Re: A New Trailer For Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Is Airing Later Today

SakuraHaruka

I think I am one of the few people who is calm and happy to see more information about the expansion of this game, yes, it is 6 years old, but it is worth playing it "again" and more on a "portable".

I do not want to comment on the attitude of the people who have commented here, because I do not want to say something unpleasant, but the truth, what despair of many for a Direct, or for "receive" for a small trailer! and believe me that I also want to see something else, but seriously, Is this "desperate child for Christmas" attitude necessary?

Re: Ex-Halo Composer 'Would Love' To Work With Nintendo If Master Chief Joins Smash Ultimate

SakuraHaruka

I don't know if Master Chief came to Smash, especially when a Microsoft representative is already in Smash, although Minecraft was originally an indie game, but, well, that will already be a decision (or was already a decision) of those involved.
On the other hand, if there is already a representative of a Nintendo "Rival" in Smash, in my opinion, another "Rival" could have representation, yes, I am talking about Sony, and my proposal would be Kat from Gravity Rush, especially for her skills of battle and in my opinion, she deserves a chance for her game; but, well, I repeat, "that is not in my hands".

I hope that Hamster may with any classic puzzles from Taito: The Puzzle Bubbles series, Cleopatra Fortune and Puchi Carat are my wishes.
Also, It could be the possibility that some Arcade games from the mid 90's and early 2000's might be on Switch?, There are many games that I would like to play and remember: Cruin's series, Cleopatra Fortune 2

Re: Nintendo Cancels Splatoon 2 NA Open Livestream, "Free Melee" Believed To Have Played A Part

SakuraHaruka

It's a shame, but more than it embarrasses me, but I'm used to it because it's "business as usual."

>Nintendo, as always, with strange attitudes but in some cases understandable and in others, well, I better not think, because it has already been discussed and I don't want to discuss it anymore.
>Fans, since the internet gives them "more freedom", when it is correct to give opinions and protest for something fair, there is a moment when fans become a real pain, not only for the company, but for other fans And worst of all, they think they know, but it is not always like that.

But, ..., oh well, keep up the same old drama, it's the only thing that seems to be more interesting than the games ...

Re: Review: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - A Racer From A More Innocent Time

SakuraHaruka

As I have repeated on other occasions, I really would like them to do a remaster or remake of the classic NFS (1994-2002); and the reasons, which I have already said on occasions, here I mention them again and emphasize:

  • Variety of vehicles of all existing brands
  • Variety of tracks / circuits anywhere you can run, not just in "small" cities
  • A lot of "Replay Value", that is, as I mentioned in my previous post (the top one), the ability to have more life in the game, especially for one player, and why not, they had local multiplayer.
  • True Soundtrack, those games had unique songs from the game, really excellent, no licenses, well, in the latest versions of the classics there were already licenses, but they were worth it.
  • Inner camera, seriously, many arcade racing games out there today, and the inner camera seems to be exclusively for Sim games.
  • Detailed information of the vehicles and the scenarios / tracks
  • (Personal opinion), they really were Need For speed, and I would say why, but I have already extended this post.

Re: Review: Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered - A Racer From A More Innocent Time

SakuraHaruka

Great game really, ^^ however, far, very far from being very good like the classics (1994 - 2002 for me), yes, the classics lacked things (limitations in its time), but the option of quick races and modifiable races to the player's taste (choose your car and tracks without limitations, choose rivals, with or without civil traffic, with or without police and choose the game modes), customize the tracks / circuits (day, night, rain, in reverse, in mirror and all this mix); that and more, they gave more useful life to these games!!
Now it is simply to finish them and play only online ...

Re: Soapbox: Here's How I'd Fix The Pokémon Series

SakuraHaruka

@graysoncharles

That is the most correct, that the decision, both Game Freak and Nintendo to receive support for another developer to do the work of making the games, is unanimous.
Of course, yes, Game Freak would not be out of the game, they are the ones who would continue to implement the characters, creatures, worlds and stories in future games; well, they are "the creators".

Re: Soapbox: Here's How I'd Fix The Pokémon Series

SakuraHaruka

@graysoncharles
1-In that, Nintendo is also responsible, since as we remember, the franchise belongs to both Game Freak and Nintendo, so that decision is not only GF.
2-I have no opinion here
3-For me, it is cruel that a developer does not give its the opportunity to make other games just because its "Star" game is the only thing that many people want the focus, but that is not the worst, no, Is, that is when people then say if that is what they only know how to do, right?
4-Here I cannot criticize the programmers or your opinion, since the game is not very badly programmed if we refer to a game full of bugs as it was in its first games (red & green), but I know that there are still bugs or other details.
5-For me it is good to experience something so that the game is "Exactly the same", minimum, the mechanics (broken or well done) give more life to the game and also give interest to the ideas that they put in "the history" of the "Pokemon world"
6-No discussion, but also Nintendo, its online is still somewhat painful ...
7-That would be the right thing to do if the game did not belong to GF, but it is a game "CREATED and developed" by GF, so no; However, it is best that Nintendo takes responsibility by giving GF a more "useful" support to be able to develop the games, that is, by giving them a very competent support developer.

Re: Soapbox: Here's How I'd Fix The Pokémon Series

SakuraHaruka

@mariomaster96

NO!
In the first instance, Game Freak are the owners, creators of the Pokemon franchise and they are the ones who create the characters and creatures, settings, history and mechanics of the game, no other developer could use that package; but I do not deny that with another "support" developer I would help to improve many things in development.
And enough of "blame" to game Freak, do not forget that Nintendo and the Pokemon company also have responsibility and for me, one thing they must fix for Pokemon games is that Nintendo leaves them more time for game development and allow Game Freak to correctly develop the games; In the last generations it has been seen as realtively every year there is a new game of the main line, to such a degree that the generations last 3 or less years than before, and I mention it, because of how interesting that when Pokemon had to be ready to the launch, another game if it was given more opportunity for further development (Animal Crossing) when its release date was closer to Pokemon, and the result is very conclusive; If you want a game to be very good in many aspects, giving it a good development time is the first factor in having that game as excellent as possible.

Re: Video: Join Us For A Complete Series History Of Panel De Pon, With ScottTheWoz And Shesez

SakuraHaruka

Oh, Panel de Pon ^^ , my favorite puzzle game, many memories playing the SNES versions and the Pokemon versions.

I like the dynamics of this game and how additive it is, especially when playing the VS and "garbage" modes, that is, where you receive obstacles that harm you but also benefit you.
And although it is good to see that we recently had the grace to receive the original version of the SNES on the Switch online, even so, it feels a bit sad that this game is not taken into account much and worse for the original characters, who have been replaced by Yoshi, Pokemon and even Animal Crossing, and well, "Nothing", yes, the versions where there were no "skins" only the original soundtrack the only thing that kept those versions.

I hope this game will give a little more relevance and also its characters in the future ^^

Re: Feature: Every 3D Super Mario Game Ranked

SakuraHaruka

Really all the Mario games have been very excellent, really remarkable, and you certainly can't argue with how good they are.
Now, in personal opinion, my preference is more for 3D Mario (Land and World), especially for that mixture of the classic 2D Mario games of reaching the goal before time runs out, Powe ups and the journey is quite a challenge, now in a 3D environment very beautiful.

I look forward to 3D World for the Switch!!

Re: FIFA 21 Costs £45 On Switch, Despite Being Another 'Legacy' Reskin

SakuraHaruka

@Onkel_Laser
Comparing Game Freak to EA is absurd, too much for this:
To begin with, Game Freak is a "small" developer, they develop few games and their only big success is Pokemon, which incidentally is also part of Nintendo.
In addition, GameFreak only takes care of the main game, develops the characters, settings, stories and "polishes" the gameplay, which although it has been the same for years with certain improvements and with "gimmicks" in each new generation, but has still been well received by its public; All Pokemon Spin offs, the price of their games and the distribution run by Nintendo and the company that was created by these two to facilitate the distribution and control of the products of the franchise: The Pokemon Company.

On the other hand, Electronic Arts, is a gigantic company, for many years (since 1983), it has developed several games and franchises, it has bought and controls many developers for all the games it has developed, it develops, and will develop; In addition, they control its distribution, price control because it is a publisher too. In short, it is a huge company, nothing to do with Game Freak.

Now if we are going to disasters: Game Freak has only developed the main Pokemon games, and they are the only ones who have shaped the games in each generation, therefore, the gameplay and history problems, yes, they are their mere responsibility, in the case of prices, DLC's, etc. Game Freak is not the only one to make those decisions, here is where Nintendo and the Pokemon company come in, and they 2 are most directly responsible for what happened with Shield and Sword and the current generation.

Now, with EA, where can we start? They have ruined several franchises, and has blamed the developers for those failures that even those developers have disappeared out of pure "hatred", introduces mocrotransactions in a very shameless way and even has a game that makes see the third version of Pokemon agmes in every generation a joke, I mean the Sims and its thousands of DLC sold as a new game, and that's just a little summary, could put more and more of the disasters of EA.

So, tell me, is Game Freak like EA? Has it abused other developers? Unfairly fired people? Destroyed several franchises? Did they implement exaggerated DLC and microtransations by themselves in all their recent games?

It is true, IT IS TRUE that Game Freak had many errors in this last generation, but to say that it is like EA, seriously, that is being exaggerated and I better not say the other.

Re: Creatures Inc. Designer Wants To Know "What UI / UX Mistakes Drive You Absolutely Mad In Pokémon Games"

SakuraHaruka

I hope that the Feedback (or most) given at this time has been in a responsible and conscientious way, we already know that many still (yes, "still") have a "resentment" and may show an unpleasant attitude, but it is better to show a correct attitude and nothing irresponsibility, because, obviously, it is a reason why feedbacks are not taken seriously, and right now that they are "more" open to see and take note of all the opinions; We do not miss the opportunity.

Re: Amazon Lists Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered For Nintendo Switch

SakuraHaruka

Alert, Long text!! XD

@Casual_Gamer95
At one point, yes, the power would give more to make the games "run" properly and smoothly, however, really nowadays it has not been synonymous of excellent games (low frame rate, slow loading, too much use of space in the memory), simply, power isn't everything if you don't know how to program games correctly.

However, this is not my point, my point is that, yes, if a Nintendo console had a console with a lot of "power", it was supposed to have more support from the Third Parties, why? Because obviously they just wouldn't spend much and "very simple" would make the port of the main console where they develop the game.
""But"", if we remember in the Game Cube era, despite the fact that, is, the mini DVD was a detail, the console had more power than the PS2, and where there was more support, and it is assumed that the first Xbox it was already on the market, same power as the GameCube, more than the PS2, and we know what happened.

The problem are 2 points: Final Decision of the Developer and Publisher, even if Nintendo had a powerful console and yet to play the game efficiently, if the Third party does not want it, it will not happen; We have already seen Third parties that have invested with new developers to make complicated games on the Switch and they have achieved it and there has been success in many of them, and even so, many others still do not want to make games on the Switch, also, if one thinks At EA, it would be ironic that in the era of the Wii, EA developed too many exclusive games for that console, despite the low power of the Wii; what was their excuse on the Wii U, when at first we "saw" some support?
So, power is just a sad excuse to say they don't want to develop the game, why? Maybe one of those things is the best known, "business".
The other point is perhaps, something not given as a point but it influences, when a game is multi-console, it is almost always the case that on one console, it then works very well, on the other, we don't even ask, so that, even if the Switch had a lot of power, it is most likely that many games were badly made (EA style), but here, the same detail is up to the developer and publisher.

So, simple, power is not everything, it is the business and decision of companies why we do not see games on the Switch.

Re: Amazon Lists Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered For Nintendo Switch

SakuraHaruka

Good ^.^, more "probability" that NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 will come to Switch soon.

As I have repeated before, it is one of the most decent NFS in my opinion that there have been in this last decade.
And well, while, my "eternal" wish is that the NFS classics (1994-2002) have a remake or remastering, but yes, it's just a dream...

@priamXus
Yes, it could be a great success, however, for me, no thanks, they are not bad games, but thanks to them, for me, they ended the NFS that I know and like

@AtlanteanMan
Aww, if something I loved about the NFS classics, it was just that, its original and interesting soundtrack, from its inception, unique music and created by the composers who worked on the games, no licenses, well, even NFS High Stakes, but, still thus, the music was adequate for the game, in my opinion and there was still an original soundtrack.
Until the arrival of the Underground ...

Re: Nintendo Is Deleting Hacked Dream Island Uploads In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

SakuraHaruka

If you don't play by the rules of the game then it's called cheating, it's that simple.

Ok, but can one "cheating"?. yes, "you can", as it is a "game" for pure entertainment, at one point, you can cheatng, and yes, it is cheating, even if they say no, ""because you don't play by the game rules"", but you can do it and there is no problem .
BUT, """BUT""", as it is a game that connects with other players and therefore, for ethics, for following the rules, especially the rules that come in a game, they must be respected so that everyone, EVERYONE plays without having an advantage or disadvantage " unfair ", who is a good player and respects the rules, will have the advantage, but fair.
So, if you connect online, cheating is cheating and therefore, you must be RESPONSIBLE and accept the consequences for doing what is not marked in the rules of the game, so if in this game, use hacked islands and use the time -traveling is not allowed by the rules (all official rules), it is cheating and you must accept it.

Re: Talking Point: Are You Prepared To Spend $70 On The Latest Games?

SakuraHaruka

When more games show in their credits +500, +1000 people involved in their development, adjustments, distribution, marketing; I always wonder if $ 60 is enough for that game to give the company and therefore those employees enough to keep going and have new projects.

Yes, it all depends on how well developed the game is, and not only in the graphics, but also in history, characters, mechanics, music, soundtrack, etc. Since all that costs, each person, or group of people who are dedicated to those points of the game.

But, when it comes to the moment of truth, net sales, how much is $ 60?

Re: Online Retailer Lists Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit For Nintendo Switch

SakuraHaruka

I hope the rumor is true, since these NFS developed by Criterion, are for me, the latest "best" (should I say, decent) that there has been in the franchise. (I haven't played Heat yet, but I think it can be good)

Even so, I am still waiting for the day they do a remake, port or something that takes the originals from 1994-2002 ...,

It will be a long wait ... * sigh *

@retro_player_77
However, despite how "low" that game is, I consider it better in many ways than the latest and recent NFS (not mandatory online, local multiplayer, customizable races for single players and multiplayer and a hint of the classic NFS, ah, and no microtransactions)
