This required you to fill a huge chunk of your ps4 storage. So I don't think this can be released without any technical nonsense solutions.

I'd play this if it would have even 1% of FF7's atmosphere. But this all feels like a grotesque fever dream with mismatching styles.
There was a reason these characters didn't look hyperrealistic in the original. It just doesn't suit this story.
That huge sword makes no sense without the huge eyes and huge hairdo.

@Axelay71 Just wanted to counter the madness as much as I could. Remasters at this price are automatically 0/10 for me. There's no way I'm ever even going to pay for this so it gets the score of an unplayable game.

I take pricing and accessibility into consideration for scores.

Some of you will hate my constant negativity, but it's because peoples' blindness is just disproportionate right now. The idea of asking so much money for this should be challenged at every opportunity.

And yes, NintendoLife is a prominent Nintendo site so developers and publishers do read these comments. Even if they won't change, they want to know what we think. So we should let them know.

As long as VR isn't affordable and comfortable, 1st person will never be my first choice.

3DS had developers making some 3DS games beside their PS3/4 games. Now they just try to slap the most graphically taxing games on all consoles without considering that it is in fact a handheld.

This is the kind of game where the 60fps actually matters.

I never once thought my 3DS needed 1080p because it never tried to run Cyberpunk.

Sure, things look good financially, but they probably know people are starting to see through them. And what better way to boost their “family-friendly” image than by putting someone with a friendlier face in charge?

Hard to judge how she'll do, but I'm giving her a fair chance and I definitely prefer her general vibe over Bowser and Reggie's. Feels like she's more sincere.

I never understood why Reggie got such a cult status. He creeped me out! Seems like it was more the memes that made him than his actual actions.

@Browntrouser I don't want that version of 'better'. A.I. is not a problem if it elevates human creativity a little bit, but this is all soulless garbage that won't really connect. It’s generic in the most literal sense and I like my stories to be written by people with actual experiences.

@Janeygo I was waiting for someone to notice this! It probably also comes straight from Suno. It's hard to imagine worse music than this.

@Whyarewestillhere There's a big difference between 'modest' graphics and bad art direction.

Pokemon has been quantity over quality for a long time now. I wish they'd just stop whatever they're trying, and reboot the whole franchise with the original 151, where you can actually catch 'em all. Take some cues from Level-5 and up the difficulty. Fully open world and relatable characters. Protagonists who don't look like lazy NPC's.
(I'm repeating myself until it happens)

I thought this was going to be just more of the same, until I saw that jaw-dropping animation in the Direct! Probably won't play this one but I'll definitely watch the cutscenes.

Gee, I wonder why War of the Lions isn't included. Such a good strategy. Selling us this version, then making us pay for the DLC, and then releasing a physical version with the DLC included. Tripple dipping for everyone!

It IS an objectively lesser experience if it's a game we already know vs. new discoveries around every corner. 'End of'.

Of all the games that don't need remakes, this needs a remake the least.

Why did this ever need 'waves'? It's a flippin' icon. Not everything has to be stretched out to 'maximise consumer engagement'.
