I've been waiting for Forgotten Land DLC since it came out 3+ years ago and we're finally here! $20 sounds like a really good price for the DLC, definitely will get it when it comes out!

NA/EU is my choice, love the vibes of GameCube art that I don't get as much with the Japan box art. I like seeing the captain on the cover as well!

@EVIL-C I mean I haven’t studied it, but you can’t just deny it ever happening. US President Ronald Regan’s assassination attempt against him was done because of a movie, I believe, but there was a mental problem in that as well, so it wasn’t really the main cause.

I agree banning stuff is terrible, but as I said earlier there’s tons of eShop games that are shovelware and should be removed.

@westman98 I agree censorship is bad, but I no doubt want all those shovelware games on eShop removed. Ubisoft is tricking their costumers and ultimately shouldn’t be allowed to.

@EVIL-C IGN is a really bad source and pretty much would defend any controversial game to gain website traction. I think games can cause violence, but that’s never the sole reason. I didn’t say I agree with the controversy, but it’d probably be best to avoid the thing. Ubisoft is a very anti consumer company so it’d be nice to get less of those games.

Nintendo shouldn’t let this game be on Switch 2, it’s a bad look especially to consumers in Japan

edit: this comment was posted half a year ago why do people keep replying? I don't think Ubisoft in general is a good studio to support either, and since it's game key card it's not like many people will ever notice or care that this game is rereleasing.

Disappointed that this will take the about once a month Switch slot, but just got Luigi's Mansion on here so I guess I can't complain

It's actually just the ones that aren't the fan favorites, I thought 8 Deluxe disrespected battle mode enough, but sadly worse in this game. So far this game looks great, but really hoping for those modes.

15 more minutes even though the Switch 2 Direct had so much. There must be quite a bit of stuff yet to be revealed for this game, can't wait!

Lol it isn't even the definitive version. 8 year old Wii U game charged $70 and can't even come with it's DLC content

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch was just 3 years after the Wii U version and was $60 with old DLC included and actual substantial new content.

This is just another cash grab, I hope this sells poorly so Nintendo gets the message.

Super Mario 64 and Luigi's Mansion ended up being 2 of my 3 favorite games of all time, so N64 and GameCube I would put #1.

The only Switch 2 launch title I see myself playing would be Mario Kart World, but I haven't played yet and I'm not ready to claim it as the best game ever, no matter how good it looks.

ngl the Switch's launch lineup is a bit overrated

Things seem quite pricey almost everywhere. This thing is very powerful for a handheld/hybrid console. It's especially pricey in certain places, which is really frustrating for those in those countries!

Yeah Mario Kart World definitely looks genre-defining, probably will end up as the best racing game of all time.

Donkey Kong Bananza could be genre-defining, it looks like an incredibly fun engine!

@coolioam I would've been alright with this design for the Mario games, but the first mainline DK game in 10+ years is also using the new design, pretty much solidifying that as his new permanent design. I feel like the Rare one had a good balance of being funny and looking really strong, but the new one just feels like he's there for comedic reasons, and the strength is purely from gameplay.

Is Donkey Kong’s new design permanent? I like the Rare one a lot more, and it’s very sad that they’re pretty much removing the old one from every game.

Also when will we hear more about games without a release date, like Kirby Air Riders?

Charging $10 for the console's manual is crazy

@anoyonmus Personally I think people hang onto a party or hating a party too much, supporting what you actually think beneficial is a lot better than following the crowds no matter what.

@its_luke_c there was still hundreds of thousands of people illegally crossing the border yearly though, even though Canada's crossings were a lot less of a problem then Mexico's were.

@drumnbayes It'd be nice if everyone was willing to work together for a solution, but with how politics work most people think of their political opponents as villains (This is true both inside and outside of US), and that's what the political leaders essentially teach the people to do.

@Olliemar28 Seems like Vietnam is making a deal with US and this implies not much affect for Nintendo.

@drumnbayes They made both Mexico and Canada reinforce the border and I believe gave record lows for illegal crossings of said borders, and Vietnam is making a deal with these new tariffs (which is a lot of Nintendo stuff I believe), and it's asserting dominance on many other countries right now.

I'm not saying I'm supporting the tariffs, but they're not all doom and gloom like some people are acting like. Trying to be unbiased and see the good and bad outcomes

I think either way the economy was kind of doomed, since democrats claimed they think they did a great job the past 4 years with the economy and wouldn't make any changes. These tariffs could be beneficial in some scenarios at least for America (as we've already seen a few times already), but it is definitely hitting hard at the worst time for Nintendo.

Why don't we close comments on these kinds of articles? We know most people here aren't here to talk about Nintendo, but to give a jab at political leaders in a Nintendo Life comment.

Don't forget:

• Switch 2 is a very powerful machine (more powerful than expected) and 450 is still cheaper than competitors
• Still cheaper in comparison to some other countries

How is Kirby Forgotten Land Switch 2 Edition smaller file size than the Switch version?

This seems like the best they could do with what they have. Glad we don't have to worry about buying a bunch of new overpriced controllers since we can just use our old ones!

$80 feels like way too much for a game in general, even though this game looks huge. I guess games have been priced this way for a long time, hidden behind the name 'paid DLC.'

I hope more games get this. Forgotten Land DLC and Mario Party DLC make sense to be paid but the others should've been free. Hoping more games get this treatment!

The bundle cuts of $30 off the price so that’s probably the best deal. I thought $70 was a lot to ask but $80 is wild.

Best Direct of all time! Kirby Air Ride returns, Mario Kart Worlds looking like the best of the series, Kirby Forgotten Land DLC, and a new DK 3D game! LUIGI’S MANSION IS COMING TO SWITCH 2!!!

Also, the specs seem to be crushing people’s expectations. 120 FPS is INSANE

Looks awesome, love the amount of characters and costumes, just what I wanted! Open world looks awesome too.

Really hoping this is in the Direct!
