tell me I'm dramatic, look at their comments, they beat me and by a lot but well, continue with your frustration about what China and Tencent are doing.
@Anachronism For that, I said: "I know some" of these topics, but, seriously, "still" is needed worry "all the time" for this?
@RubyCarbuncle Don't worry, for me, it's good no involved in this kind of topics, at least, no in this "video games" webpage, here is for fun, no for more worries...
@Anachronism
Economy invasion? It's all about?
Thanks to those ****** economies ideologics we have a sad world with environment problems, society problems and a long etc.
And before that anyone tell me that I don't know nothing, I, I know some of all this, but, I prefer, at least, in this "video games and entertainment" web page, talk about video games and entertainment .
I don't want talk more about of problems, I want a moment of enjoyment.
Seriously people, separate Government problems from Video games, we (or, at least, Me), don't need see sadness in video games, is entertainment, no drama or problems, please.
Interesting, however, in his post (and images), nothing, absolutely no nothing is referring to Super Mario Land, is more as Super Mario 3D Land with Super Mario 2/USA and some of Mario & Luigi games (or, Super Paper Mario, but with Mario & Luigi style) in 2D.
Interesting that new contenders try to console gaming industry, but, cloud gaming still is "Not" a, really, a good option...
Some remember Stadia platform gaming?...

For me, music adds a special touch to games, especially when used very appropriately for moments, events, atmosphere, etc.
And personally, I prefer the "original" music for the video game and not licensed music, since, well, it's not bad, but it doesn't always fit the game in question if it's just for popularity...
My most favorite soundtracks are
-Pokemon (in general)
-Need for Speed (classics 1994-2002)
-Sim City (snes, 2000, 3000)
-Mario Kart and F-Zero
And of course, there are more but I'm not going to extend the list too much
Well, in games, like Dance Dance Revolution and Project Mirai/Diva, license music is common and well, I don't argue, if the music is good, it's very good, not for nothing these games are also in my favorites.
Re: Meet Iono, The Electric-Type Gym Leader From Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
@HalloHerrNoob
Re: Meet Iono, The Electric-Type Gym Leader From Pokémon Scarlet And Violet
@HalloHerrNoob
Because these games, in case many here haven't gotten it into their heads, are focused on the general public, especially children, and that's how they make their announcements, we have to understand it, we can't have a serious and intolerant attitude all the time They have always done it that way, we don't have to be selfish in that sense.
many will not like it, that is understandable, but is needed have to be respectful
Re: Talking Point: What's Your Favourite Music Track From A Nintendo Game?
Oh, only 1 of all my favorite soundtrack games?!!, Oh my ..
Well, ok, hard decision....., but, I got one:
"Viridian city", no matter what version it is, just the composition makes me feel so peaceful and the one i constantly have in my head.
https://youtu.be/43rbMuaGsg8
Edit: Really my mind is constantly playing music of many games, music for me is almost all.
Re: Random: Valve's Latest Steam Deck Trailer Briefly Shows A Switch Emulator
@Astral-Grain
Re: Random: Valve's Latest Steam Deck Trailer Briefly Shows A Switch Emulator
@Astral-Grain
"Not at all"
Why?, explain me why.
Re: Random: Valve's Latest Steam Deck Trailer Briefly Shows A Switch Emulator
@Astral-Grain
Then, I have no right to comment here?, tell me
Re: Random: Valve's Latest Steam Deck Trailer Briefly Shows A Switch Emulator
emulation is legal, yes, maybe yes, but as long as you have the original hardware and software, especially the recent ones, especially since you can resort to having backups (allowed but not authorized); if you have only the emulator of a recent console and you do not have the original console, they are automatically implying that you may be stealing a product, that is, you have and use something for free for not buying the original product and in case you have paid for emulator and roms of recent consoles , now yes, you are totally incurring in piracy, because these things are not legal copies (unauthorized in short) and therefore, you incur in a crime marked in the laws.
Re: Poll: What Do You Think Of Mario's Movie Voice?
I'm not against the actor, since they are giving him an opportunity and it can be seen that he makes a good effort despite the fact that "currently" Mario doesn't sound like that.
However, if we remember something, Mario already had an official voice before the one we all know and it was in an official movie (and no, not the one from 1993), the one from the 1986 anime, which if you have seen and heard it, Mario had a voice that had nothing to do with the current one, but curiously if it has more resemblance to Patt's voice.
Very possibly this was the option why someone with that tone of voice was chosen and not the one he currently uses.

Re: Nintendo Survey Asks Fans What Pokémon Games & Spin-Offs They Want
Pokemon Ranger is another spinoff that has potential, but, that was only left in 3 versions at the time of the 3rd and 4th generations; a new Pokemon Ranger should be well received.
Pokemon Rumble maybe is very simple, but is great and addictive, and with the new generations, and, well, new mechanics, also will be a great welcome back.
Re: Pokémon Unite's Next Batch Of Playable Pokémon Revealed In New Datamine
@Deezy340
Re: Nintendo Shares "Thank You" Message And End Credits For Dragalia Lost
I will miss to those great characters (Notte) and beautiful music...
I also join the idea that this game should return as a full, premium game for the Switch, it doesn't deserve to be 'lost' or forgotten...
Re: Random: Miyamoto Had Some Sage Advice On Game Industry Success In 1989
@KayFiOS
Really many, many of us want a new F-Zero, and more today that the Switch have great potential for a new entry; however, and unfortunately, that franchise had a super low profile of profits since its last entries, then, is complicated a new entry, but, however, things may change since that F-ZERO have years without a new entry and many people ask for it.
If a F-Zero is coming in any future, we need that that new entry sell super B in their first weeks (and nothing of the idea of wait for a sale, that kill many the interest of any company in revive it again)
Re: Nintendo Announces End Date For Dragalia Lost
I started this game some months ago and really i liked, it's pity this decision, but, it isn't the first time that great games are closed very soon (Sailor Moon drops in 2 years of life...)
Really i will miss some characters from this game... u.u,
Re: Sega Announces Space Channel 5 And Comix Zone Movies
Interesting, A good movie help to revive a franchise if it is make with good ideas, and a great adaptation.
For example, Need For Speed the movie, well, It didn't win any prize, but, really was a example that a movie from a videogame that (originally) lack of history, done with good ideas, good focus and a good plot show a excellent option for enjoying.
Re: Sega's Financial Results Bolstered By Sonic Origins And Pachinko Machines
@Vix
Re: Tencent Is Seeking A Bigger Stake In 'Mario + Rabbids' Publisher Ubisoft
@Waka_the_Prophet
When I said Ignore the problem?
Re: Tencent Is Seeking A Bigger Stake In 'Mario + Rabbids' Publisher Ubisoft
@Anachronism
For that, I said: "I know some" of these topics, but, seriously, "still" is needed worry "all the time" for this?
@RubyCarbuncle
Don't worry, for me, it's good no involved in this kind of topics, at least, no in this "video games" webpage, here is for fun, no for more worries...
Re: Tencent Is Seeking A Bigger Stake In 'Mario + Rabbids' Publisher Ubisoft
@Anachronism
Re: Tencent Is Seeking A Bigger Stake In 'Mario + Rabbids' Publisher Ubisoft
Seriously people, separate Government problems from Video games, we (or, at least, Me), don't need see sadness in video games, is entertainment, no drama or problems, please.
Re: Random: Pixel Artist Reimagines Super Mario Land Series For Game Boy Advance
Re: Logitech And Tencent Games Are Working On A Cloud-Based Handheld Console
Interesting that new contenders try to console gaming industry, but, cloud gaming still is "Not" a, really, a good option...
