Re: Video: Resident Evil Requiem Side-By-Side Comparison (Switch 2 & PS5 Pro)

Regulus6891

The game is certainly playable and a good experience on Switch 2. The Naysayers are always going to complain.

“The Hair! The hair!!! UNPLAYABLE!!” - Bruh I played NES games 35 years ago, it’s fine.

“Omg the FPS that my eyes can’t tell the difference between anyway!!” - Still playable and enjoyable.

The bottom line is… if you like Switch, get it on the Switch. If you like PS5, get it on the PS5. Either way you’re in for a very good game.

People should stop hating and just admire the fact that a NEW AAA Resident Evil game launched on the Switch , Xbox, and PlayStation. Truly remarkable and bravo to all teams involved.

Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake?

Regulus6891

They kind of messed up DQ1 in my opinion

The random encounters go from tolerable to straight up ridiculous and unfair in a blink. Nothing like getting punched to death by 3 skeletons, a werewolf, and Medusa head before even being able to make a move when your previous encounter was a single Fat Rat.

It’s not challenging, engaging, and fun. It’s straight up annoying and discouraging.

Re: Sega Knows You Hate Mario Kart's Blue Shells

Blue shells are terrible for a couple of reasons.

1. They don’t actually help the player behind catch up, they may not even help you move up a single standing.

2. It only targets the person in first place.

With a couple adjustments, we could make the blue shell more reasonable!! How about… the blue shell tags every single person ahead of the User with atleast a spin out or something as it passes them until it finally explodes on the first place racer.

Re: Gearbox's Randy Pitchford Admits Borderlands 4 Might Follow Nintendo's New Pricing

Regulus6891

Ya know, I hate to be that guy but….

This isn’t surprising, nor is it deniable.

The price of everything has gone up significantly. Video games have somehow avoiding raising the prices for nearly 3 decades. This was going to happen sooner or later. It was inevitable.

The people crying really are laughable. If you’re gonna cry about $80 Mario Kart and beyond, I will buy it off you for $85.

Re: Feature: From BOTW To TOTK - How The Switch Helped Me Overcome Mental Illness And Thrive

Regulus6891

Thank you for writing this.

Everyone is always battling some sort of Mental-Health fight,

I’m 38 years old and have handed out several Nintendo Switches as gifts to other others through the years, and always encourage to play together with friends. Most people look at me cross-eyed when I do this, but I’ve always believe video games ( Specifically Nintendo Ones ) to be therapeutic, calming, and good for the soul.

Hats off to you, Pal. I hope you continue your journey exploring the worlds of Games and then your life. Cheers!

Re: Video: Let's Celebrate 10 Lovely Years Of Alex YouTube Videos

Honestly….

Alex always offers a fair, level-headed review on software/hardware/other gadgets and I enjoy his videos/articles. Most of his reviews actually make me laugh out loud when he starts going on about some of the more head-scratching decisions on games and hardware.

Cheers, Alex! Here’s to 40 more years of Olney on Nintendo Life.

If you’re ever in the States, This Firefighter/EMT will get you dinner. ( Specifically the NYC area )
