Re: Video: New Switch Hardware Won't Stop Bad Ports

@Wexter I live in Brazil, if you think US don't have structure, it's even worst here. And we have security problems too. I mean, it's nearly impossible to play any kind of game outside. People are afraid to even pick their smartphones inside a bus in my city (Salvador) because if they do that, can be robbed in a blink. "portable" here is a way to play in safe places, like home, it's not to play on a park, or mall In this way, you can use your own wifi, don't need internet. And if you are in another house (like a friend, cousin, girlfriend, etc) you can play in their internet, and for that, it's enough.

Anyone here plays PC/PS5/XS remotely? I do and it's a owesome job, even using smartphone 4G. I'm not sure Nintendo should stay on the hybrid formula anymore. Yes, it's plays better at home, on the same wifi (in that case, I play with the console/PC wired and smartphone with WiFi6 and Razer Kishi v2, the results are PERFECT), but I tried at my girlfriend's house (about 7km) using both her wifi and my 4G and I feel it's good enough for me.

I would prefer if it have a full power console and play remotely when I don't want (or can't) use the TV. Thay even can have a Switch app to use the current switch as a host

Re: Video: Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Bayonetta 3

RCGamer

"Temper your expectations on the tech side" It's a Nintendo Switch game, it's obvious nowdays. If the tech side was my main concern, I'd play another plataform (and I do, I have a PS5, Series S and a notebook i7 11th 16GB RTX3060, Switch is for exclusives, despite of the technical side)

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Has Leaked And Is Fully Playable On The Steam Deck

@IronMan30 I thought this way too. But thinking about the life of the systems, I started to understand that a PC game will last longer then a console one (Microsoft is doing a outstanding job in this way, I know), so I start to play on PC snd don't regret. The only thing I did to make "less work" was put a second storage and dual boot. Now it's two completely different machines when I turn on each other. It goes too well that I'm thing about have two different machines (one for work, and one for gaming) but I'm still concerned about how to deal with it (I want I Keyboard, one mouse and one set of monitors, the same for them both). Probably I'll make my work machine remoted and use directly the gaming PC

Re: UK Charts: Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Crashes Out Of Top Ten

RCGamer

@nocdaes no, it's 3 (Fates, Echoes, 3Houses, but we can count 4, including the smartphone game Heroes). If you include spin-offs (Warriors and 3 Hopes), secondary participations (Tokyo Mirage Sessions) and a port (of Tokyo Mirage Sessions, a port of a secondary participation) you should count Tropical Freeze (Switch), Mario + Rabbids (s entire DLC for him) and and all Mario party/sports games. You should count NSO games and VC too

Re: Random: Nintendo Shareholder Apparently Asked For A New F-Zero At General Meeting

RCGamer

F-Zero doesn't need that much efford. If they simply make a remaster of AX/GX (including all the content and MAYBE some new) it would get a good reception.

Star Fox Zero should have the same treatment, just ignore the use of 2 screens (the players can swap screens as they want) and a little polish on the grafics and it`s ready to go (I finished the game with gamepad only and didn't miss the second screen)

Re: Random: Retro Studios Clashed With Metroid Producer On Halo Influences

RCGamer

I really like what happened with Tomb Raider/Uncharted games: Uncharted is clearly based on pick the Tomb Raider bases and take at to a new level (way better the the last games) but the Tomb Raider reboot take the ideas os Uncharted and expanded it too. It's like a brainstorm based on finished products instead a preproduction meeting

Re: Review: Shadowrun Trilogy - A Fantastic Trio Utterly Let Down By Shoddy Ports

RCGamer

@HeadPirate Agreed, but returning should be an obligate police, not optional. Yes, should have some control to avoid people buy, play until the end and return. But a product without minimal pratical quality (it's not tight to the efford or capacity of the professionals, but the product itself) should not be allowed buy the store or the store accept returnings

Re: Best Nintendo Switch Warriors Games - Every Switch Musou Game Ranked

RCGamer

Seriously, anything but Zelda/Persona/Fire Emblem are meaningless in this list. P5S is great, but I prefer the Steam version. Among these 3 I think the order is not important, but I would not give that huge gap between any of them. They all deserve a 8.5-9 for me

Age of Calamity (to explore the lore of BotW)
Fire Emblem Warriors (for the more Polish gameplay)
Hyrule Warriors (for setting what should be a Warrior game ith a Nintendo franchise)

Re: Poll: What's The Best Star Fox Game?

RCGamer

I know nobody agrees with me, but my favorite is Star Fox Zero. It's an absolutely well made game and the best way to play is only look to ONE screen (I played without a tv, using only the gamepad) and change the game view as you need it.

Re: Talking Point: WATA And The Grey Areas Of Game Preservation - Is There Any Better Way?

RCGamer

Should be legal to download and emulate games sfter 10 years they stop production or official selling (for digital games). But the company should have the right to sell it's own emulated products in newer systems to not allowed free emulation.

I know it's not that way, but that's the way I do. I only emulate old games and if it have a collection I buy it (like Castlevania Anniversary and Advance Collections). I'm really anxious to buy Cowabanga Collection (Sonic Origins I won't, I already have the games on Mega Drive Collection on Steam)
