Re: Talking Point: Does Nintendo Have A Refund Problem?

RCGamer

I think the companies should have a "dislicense" program. When you don't want the game anymore they should refund you a percentage based on the paid value (for example, 75%) in in-store credits, independent how long you bought or play the game.

Or they can make a "relicense" program, when people negociate their licenses with other in-store users

You can resell a used game, you should do the same with digital.

Re: Feature: So, What Happened To Super Mario Galaxy 2?

RCGamer

I think it's a DLC, but not free. The logo with the 3 games side by side have space for one more in the right side. They use something like this (but free DLC) with Mario Maker 2, when it comes with a space for same thing they fill later (I don't remember exactly what is because I don't bother for this games)

Re: Video: That Super Mario Direct Was Lovely, If A Tad Predictable

RCGamer

If you notice the logo with each game side by side, it has space for another game. Galaxy 2, anyone? I think it'll come, as a unlock content or at least (and probably the case) a DLC. I think the timed offer means the package will be solutes after that (it doesn't mean right after, but sometime after)

Re: The Nintendo Switch Is Officially Launching In Brazil

RCGamer

@Cosats the reason is not in Brazil, but in Nintendo itself. The economy is worst, the dollar is higher and the taxes are the same. The main reason is when Nintendo left here it's product (Wii U) were not selling and the need to retract. Now Nintendo has a really successful product (Switch) and need to expand again. They began slowly (they launch a web base eshop), they come in a National event and bring a non released game to people test (Luigi's Mansion 3), and they saw the reception (with a "brazilian direct" made by local developers and online campaigns asking for the return) and saw here a new opportunity to expand the market... But they need to come with competitive prices (Sony and Microsoft have official representations here) and localized products (at least subtitles). People are eager to buy Nintendo's products, but it's need to be competitive

Worst moment ever, due the currency exchange. USD almost double the price from Mar/17 to now.

And here almost anyone import from ourselves, there is a "gray market" with people who have the means to get (travel buy themselves, our know anyone to send) and resell here. It happens with almost everything (Smartphones, laptops, other brands' consoles), but in Nintendo's case there is no official market to limit the profit of this people (people should pay less in these case cus costs of being it officially, almost double the price)

Re: Soapbox: 25 Years On, I Still Can't Get Into Yoshi's Island

RCGamer

I'm not a huge fan neighter. I played back in the day, but it's not that good. It's ok, I think it was a good game, but not a that good. I'll may play in the Switch Online one day, but even in the app we have games that still worth to play again, like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong (and probably 2 and 3 coming), Super Metroid and Zelda ALttP.

Re: Pikmin 3 Deluxe: 19 Glorious Screenshots, Box Art, File Size And More Details

RCGamer

People ser talking about a Pikmin Collection with 1, 2 and 3, but Nintendo isn't doing this in any franchise. WII U GAMES ARE STAND ALONE "ENHANCED"IN PORTS. That's the strategy they're using and there's no point think they'll change it if it's working well. MAYBE they'll put 1 and 2 in a collection, maybe they'll included "Hey! Pikmin" (which I don't believe, this one if it comes to Switch I think it'll be a remaster, but they could use a somewhat straight port for the collection).

Anyway, the strategy seems like Wii U generation are full price ports with some enhancements, Wii/GC seems like full price remastesr/remakes, NES/SNES (and probably GB/GBC/GBA in the future) will be part of the on-line service, with some full remakes (like Link's Awakening) and N64/DS/3DS seems like they're in the wall, but I really don't believe in 3DS games in a collection at least in this generation... But I really would like if they put "Hey! Pikmin" in a possible Pikmin Collection, NSMB2 in a NSMB Collection (with 1, 2 and Wii), a Luigi's Mansion Collection, Metroid Prime Hunters in a Metroid Prime Collection and make HD Remasters for Zelda's, Fire Emblems and Samus Returns.

Re: Soapbox: There's No Shame In Playing On Easy, Even If You're A Pro

RCGamer

For me ia a question of work and prize. Of there is absolutely NO difference in plot, ending or extras, I'll play on the easiest. If there is a difference, I'll try the easiest difficult able to get everything. If you need to finish more than 1 time or You take something from the previous playthrough, I go first on easy than I get a more difficult mode (for example, I want to unlock every support conversation and event in FE3H, it's in progress through my third playthrough)

Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Origami King - A Puzzling Battle System Can't Kill This Funny Adventure

RCGamer

@Lettersnnumbers I don't express myself right. I prefer evolution through "items". Zelda and Metroid you find items through exploration, but could be story driven (in certain point you get the item) or how well you go (you receive the Item X if you don't let any innocent die in the Y area for example). I don't like to do the same thing over and over again (and that's why I hate almost all online mode games)

Re: Nintendo Will Reportedly Release A $250 LEGO NES Console Next Month

RCGamer

If it was a actual console with the shell made by LEGO, I'd buy... But not this way. Why not a proper LEGO game with Nintendo IP? Lego Mario, Lego Zelda, Lego Donkey Kong... Lego Nintendo World... I don't know. Or (it's complicated, I know) a DLC changing all the textures to Lago style for a proper game (Mario Odyssey? Breath of the Wild?)

Re: Donkey Kong Country Swings Onto The Switch Online SNES Library Next Week

RCGamer

Should be the 3 titles AND Mario RPG since the beginning... But ok, it's starting.

The titles I want to replay are Zelda, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Metroid (all these already in the service) DKC 1, 2 and 3 and Mario RPG...

That's because I think it's nearly impossible to see translated titles like Fire Emblem (both). And titles already in collections, like Mega Man X1, X2 and X3, Secret of Mana and Trials of Mana. And TMNT Turtles in Time due license problems
