Well, that chart is curious, first, Apple and Google, speaking of "only Game Revenues", they can't stay there, because they don't have ("many") own games (including their game platforms, they are "low" or "new") , but, if we speak about the platforms system shops (iShop and Google play), well, it's true, However, where will be Valve's Steam?
6/10?, well, they gave that score, but, as I repeated in many times before, I don't care, because, I don't need a review and score to play, enjoy videogame, only I need my myself.
Yes, a review may support to know details interesting, but, no decide if I choose or don't that game
@Fizza
I don't understand the why exists "bad" and "good" tastes?, is really needed critize the preferences only for if likes or no likes "bad" o "good" things?
Oh my....
I believe that many of those who criticize Pokémon Unite for monetization have no idea about the game or are only criticizing to criticize.
It is true that it is a free to play, however, so far, FAR, all the available Pokémon can be obtained without spending a penny, none!!, and also the objects for battles, all can be obtained without spending anything of money, all it takes is time and patience.
Of course, the real money expense goes for the character's clothing (good looking) and the Pokémon's holowear, however, that is not mandatory to play the game, and if it is required to rank, many people have achieved a better ranking without the need for a holowear.
In short, Pokémon unite is by far, A LOT, one of the few that has monetary predation.
@Anti-Matter
I believe that Nintendo really know almost every fan games projects that exist in the world, but the "why" some are targeted quickly and others looks as ignored, that is really the question here.
If this is yes, really I will upgrape my subscription, really I miss this classic connectivity between Mario Golf and Mario Tennis in their N64 and GBC versions and play with the "guest" characters, unlock unique things and more, also, the connection between Pokémon Stadium's and Main Pokémon GB games.
the irony of hate, the more they hate it, the more fame it has, in other words, on their face haters.
Well, Congratulations on the success of this game, the truth is that I had no interest because the type of game, which is not to my liking (it's not hate, in case you think so), however, it really convinced me and I enjoy it a lot, well, in a "calm" way.
@valharian In some cases, some simple is better, and this game is not necessary that complexity, everyone can play without problems
Oh my, my, my, my!!, Yay, yay yay, This is Great!!!!
This game franchise deserve more support, however, for now, have this game here in the west is a nice start, well, really there are oficial game compilations that include this game, but recently and more, in portable, until today/soon
I enjoyed this title in its time, and really was a great game that still I want to play it again.
This title was a great change to the franchise, and no only because the Double players in kart, also, another changes that today are part:
No repeat race if you arrives in 5th or lower, and, therefore, continuing the cup, even with 0 points!!
Bye items if lightning, or blue shell KO to you, then, can you lose defense and easily lose positions.
With the graphics improved, the characters have more personality, and, well, this, and for the moment, the only version where every character have a lot of voice lines, especially, arriving to the goal.
Mobile games can be good and interesting if the developers do the right job, however, the mobile market is currently stronger for offering games as a service and not as a full game (super mario run is the example ) and it is obvious, a game that is always online and updated periodically will generate (almost often) more profits than a complete game, however, it is a game that must be constantly maintained and therefore, it generates expenses and therefore, some day the inevitable will happen and goodbye game...
With Dragalia lost, it's not the first game that I'm sad to see "goodbye", I've already seen good games end, even though they had a lot to offer (Sailor Moon drops is another example); and the saddest thing is the fact that the game celebrated its anniversary and that is its gift, a final farewell...
Sadly, Business is Business..., but it would be good if those games that have been discontinued have a chance to be remembered for future generations and better still, if they continue to keep going!
For me, this was surprising and sad, I recently started this game by finding a way to play region-locked games mobiles; and the game seemed very good and beautiful to me, and researching about characters, many of them seem pleasant to me, which is a pity that there will not be more of them in the future...
And still more sadness, the game is celebrating its 3 anniversary.., what a gift for this game....
Well, it's no old, but it is in Wii U, I refer to Super Mario 3D World, specially for new levels and more characters, however, if in future, there'll be 3D World 2, well, is better option
New racing games are always welcome ^^ , however, I hope for games that include civil traffic as the classic obstacles in races, more racing modes and, maybe, hot pursuit racing.
Sadnesses; Taito was a great developer, along side with Namco and Sega, really they developed many, many games that were great in 70's, 80's, and still in 90's, I could say, they were ahead to their time, but, Nowadays...
Great!
However...,
When a full support for Latin America?, No support for fix consoles (yes, is still a nightmare with the joycon drift...)..., Games distribution by third parties that sometimes, abuse the price o no total distribution..., And no all Latin American countries have eShop with local currency...
@Ventilator
"Nobody release AAA games in phones"
Ok Then, the GTAs games in phones aren't AAA games?
Mobile games have bad reputation?, Ok, I repeat, here almost everybody assume that mobile games are bad because many games with bad business models "proliferate" the market, but is really correct "demonize" All games by thoses games? It's very unfair and shows lack of many people know really some of those games.
Controls, well, here is more personally of every one, because, someones can play very well in tactil screen and others no.
I have played any games (same game) in PC keyboard, console controller and in tactil screen and I played it without problems.
Seriously, the hate for mobile games is exaggerated, very exaggerated! In First instance, no all mobile games are gatcha, pay to win or with abusive micro transactions, and any of them are really great games. Seriously, before of judge a game by it cover, well, origin/port, really it's better check it, as a good consumer, it's correct check and judge that judge and give a incorrect opinion.
Yes, in the price, I accept that if it's some high, it's better a price reduction, but, please, no are exaggerating with very, very low price or with free game.
For me, through that Pokemon Back will be free in 2023 is a great news, the real news is the end of 3DS and Wii U eShops! Just as I said in other moment, online/digital games are bad for this: preservation and play them anytime...
Cloud games and ever online games, for me, are the worst for the gaming in general (and the game preservation), especially, if in any future, if someone wants play these games, very possibly, never will play them because the server doesn't exist anymore or the company...

Yes, is a retail "full" game, with micro transactions....

Excuse my complaint, but seriously, many sad things in the world, to sour something good like this Direct that was very good
In this cases is when really it's needed to a "tsunami" of feedbacks to Konami's social media counts (twitter, youtube) and explain them (obviously in correct way, no disrespect) that NFTs for nothing work as a preservation medium, it's totally awful and really is more a death's sentence for its IPs.

The discontent with NFTs is understandable, obviously they are quite nonsense things as a business model... However, it is somewhat exaggerated to act against those who join this nonsense, but, well...
@DTFaux
"I'm more taking the stance that we should voice our disapproval and wariness early on..."
This, +1, it's better that we give them a "feedback" (respectfully and direct, ah, and constantly!) and that they understand that things as NFT are not great and really, in a future, will hurt the videogames, the entertainment for all and their reputation (and of course, its economy).
@DTFaux Do you think I'm careless or that I'm not interested in this? It's not that, I just don't give it the great importance that others give it, I'm not pressing the panic button to affect my love of video games. I know what this is, and I know the problems of other things you mention, but I can't be living in "dramas" for something that "for the moment" is nonsense and for me, I don't see it as a problem, yes, NFTs are nonsense and abuse, but not harmful (at the moment) to many of us. I will not stop playing games from companies that support this nonsense, if it does not affect my economy and my fun, for example, if team 17 released a new game, and there is no negative from NFT and the game is good, why act like others here and say that I won't buy anything because they supporting the NFT? If don't affects me, why deprive me of playing something I want? That's what I mean by "drama". I understand the situation and, sometimes, constantly inform me, but I don't see the NFTs as the new monster that affects as the loot boxes, I see it as something temporary.
However, as I (and you) mentioned in the previous post, new business models can be counterproductive, and I would really, really like that if anyone knows (without panicking, be objective, not be someone who says they are a danger just because yes), as NFTs can affect me ""currently"" and in the future to enjoy playing video games, it is welcome and I am willing to understand this a little more.
