Re: Mario Tennis Fever Hits Switch 2 Next February

Ramouz

@tourjeff A lot of their Switch games felt abandoned unfortunately.. Not all though. Aces is fun, Mario Golf Super Rush as well. Switch Sports can be fun but they need to add more to it.
I'm not liking what they're doing though. Charge full price for games, not a lot of content, then launch another one in a few years. I'm not going to support that anymore.

Their lack of patches/content updates is shocking considering most companies are now adding lots of content post-launch and are surpassing Nintendo (have surpassed actually).

Re: Super Mario Bros. Wonder Is Getting A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition

Ramouz

Happy to see fun multiplayer co-op content! It will improve this game.
I didn't really like the main game, unfortunately. It was okay in single player. Didn't like it in multiplayer. I found it strange and not as fun as New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (can never remember the full name of this), which is way more fun.

That talking flower freaks me out for some reason. Its voice as well.
I think maybe it freaks me out due to its voice. It sounds like a human adult's voice rather than a cartoon character.
I'm also freaked out by the fact that they're adding that flower in Mario Tennis Fever.

Re: Ubisoft Releasing Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 Demo "Later This Year"

Ramouz

I need the demo now to decide if I go for the much superior PC version or Switch 2 (thanks to portability and motion, otherwise I'd consider the superior Series X version).

I hope their "later this year" means 2 weeks.

The demo already exists on other platforms. I tried it. I even rented the full game on Series X from the library but decided I want to buy it after playing a few hours.
The game seems amazing.

Re: Review: Star Wars Outlaws (Switch 2) - An Underrated Adventure, A Super-Solid Port

Ramouz

@Teksette I totally understand your point.

I personally don't mind signing in since I have Ubisoft Connect everywhere and I have coins (points) in there thanks to playing their games, which gives free in-game items for any of their games, etc., and even 20% off any game on their website if you reach 100 coins.

I like the way they did it though. You download their app (Xbox, etc.), and sign in there. From now on, any game you play on that console, you're automatically signed in.

Re: Super Mario Party Jamboree Updated For Switch 2 And Switch (Version 2.2.0)

Ramouz

This game should never have been launched on the Switch 1 since S1 had 2 Mario Party games already.
It should have been launched on the Switch 2 with S2 graphics. Having the non-TV version lower res on the Switch 2 isn't normal for us who paid for the upgrade.

That first changelog point is really confusing and I don't understand it. Did they miss adding the word Switch 1 in there?

Re: Reminder: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds 'Open Network Test' For Switch Is Now Live

Ramouz

Tried it on both Switch 2 and Xbox Series X.
Obviously better on Series X. I really hope that's the Switch 1 version, otherwise, it looks terrible and runs poorly with lower framerate. I would prefer getting it on the Xbox either way since it's a superior machine.

Anyways, sadly, the gameplay isn't the best. The driving is poor and feels like an arcade game. Transformed was way better and I always hope they can relaunch that game in a "definitive edition" with improved graphics and such.

Shocking how people are saying this is better than Mario Kart World. They almost sound like they're paid. Yes, this game has some nice elements but the way it plays is poor. I really, really hope they delay the launch of this and improve the way it drives/plays. Otherwise, it feels geared at children and not that fun. Too bad, was really looking forward to this.

Re: Video: Kirby And The Forgotten Land Is A Dream On Switch 2 - Here's Our Side-By-Side Comparison

Ramouz

It only looks a bit better, obviously smoother, and of course sharper due to resolution bump. I'm not sure if they added AA or not, but, I was hoping for a bit more. Maybe some more details, more grass here and there, etc., especially since they're charging for this, and quite a lot (29.99 here in Canada).

This is the definitive way to play this and how it should have been in the beginning but it unfortunately was out on the rubbish Switch 1 first. Glad we're done with that now but the price should be half due to only 12 extra levels.

Re: First Footage Of Elden Ring Running On Switch 2 Appears Online

Ramouz

@Paulo It's a sad thought but a real one and one that Nintendo does not care about. Otherwise, docked mode would have been twice or three times the performance while undocked would have been like now. They did not care to do that, unfortunately, so we must keep using other consoles or PC.

Re: Ubisoft Reportedly Cancels Star Wars Outlaws Sequel

Ramouz

This game's awesome and really fun, especially after all the updates. They fixed it all up and it's great. Lots of things to do, lovely graphics, world, UI. Very sad to hear they're cancelling the sequel =(. Hope they change their mind.

The big problem is that they are a huge company with lots of employees so millions of game sales isn't always enough for them, plus greed. They need to reduce their size and they'd be better off.

Re: 'Mouse Work' Gets Second Trailer, But Can't Release Until Creators Get Switch 2 Dev Kit

Ramouz

@RBRTMNZ lol ! I can see what you mean!

@Suketoudara - Ah.. I didn't know. I recall only hearing that they'll launch the Switch 2 with limited units in June, then next batch in October, but it seems I misunderstood the whole point as they keep launching more units here in Canada.

It's really a shame because I'm going to keep buying games on the Xbox Series X then for non-exclusives (and for when they run better on Xbox) over Switch 2. Their loss for taking their time. They're always too careful. So many games I'd like to play from the Switch 1 days but I am waiting for (free) updates.

Re: UK Charts: Donkey Kong Bananza Is A Hit, But Sells Less Than Half Of Super Mario Odyssey

Ramouz

@Jack_Goetz I did the whole thing, paid and got a game to test from Amazon Japan (Welcome Tour), got the code, but when I try to change my region/country, it says that since I have funds, I cannot change my region! Ah . I'm also maxed out on funds lol so I have about 325 CAD in there and now I'm forced to spend them all before being able to redeem this lol!

The link you shared to change the address doesn't have any address change setting. I found that in https://accounts.nintendo.com/ - is that what you meant?

Re: Random: Players Are Completely Destroying Donkey Kong Bananza Levels, Because They Can

Ramouz

@Spider-Kev I said the same though it's 99 CAD here in Canada! Quite overpriced. Should be 79.99 CAD.
However, I had one immature person mock what I said here on this website and downplay it, just for stating that 35 hours for 99 CAD was a lot. Nintendo fanboy at its finest. Reported him and put him on the ignore list. He seems deranged.

Glad to see someone else thinking the same.

Re: Video: Switch 2 Vs. Steam Deck System Face-Off, Digital Foundry Investigates

Ramouz

To those who are annoyed with analysis like these or those mocking or those that don't understand why these exist, then consider the following.
A person wants to buy Cyberpunk 2077 or other compatible non-exclusive games, and he wonders, where should I buy it, on the Switch 2 or on the Steam Deck?

It seems many of you are just bitter to be bitter, which I noticed on this website. Lots lack maturity and understanding.

So no, it's not only "different audiences". It's both different and same. Someone will wonder on which machine should I buy x game. Comparisons serve to help us all to take a better decision. Both are handheld and both play games.

Obviously, if you don't like Nintendo games, there's no need for a Switch 2 since most likely the next handheld from any company will be more powerful.

Re: 8BitDo's 'Pro 3' Controller Boasts Magnetic ABXY Buttons And A Charging Dock

Ramouz

@SinisterWright I'm disappointed no third party company has a 3.5mm headphone jack so far (along with rear buttons of course). I know it's still early but I fear Nintendo isn't allowing that on purpose (I hope I am wrong).
It's annoying me lol because I find the Pro Controller 2 overly expensive and too slippery (I returned it). I'll have to buy it again maybe, on sale, since I don't feel it should cost that much. Anyways, was interested in this but no 3.5mm port, no buy since I have no need for another controller without it for the Switch 2.

I'm sure we'll see something soon, hopefully, unless Nintendo has this part locked down for third-party licensed controllers?
E.g., I have a GameSir G7 HE for my Xbox Series X and it's a superb controller (wired but awesome).
