Honestly the revision is all I care about. Just give me an announcement trailer letting me know release date and what I will get. I’m kind of down on their games lately, I could care less.

Nope. Interested but not excited.

What I can guarantee is this won’t be a 300 dollar machine. If they do bring one to market it will be 400-500 easy. That alone without a major IP it won’t sell. The thing people have to realize is console sell on the back of exclusive ips. If there is a game available on another console why would I go buy this console just for it? Switch became a hit based on Zelda and Odyssey being available. This along with the hybrid functionality. This thing would be dead in the water IMO.

I don’t care. I won’t attempt to play this until a pro version of switch is released. Hopefully it gets a patch for better performance/visuals.

My switch is perfectly fine. Really ready for a pro model though. I just cant believe it would release this year. I’m planning on next year. I have a lot of games I still want to play so no rush for me.

I’ve purchased a couple of “similar” games like this on the switch. I just cant get into them.

Never played this but it looks fun. Assuming it’s a solid port on switch then I will buy it.

This will easily hit 10 million I’m thinking closer to 20 million sold lifetime.

No the series isn’t for me. This will have no problem crossing 10 million sold though.

I’m impressed overall. On the fence about the purchase. I want to support honestly. Wish there was a local co-op mode though.

We are thankful to have them. Would love to see some games that people keep saying can’t come to to switch be made by them. Especially with the pro coming.

Definitely wouldn’t be my pick at all. Hopefully they get better chances for ports on the pro.

Seems like a lot of technical issues holding this back. Hopefully people are willing to jump back in when those are fixed later this year.

So happy this is finally out. Was tired of hearing people say the switch was fine and another model wasn’t needed until 2023. This is the right move. This is Nintendo being aggressive and proactive. This will rep rewards for them and their install base. Great times ahead.

@Friendly maybe there is a way. We all know we need a switch pro. The original switch is more capable then people think. Not because of brute force power but architecture and modernization. It’s time for a pro but his doesn’t surprise me one bit.

@anoyonmus possible but when people think frostbite they won’t be getting the big games. I assume if this does well they will probably try and bring over other games in the series. But battlefield won’t be coming. Doubt they even attempt madden. It will be games with more animated visuals.

I hate trailers that don’t have actual gameplay footage. Might as well just make a press announcement and call it a day. That did nothing for me.

Picked up borderlands

There has always been hype. This isn’t an issue from the gamers perspective. I think developers should stop trying to hype there own games that won’t potentially live up to what they stated it would. Stop using the graphics buzz words to market and promote their games. A great game should speak for itself. Take a look at BOTW. Nintendo released that amazing prelaunch trailer. We saw a bit of the game at the E3 prior to its release. But overall the gameplay spoke for itself. Playing the game is what matters. Hype in itself isn’t a bad thing. It’s not bad for me as a consumer and gamer to be excited for a game. Developers just need to focus on making the game as great as they can within the constraints of the console and the engine they are using.

Apex legends is all I will get. It’s free and worth trying. Other than that I guess I’ll wait on the next batch of announced games from mid year.
