The sad part is… this is easily the best game of the zelda cd-i trilogy.

It’s going to be hard convincing my wife to play Kirby just so I can play Bandanna Waddle Dee.

My ideal Mario Kart 9:

Double Dash as a mode (so you can play either way), Mission Mode returns (with bosses), 6 new cups, 6 retro cups, track variants (take from the phone game, add ramps, reverse/mirror, all the stuff), all the tracks from the mario kart arcades that never got home release, all previous drivers return (with alt costumes from phone game where applicable), and any completely new tracks from the phone game (the ones based on locations) get added.

Also an F-Zero mode. Big Blue and Mute City are ace tracks in 8’s DLC(or the deluxe version). So yeah, give me all the original f zero tracks mario kartified all the way up to port town. Of course with amazing music remixes.

This game has a pretty good roster… but I still want to see Dr Goomba Tower make a return.

@Goodnoodle5 if we still haven’t gotten an anime adaptation of the four sword manga or the link to the past one (why yes, I am named Roam)… I don’t see Ninty mining this easy source of profit for profit.

I do really hope the next pokemon lets you buy Morph Balls from the shop and catching a Ditto with one evolves them into Samus.

If you haven’t played “Beyond Oasis” by Ancient, go play that game.

@jemil1992 Bright side: we got Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, the ABC cartoon (and I suppose Sonic Underground with it), and Sonic X all kind of using variants of this style.

Pokemon Unite… it kind of has consumed a lot of time.

Sakurai plays pokemon unite with five controllers. Handling the entire team himself. He still has an 80% win rate in standard.

90% in ranked.

If you’re playing the versus mode… one character does not need to reload. Pick him.

I’m giving it a shot entirely because it let’s me play as two jawas standing on each other’s shoulders.

Robonauts, One Strike, and Not Not are probably the only qubic games I’ve got that I’ve ever gone back to more than once.

Bit.Trip Runner and sequels are all amazing.

I see it likely on a rom dump. In high school I thought there was an Japan exclusive F Zero 2 until I realized it was just a bunch of satellaview tracks. Don’t have roms anymore and the site was taken down though.

After riding day and night across the countryside, Sakurai finally thought he reached peace, dismounted his steed to feed it an apple when Sakurai noticed there was something on the horse’s bridle. Sakurai tried to flick it away and realized he just unmasked two smash fanatics in a horse costume that were begging him for a third battle pass.

Next time, Sakurai knew, he’d need to go somewhere even more isolated.

A rogue smash fanatic also knew this as they prepared their penguin costume.

Owned 10/10 wii u. Owned 6/10 3ds (and don’t know how LBW and KI:U didn’t sell more). 8/10 Wii (No party or Fit+ for me). And only 4/10 ds (Jump Ultimate Stars didn’t make it? …yeah, okay, I understand that).

@Dethmunk what can you do to elevate a mario kart 9? It’s pretty easy.

Bring in character costumes, MKTour has already made plenty.

Bring in the alternate modes of tracks from MK tour. Hell, bring in all the custom “world tour” tracks from that game.

Make a new mission mode (with battle mode bosses) like MKDS.

Make a separate additional option for double dash mode, complete with new and retro tracks, and new double dash karts and kart parts. Double Dash mode would be able to toggle on or off “character specific items”.

Throw in Kirby and a Kirby stage to celebrate his move to 3d and as a cheeky air ride nod.

@AlexHarford if you use a mushroom or hit a boost, the ink will be blown off early.

@westman98 Granted on DS/3DS you could use the touch screen to wipe the ink away.

I think Mario Oddyssey or Luigi’s Mansion was the last “short” game I played I paid full price for (Luigi was technically a discount because it was the time of game vouchers).

I don’t regret either. At all.

Yes, I’m going to give in. But in the vain hope that the cost increase is to herald a better product (which yeah, you now need more systems than 64 and genesis to add to it. So maybe if those rumors about the saturn are true… throw in dreamcast, game gear, gb(c), gba, DS (two switches required even), 3ds, wii, and wii u (two switches required again), turbografx 16, and virtual boy) and stop drip feeding the games.

What about controller paks? And will I be able to bring my nfl blitz playbook to the arcade?

@YusseiWarrior3000 no, they are ubisoft characters that have an existing shared franchise with nintendo characters and get lumped in.

Kind of like when nintendolife does an article on someone digging up the segasonic the hedgehog arcade. Sonic is not a nintendo character, but he has mario and sonic at the olympics. So he’s “close enough” to make news on a nintendo site.

@YusseiWarrior3000 it shows video game characters and franchises heavily associated with Nintendo get lumped into nintendo things from news sites to old cartoons. Especially ones that are allowed to get crossovers between their licensed characters and nintendo’s.

@YusseiWarrior3000 Rabbids appear in numerous games on numerous nintendo systems and they first appeared on a Wii launch title, which already made their ninty association strong. Now, as the sequel has been announced, they have a crossover franchise with Mario which is more Nintendo action than many Nintendo franchises get.
