This doesn't have the same charm as the previous game, from what I've seen. People will try to defend it since it's the only entry we've got in so long, but I genuinely don't think this will be the same type of experience.

I assume this is for the game's 3rd anniversary, really happy to see them acknowledge this game again! One of the few Nintendo games to stay at v1.0.0

@Thomystic What did Pyoro say? I heard Pyoro hinted at some Pokemon thing but I haven't seen anything about a potential Direct.

while I'd love to see it, I have my doubts because of another Direct next week.

I mean Switch 1 has to get games announced at some point, right? There's not any upcoming 1st party games with a release date so I'd imagine we'd hear something for Switch 1 soon. Maybe we'd also get a Metroid Prime 4 release date?

I'd guess it might get an upgrade with BC, but I'm sure Nintendo knows how well this series sells.

Remember this is a Japan product, where Metroid games struggle to be in top 10 best selling games in launch week. If anything, this would hurt Switch 2's early sales in Japan.

The true unveiling will blow everything else in the direct out of the water.

1. 3D Mario will most likely be there
2. Switch 2 specs will be there
3. If you're making up a rumor you would start spreading rumors of how people will react to it

This is a very fun game, glad that they added it to NSO. I’m going with Europe for this one for sure.

I’ll be playing Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, specifically the DLCs for that game. I didn’t want to buy an Ubisoft product but this was an actually good product and it was 75% off so I went for it.

Hope this means GameCube NSO, many of my favorite games of all time are from GCN so this would be a great addition!

$400 or more is very broad, very easy prediction since it encompasses pretty much all likely scenarios.

@HeadPirate Pokemon has previously and intentionally released unfinished games, and it doesn't seem to affect sales at all, so it'd be a good strategy to do another unfinished game to get sales, and that gives more time to work on other projects (Gen 10). Bad publicity is still publicity, and Pokemon takes advantage of that.

Switch can run the likes of Mario Odyssey, BotW (both of which released about 8 years ago), and Pikmin 4, so this isn't the Switch's problem, it's TPC.

Idk why people were saying this could be a major cross gen title. If Switch 2's power is a big deal, they're not doing pokemon so early.

My theory is they have this game run so bad it makes Switch 2 look even better than it is.

Computer games have already done this, but Switch 2 has a cartridge slot so we shouldn’t have to worry for Nintendo for the next 6-7 years.

Again, NintendoLife should report on things but have their comments closed. I never really believe these ‘analyst’ articles, we already went through this before.

Nice to see even newer Mario games on sale.

Gen 2 is one of the best, but did we really need two starters from it in this game? Now across both Legends games, Gen 2 has been represented with all three starters, with no support of Gen 1, 3, 4, or 6.

Hopefully this doesn't become a trend. Once NSO one day does shut down, I'm worried I won't have my progress for it anymore, and this isn't reassuring.

@Novamii Yeah I've seen some of the ending, probably one of the best Pokemon endings (love the credits song as well). For sure my favorite part of the game I've seen (aside from Geodude). Some of the glitches actually seem kinda fun to do, those things would be the biggest reasons for me to play the game!

This game doesn't look exactly finished but what were you expecting with Legends Arceus AND Scarlet/Violet both being released a couple years ago, and this was likely a project worked on alongside Gen 10 so it wasn't TPC's focus. Hopefully it'll be a $50 game but since it's Pokemon it's sure to be $60.

The only good thing about the Pokemon Presents is that this pretty much confirms Gen 10 will not be this year so maybe it won't be completely unfinished this time.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of hope is probably top 15 Switch games, it is very fun and in my opinion it perfected the battle engine. It's too bad Ubisoft owns the Rabbids IP, I would love another game in the series without Ubisoft making it.

I mean it seems like Nintendo has more teams making their games than ever, so I think they can keep up with this for the most part.

Is this the smallest update so far? Nice to have this OST, but would've been better if we also got Super Mario Bros. 3 with it.

I very much doubt I'd trade mine in, but Switch 2 seemingly will just do everything a Switch does + more.

Honestly, transfer might not be necessary with digital games, you can probably just redownload them with the linked Nintendo account. I'm sure there will be some sort of transfer system for easier way to transfer all data, but Nintendo accounts could potentially make this a lot easier.

I think 3DS Should go on NSO eventually, but probably more important to do DS/GameCube first. Maybe for now we could get some remasters!

These are the most boring Nintendo presentations. Just ads for mobile games and maybe a trailer for another unfinished product (in this case, Legends Z-A)

Nintendo's really good at making us want digital games! I actually do often opt for digital games but now I don't know what I'll do. Bad move from Nintendo.

I think it was a bad idea to release this before Switch 2, being an early Switch 2 game releasing on all consoles at the same time would’ve been a much better idea for sales.

Amazon does that a lot, but that's because of 3rd party sellers.

Really hope this is true, we haven't had a Kirby game at all in nearly 2 years since Return to Dream Land Deluxe, so I could definitely see this happening sooner rather than later!

These are really good ideas, I love the thought of a creepy Isle Delfino or abandoned village. The prison would be super fun as well, if pulled off right. Really looking forward to LM4, I have high expectations with how good the 3 current games are! Hopefully things will be more creepy (probably make it rated e10+)

Well if they're going to continue Switch 1 games, how about a Direct for it soon? We only know of 3 upcoming 1st party Switch games so it'd be nice to know about more!
