I didn't play the game and have no plans on doing so. I would be welcomed to a demo. I’m assuming most people will give it a 9 or 10.

@Friendly the dk games were good based on rares foundation. Never been a fan of 3D metroid. Will be interesting what happens with MP4 and if it can hold up to modern standards.

Yet people try to make this like it’s some retro special and it justifies them being a top developer. 😂

@hypercoyote I agree. I have been scolded on other sites for saying this isn’t mind blowing. As high as people hold retro I feel like they should have more output. It also possibly was 9 studios that worked on this.

It has to be artstyle for me but I’m not as blown away as everyone else.

@Nintendo4Sonic yep. That’s why EA can keep doing what they are doing. It’s a win win for them. If people don’t buy it then they can say switch gamers don’t like fifa and not give us a game at all.

I won’t purchase a mainline sports game on switch until the next iteration. There is enough lacking for me to stay away.

At this point I’m appreciative whenever we get a well known developer and ip game on switch. Good on them for seeing the switch potential.

I go into all directs with zero expectations. I don’t really care what format they present them in. It’s all about what games they announce.

If they can make it LESS complicated than warframe maybe I’ll bite. Just couldn’t get into warframe too much going on for me.

Tried multiple times and I just couldn’t get into apex.

I would say strikers cause it’s the only game I’ve purchased this year.

If you like Japanese developed games and rpgs the switch is where you need to be right now.

This has always and will always be a problem at Nintendo. They need to allow their developers room to breath. Give them the chance to make new ips or create ones from existing ips. They are too much of a micro manager and are so overly involved trying to hand hold the entire project. Always admired Sony especially PS3 era for the amount of cool different first party content their developers were allowed to make.

I feel these devs deserve my money and I will give it to them. Good job putting the work in and making the game work for a hungry switch community. There are publishers worth billions with multiple dev studios that don’t give this effort. So sad.

Purchased it for switch and couldn’t get into it. Wasn’t a fan of the user interface/hub.

@SearchingS seriously! People making excuses for them and Activision. We have mobile version of their most popular FPS. Yet they keep slapping switch players in the face by disregarding it. 🤦🏾‍♂️

THIS IS WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT! Need more games like this on the switch. Good on you developers! If it runs decently I’m ALL the way in.

Publishers and developers only do this to Nintendo fans. They know they can get away with it. Until Nintendo stops playing nice in the industry this will continue to happen. Sad but true.
