I think the companies should have a "dislicense" program. When you don't want the game anymore they should refund you a percentage based on the paid value (for example, 75%) in in-store credits, independent how long you bought or play the game.
Or they can make a "relicense" program, when people negociate their licenses with other in-store users
You can resell a used game, you should do the same with digital.
@SPL64 yeah, here in Brazil it was a real thing! I had mine back in the day (Master System III, with Alex Kid in the internal memory) and bought again SEGA AGES for Switch to finish it with my girlfriend. A week later they announced this remake and probably I'll buy again
It's strange. If it's related to DLSS or any upscaling they shouldn't bother, since it's post processing. Maybe something bigger is going on (I don't believe it) or they just want all games future proof, since someday in a (not so close) future they will release a true 4k console (maybe 2025?)
I think it's a DLC, but not free. The logo with the 3 games side by side have space for one more in the right side. They use something like this (but free DLC) with Mario Maker 2, when it comes with a space for same thing they fill later (I don't remember exactly what is because I don't bother for this games)
If you notice the logo with each game side by side, it has space for another game. Galaxy 2, anyone? I think it'll come, as a unlock content or at least (and probably the case) a DLC. I think the timed offer means the package will be solutes after that (it doesn't mean right after, but sometime after)
@Averagewriter @nessisonett I'm not trying to excuse for him, but I think he said that because the game Launched in the same year of SotN and he try to put this in second place. He made Order of Ecleccia, which have a female protagonist (not exactly a Belmont). Anyway, it's a terrible thing to say
@Daniel36 yeah, I know... That's why it's not my kind of game. I prefer solo experience. I may give a shot in the future if it's allowed couch co-op, unfortunately it's not the case
I'm praying that comes true. If it's console exclusive, I'll buy it on Switch. If it comes to PC I'll buy on Steam. I'm not buying anything at PS4P and don't have a Xone.
@Cosats the reason is not in Brazil, but in Nintendo itself. The economy is worst, the dollar is higher and the taxes are the same. The main reason is when Nintendo left here it's product (Wii U) were not selling and the need to retract. Now Nintendo has a really successful product (Switch) and need to expand again. They began slowly (they launch a web base eshop), they come in a National event and bring a non released game to people test (Luigi's Mansion 3), and they saw the reception (with a "brazilian direct" made by local developers and online campaigns asking for the return) and saw here a new opportunity to expand the market... But they need to come with competitive prices (Sony and Microsoft have official representations here) and localized products (at least subtitles). People are eager to buy Nintendo's products, but it's need to be competitive
Worst moment ever, due the currency exchange. USD almost double the price from Mar/17 to now.
And here almost anyone import from ourselves, there is a "gray market" with people who have the means to get (travel buy themselves, our know anyone to send) and resell here. It happens with almost everything (Smartphones, laptops, other brands' consoles), but in Nintendo's case there is no official market to limit the profit of this people (people should pay less in these case cus costs of being it officially, almost double the price)
@kingbooricua I'll definitely pre-order MPT when the time comes and Mass Effect I could buy in a sale, depending on a lot of things (all DLC? PC cross-save? Etc...)
@MaxPereja @Kaboop and in NES days videogames was a toy for children. Now days many adults buy videogames for themselves if you're thinking in market share, NES is a real champion, but Switch have have a new appeal to front more costumers to Nintendo environment
I have my digital copy, but I sold my Wii U. Maybe someday I'll buy another one and redownload... But it's a pretty low move for Nintendo: People should have the option to buy in the previous system, since it exist.
I'm not a huge fan neighter. I played back in the day, but it's not that good. It's ok, I think it was a good game, but not a that good. I'll may play in the Switch Online one day, but even in the app we have games that still worth to play again, like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong (and probably 2 and 3 coming), Super Metroid and Zelda ALttP.
People ser talking about a Pikmin Collection with 1, 2 and 3, but Nintendo isn't doing this in any franchise. WII U GAMES ARE STAND ALONE "ENHANCED"IN PORTS. That's the strategy they're using and there's no point think they'll change it if it's working well. MAYBE they'll put 1 and 2 in a collection, maybe they'll included "Hey! Pikmin" (which I don't believe, this one if it comes to Switch I think it'll be a remaster, but they could use a somewhat straight port for the collection).
Anyway, the strategy seems like Wii U generation are full price ports with some enhancements, Wii/GC seems like full price remastesr/remakes, NES/SNES (and probably GB/GBC/GBA in the future) will be part of the on-line service, with some full remakes (like Link's Awakening) and N64/DS/3DS seems like they're in the wall, but I really don't believe in 3DS games in a collection at least in this generation... But I really would like if they put "Hey! Pikmin" in a possible Pikmin Collection, NSMB2 in a NSMB Collection (with 1, 2 and Wii), a Luigi's Mansion Collection, Metroid Prime Hunters in a Metroid Prime Collection and make HD Remasters for Zelda's, Fire Emblems and Samus Returns.
For me ia a question of work and prize. Of there is absolutely NO difference in plot, ending or extras, I'll play on the easiest. If there is a difference, I'll try the easiest difficult able to get everything. If you need to finish more than 1 time or You take something from the previous playthrough, I go first on easy than I get a more difficult mode (for example, I want to unlock every support conversation and event in FE3H, it's in progress through my third playthrough)
I have 4 games in my wishlist (Paper Mario, Cadence of Hyrule, Luigi's Mansion and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3), but several at backlog (both Xenoblades, Hyrule Warriors, Astral Chain, both Bayonnetas and it goes on), so I hope everything will be fine when I actually play this game
The problem is we always had some games in a near horizon that we want to buy. No I don't see anything that isn't already launched or there is no idea when it will be
@Juga you are doomed... If you have at least one more day, you could have a slight thin little hope that they announce a Direct to Thursday and the pre order right after that. But for 4:21am... No way!
@juga I have FE and Astral Chain and really enjoyed them both! Depends on what kind of games you like. They're masterpieces in their genders. In fact, I bought them with the same pair of vouchers
There is no point to Nintendo rise the price, since the price for producing Switch games are not following PS5's and XsX's producing prices. I would pay 70 for a 100% single player game with zero micrograms action and access to new content.
Probably I'll skip it. I could buy with wireless play and I DEFINITELY would buy if it has something like DS DirectPlay (1 game, 2 consoles), but not this way
@Lettersnnumbers I don't express myself right. I prefer evolution through "items". Zelda and Metroid you find items through exploration, but could be story driven (in certain point you get the item) or how well you go (you receive the Item X if you don't let any innocent die in the Y area for example). I don't like to do the same thing over and over again (and that's why I hate almost all online mode games)
I really prefer without experience points. Farming xp takes precious time. I prefer evolution based on exploration to find new items or upgrades (yes, Metroid and Zelda... I wish a Fire Emblem based on that, but at least it have automated fights). Maybe this is the right entering for me
If it was a actual console with the shell made by LEGO, I'd buy... But not this way. Why not a proper LEGO game with Nintendo IP? Lego Mario, Lego Zelda, Lego Donkey Kong... Lego Nintendo World... I don't know. Or (it's complicated, I know) a DLC changing all the textures to Lago style for a proper game (Mario Odyssey? Breath of the Wild?)
I don't bother for the first generation, nether Angel of Darkness. But if it include Legends, Anniversary and Lara Croft series, I'm in. But I really want to see the rebooted series, at least the first game
@ChromaticDracula @PcTV I'm pretty sure that the first image is from Tomb Raider III. But I understand that will be three "generations" not three "games"
Should be the 3 titles AND Mario RPG since the beginning... But ok, it's starting.
The titles I want to replay are Zelda, Mario World, Yoshi's Island, Metroid (all these already in the service) DKC 1, 2 and 3 and Mario RPG...
That's because I think it's nearly impossible to see translated titles like Fire Emblem (both). And titles already in collections, like Mega Man X1, X2 and X3, Secret of Mana and Trials of Mana. And TMNT Turtles in Time due license problems

Re: Is Your Copy Of Super Mario 3D All-Stars Crashing? That's Because You've Got A Modded Switch
I got a little concerned with the title, but I'm ok. I "modded" my joy-cons colors (including in-system) and thought that could be a problem.

I really loved Ninja Gaiden Sigma at ps3 and liked Ninja Gaiden 3 Rszors Edge at Wii U (I never played NGS2). It's a collection I'd at full price
Re: Scalpers Are Already Listing The "Limited" Switch Release Super Mario 3D All-Stars

Neither. I'd play if it was a good singleplayer experience, but it seems it's not the case
Re: Poll: What's The Best Final Fantasy Game On Nintendo Consoles?
@Tasuki FFIII is in NES and have a DS Remake. The "FFIII" in SNES (west) is in fact was FFVI in Japan

For me the best Final Fantasy ever is FFVI. It's deserves a full remake
