Re: Team17 Is Jumping On The NFT Train With 'MetaWorms'

SakuraHaruka

@DTFaux
"But why do we have to put up with being slapped?"
Ok, I tell you this example concept, imagine a person trying to open the door of a car without keys everyone who sees him will think that he is a thief very obviously, however, if that person is the owner who lost the keys and who is in a hurry that a locksmith cannot wait, what do you think is the scenario with what I quote you?, that "someone or someones" will hurt that person because they are fed up with crime that they do not ask first if he/she is or is not the owner of the car.

I know that we should be prudent, and take caution, but it is not necessary to "start a fight", because then we would be the one who loses the conflict.

Now, as I have mentioned several times, I am not in favor of NFTs, I consider them somewhat ridiculous, abusive attitude on the part of the seller and careless attitude on the part of the buyer, but what about us? This problem is only a matter of those 2 parties , and something so silly that the truth is, I don't see a future for it, but as always, the internet and unnecessary attention gives publicity to NFTs, plain and simple. For example, if a company tries to sell me an image like NFT, and offers me "even with flowers" the good thing about having it (like Ubisoft, well, not like that, XD ), I would reject it, it doesn't make sense to pay a lot for an image and that I can save it on my device for free, seriously, and with the comments we see, how many people would fall into that trap? Very, very few, and to the sellers, they would obviously look quite abusive and their reputation would not help them.
As simple and silly as this NFT thing is, it's not worth losing your mind over this trend.

Now, what would happen if by any chance, that would affect playing video games? Easy, at that moment, well yes, I would give my feedback and reject playing something that is no longer worth it, but in the meantime, I will not lose my peace of mind and my passion for video games because of this trend that is worth nothing, nor should we publicize it and better let it be forgotten, but, well, that's my opinion and from my part, I don't worry about that silly trend.

Re: Team17 Is Jumping On The NFT Train With 'MetaWorms'

SakuraHaruka

@DTFaux

yes, something that generates income in an unpleasant way can be counterproductive, however, in video games, I don't see NFTs worse than loot boxes, or worse, "always online games", the latter are literally examples of games that once their life time ends, they will be unplayable forever, in short, games that will not be yours even if you have spent huge sums of money, this is already handled even in games that someone has paid $60, so this is more horrible than a NFT

Re: Team17 Is Jumping On The NFT Train With 'MetaWorms'

SakuraHaruka

@Dingelhopper and to all: and if all video game companies joined the NFT, would you sacrifice your entertainment for video games and your favorite franchises for something that at the moment does not affect video game development and from what I see, nor you economically?
Really?

Edit:
Well, it's your decision, but, I personally, I don't see it as a big deal, yes, it's nonsense and something unnecessary, but I repeat, it makes a mess to develop and play video games? Is it worse than loot boxes/gatcha? I didn't even know about NFTs until I saw all those Recent reports, however, and I repeat, I have not seen a harm, for me, to enjoy video games.

Re: Team17 Is Jumping On The NFT Train With 'MetaWorms'

SakuraHaruka

@NightBeast
+1
I know that NFTs are nonsense and easy money for sellers, but for the moment, and apparently, it doesn't even affect video games, it doesn't support sellers' reputation and it's a huge waste of money for those who buy those things that can be obtained for free somewhere; so as you mention, as long as these companies make good games as they should still be, there is nothing to worry about, unless you worry about the unwary people who buy the NFTs and those who follow the tendency.

Re: First Activision, Now EA? FIFA Publisher Is Tipped For Takeover

SakuraHaruka

@anoyonmus
well, really Need For Speed has never been a bad franchise, if it has had its details, such as NFS 2015 (and the permanent online) and NFS Payback (loot boxes), however, in my personal opinion, another great detail is the fact that NFS has never stayed in one "format", that is, we went from Simulator, to arcade street racing, to Hollywood style racing and originally it was more about cars and tracks (my favorite versions), but, well, with so much change of developers, the franchise has always suffered from that;, and I emphasize, this last one is my personal opinion.

Re: First Activision, Now EA? FIFA Publisher Is Tipped For Takeover

SakuraHaruka

From EA, the only franchises that interest me are Need For Speed, Burnout, Sim City and The Sims (My sims).
however, and as we all know, EA has not done the right thing to make those franchises shine and worse, it leaves them forgotten if they don't work as they want (not to mention the disasters that are added to it like pay to win, loot boxes, forever online game, etc, etc), adding the annihilation of the developers who buy if they do not achieve their goal; therefore, whoever buys EA is buying a blank canvas stained with "sadness"

Re: Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard, Now Owns Call Of Duty And Crash Bandicoot

SakuraHaruka

I checked my calendar if today was April 1st, but no, oh wow, Microsoft really wants return to Monopoly, they didn't understand the last time when they were fined and punished by just this, monopoly!, But, oh well....

Therefore, from Activision-Blizzard, the only IP that I am interested is Overwatch (and one old (well, no much old) racing game named Blur), then, well.

Re: Gallery: Nintendo Shares More Screenshots Of Pokémon Legends: Arceus For Switch

SakuraHaruka

@NintendoArchive
And there were also very good games and they didn't get to use 100% of the Wii or NDS hardware.
Here for many the pretext of the graphics is more to continue with the "nonsense" of annoying for something that they should already leave behind; They seriously give too much importance to the graphics than to the gameplay, and do not say that if they care about the gameplay, because all the complaints and whining is about the graphics, everything about the graphics (just looking at the comments says it all) , and sorry for saying it, but I thought that the "graphic whores" were the most dramatic for this ...

Also, I don't see the big significant difference in graphics with these games, but, well ...

I better leave this because there is no remedy for these discussions ...

Re: Gallery: Nintendo Shares More Screenshots Of Pokémon Legends: Arceus For Switch

SakuraHaruka

@wolvesboy
Remembering that during the era of Wii, many people made fun of their games for their graphics, especially the 'fans' of other consoles, but many defended Wii games for what is more important in a game, the gameplay and the fun; something that many of those games had despite the graphics, and even in the games on the NDS and 3DS when it was the comparison with the PSP and Vita; It is true that the visual graphics support a lot to be more detailed, but the Gameplay is what makes the game, the game.

Now, ironically, a lot of people with this game (and it's not the only one too) are acting like those people who made fun of the Wii and NDS games, and don't say it's not true because the comments say it all, but, oh well ...

Re: Video: Pokémon Legends: Arceus Gets Three New Commercials

SakuraHaruka

Many say they wait for the Review to find out if they will buy and enjoy the game, but we must not forget that sometimes, the Review is used only to promote a game in a very bad way (either giving it more value than it is worth or despising it. Without justification); therefore I do not recommend relying on a Review totally, also, we all have our judgment, we do not condition our enjoyment by what other people say (even if they are specialized), but, oh well.., it is your decision, "do what you want" ...

For my part, with what I saw, I see a good game and I know I will enjoy it, therefore, what they say in the Reviews, I will not be interested at all.

Re: Rumour: Epic Universe Theme Park Construction Has Some Dreaming Of A Pokémon Land

SakuraHaruka

@RiderSkyward
And again with that that Game Freak is to blame for everything, seriously, this is sick ...
Game Freak is the one that designs the story and characters (and obviously, Pokemon) to the franchise (that is, only the main games), hence, nothing to do with spin-offs (if Legends is considered spin off, well, then...) , animations, comics, parks, etc, etc. For that is the Pokémon company and mainly, Nintendo.

Re: Bill Gates Apparently Put "A Lot Of Pressure" On Xbox's Team Leaders To Respond To The Wii Craze

SakuraHaruka

@EVIL-C
Ha Ha, What a nice joke;
Anyway, the Kinect was not rubbish, it simply had the bad luck of being developed to take advantage of the "boom" of the motion controls and not be used as it should be, and unfortunately, be abandoned without looking for more potential and only used in basic games.
And it is that if it had great potential, it could have been a great rival for Nintendo's Wii mote and could have changed the industry somewhat, but as I mentioned, it was not like that and it was forgotten.
However, the technology of the Kinect is used today in many devices in an interesting way, something that Microsoft missed ...

Re: Random: Nintendo Has Already Let One Celebrity Play Pokémon Legends: Arceus

SakuraHaruka

@Bratwurst35
What you say is true, however, recently with so many "sad" things outside of video games (pandemic at most), so that the recent problems in video games are magnified in such a way that there is negativity for things without necessity of negativism...

Well, in short, there is already too much negativity and sometimes for nothing (and very unfair for many and sometimes, very annoying..., really)

Re: Random: Nintendo Has Already Let One Celebrity Play Pokémon Legends: Arceus

SakuraHaruka

@ModdedInkling
Even knowing that Game Freak was not entirely responsible for the state of Pokemon, I still wonder why this "aggressive" attitude towards them? Seriously, that resentment is bad, seriously, very bad.

And I say it because seriously, are you going to enjoy the game? Just because you are "waiting" for a bad result instead of thinking positive and enjoying a game as it should be, for fun.

@Zeldawakening
the internet can have accurate comments, ideas and opinions when made with the mind (and heart) in peace and responsibility; but unfortunately, there will always be the dark side when just to annoy and disperse hatred of something the dramas and whining that are seen every day are made ...

and this game does not deserve that contempt, despite the topics about Tencent and games of this type, the game itself is entertaining, for all audiences and is "free" (if you want)

Re: Talking Point: Should The Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Library Expand Faster?

SakuraHaruka

Leaving aside the whining and the drama generated by these topics, in my opinion, it is not a very good idea to constantly update something, in this case games and services, because with each new addition in each update, little by little new ideas are diminished for add something new and thus, reach the point that there will be no news and will slowly tend to lose "momentum" and therefore, a premature end.
Although of course, not an update every time "an eclipse occurs", since it does not help to retain players and they will despair for something new.
The important thing is to add things calmly, without pressure, but at the same time, well planned and patience; the latter, above all things and for EVERYONE!

Re: GTA Trilogy's Physical Edition For Switch Has Been Delayed, Will Now Arrive In "Early 2022"

SakuraHaruka

Despite the pessimism (lately very common around here ...) that has been had by these games, for me, I feel that the delay is good news, since, in addition to the fact that the game (s) will be available for Switch in format physical without using much of the memory of the console (or SD), very possibly it will be fixed of all those failures ^. ^
Well, we'll just have to wait a little longer.

Re: Mini Review: Dr. Mario 64 - Diagnosis: A Bit Rubbish

SakuraHaruka

I had already read the regulations of their reviews for a long time, and they mention that in a certain way, they are subjective.
However, recently, many of their reviews have fallen on a fairly strict or rather negative level, and in certain cases it is understood, but that negativity is seriously very toxic and deplorable, sad that toxicity has contaminated the internet too much and especially you ...

Re: Gallery: Nintendo Reflects On Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Ahead Of The Final Fighter Reveal

SakuraHaruka

It has been a long road with this franchise, starting with the most iconic of Nintendo going through including the most famous and iconic of other rival companies, of course, there are still many, many, but even so, the rooster has been quite extensive to just be the reason why this latest smash, not for nothing, is called "Ultimate"

Now, here come the last character, who is?, Well, only to wait.
But, please staff of Nintendo Life, don't ruin the surprise, if appear the rumour, leak, spoiler, accident or anything that reveal the last character, please don't comment or minimun, mark the spoilers very high.

Re: Nintendo 64 And Sega Genesis 'Expansion Pack' Announced For Switch Online, Launches This October

SakuraHaruka

Leaving aside certain things that I do not want to mention, Really I am interested in this expansion, more than anything because, in addition to playing the N64 games again, I will be able to play those of the Sega Genesis that I did not play at the time, and how it was With those of the NES and SNES, there will be some with additions such as online, I wonder if MK64 will include online or Tennis, and then there will be even more titles in the future, not only those already mentioned, we just have to wait.

Even though I'm still waiting for my Test Drive 2 and Sim City for the SNES, oh well, to keep waiting ...

Oh my, more drama, now for a Kirby "Land" (Open world) in total 3D?!, seriously people, is very worrying this, but, oh well..., is internet, other day more.

...

Ok, Leaving aside that drama, I am interested in this Kirby, just with that entrance trailer it draws a lot of attention, we will have to wait for more videos and more info to know what this new adventure is about; and, very intriguing that world where Kirby is

It will not be rather, because, as it is a movie, and here there will be many dialogues by Mario, even Shigero himself said it; And Charles, I am not saying that he has no experience or that he cannot, however, that he maintains Mario's voice for a lot of dialogue, I don't know if it is feasible for him

@Tim_Vreeland
Interesting, because really many, many people forget that, and because, if we remember correctly, The Sword and Shield games "incident", for GAME FREAK, according to many, ""many"" fans, were the only responsible (And do not say no, because literally in many comments all over the internet, wished the worst for Game Freak "only". ), but no Nintendo nor Pokemon Company, they were "innocent" here, oh well....
