It’s just based in the development studio. Pay to have Panic Button work this and you will have a competent port. There are a couple other devs that can make it work also. Most big developers don’t have the intimate knowledge of switch and most importantly could care less about making a switch port. They want consoles that have enough power overhead that they can just do lazy developing with little optimization.

This has always and will always be a problem at Nintendo. They need to allow their developers room to breath. Give them the chance to make new ips or create ones from existing ips. They are too much of a micro manager and are so overly involved trying to hand hold the entire project. Always admired Sony especially PS3 era for the amount of cool different first party content their developers were allowed to make.
