So I played the adventures of Elliot demo.

This is 2D Zelda with Final Fantasy Tactics Sprites in 2DHD.

And honestly, that’s pretty damn good.

Still would like a “of mana game” with 2DHD or even a “Tales” game (bandai), but I also really like 2d zelda games.

@wuntyme8 You can play ARMs without motion controls.

It is recommended to play without them, honestly. Motion controls are when you're playing the game at a party with a few drinks.

Two of these games are wii u ports and they've both sold more copies than the wii u did on switch.

I like the gameplay premise. But I really liked ARMs.

I do wish they did a little more.... design work on the playable characters. If colors/outfits are customizable though, that would immediately nullify that complaint.

@1UP-HUSKY The controls work better in two player co-op. Where one guy has the gamepad as like a rotating turret, and one guy plays traditional starfox flying the arwing.

Had this happen with my nephew when he was four. Booted up 3D world plus Bowser's Fury. We played some 3D world and that went fine, but he wanted to try Bowser's Fury. I erased my save so we could start up a file (it's not a long game) figuring I'd progress as Mario and he'd play Bowser Jr.

He wanted to play Mario.

That kinda killed any progression in the game.

Metal Sonic playable was… probably the best part of Sonic 4.

The smash music player still has the better selection.

@batmanbud2 aged great. Original is on the switch online app basic package that seems to come with the system now/is 20 bucks a year and gets you the ability to play switch games online as well as a boatload of other NES, Game Boy (Color), and SNES games.

If you don’t want to spend extra money on the remake, don’t. The original is exceedingly playable and available.

Same as the Jay and Silent Bob NES game… after a year or six months of release, sell it to Nintendo for data east prices so they put it on the NES app on switch.

Bit more: Universal Pictures sued Nintendo in like 83 because they had the vhs rights to King Kong, as well as got payouts from consoles with licensed DK games like at the time.

But years before that the production team on King Kong sued Universal for the rights and their lawyers in that case argued King Kong was public domain.

Mario Odyssey. Main game was only about 6 hours, but they were all fantastic. With post game and luigi’s balloon, I put significantly more time in. But the main game was great to just play and beat.
