Super Mario 64 is a game that seems to always is having stuff discovered even decades later, this is really cool!

Personally I thought it’d be called The Super Mario Bros. Movie 2, but this would be cool too!

Based on the source it seems like it’s listed with series like ‘Minions’ and ‘Shrek’, not specific entries, so this is perhaps a mistake.

I mean there’s this weird cave with a door in the main area that you can barely not reach so wouldn’t be surprised if bonus content was related to that

Forget Kirby, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, 2D Mario, this is where true quality is at! Keep buying these games and TPC will play limbo, so we can see how low they can go

Pikmin 3 Deluxe, Luigi's Mansion 3, and Kirby and the Forgotten Land were some of the few 3D adventure games with actual good co-op. I really hope that Diddy Kong would be the 2nd player!

@LastFootnote I'm not sure, I feel like I heard that as well but I haven't played them in so long that I can't say for sure either way

I mean charging $70 for the same game every year is already quite pricy...

Oh no Switch 2 has Nintendo doomed!

I personally won’t be getting this game but it’s one of the only 3rd party companies that seem to have even an ounce of respect for their consumers, unlike Sega and the others.

Nope, it takes the worst aspects of digital and physical games and combines them.

If people plan to ‘boycott’ them, remember people said they’d boycott the Switch 2 and see how that turned out. I really hope these sell poorly though, this is so anti-consumer

Virtual Game Cards definitely have had positive effects, but I really liked this feature of playing 1 game online with 2 accounts.

I feel like it was essentially Nintendo's way of apologizing for their high prices for digital games, that and gold points and vouchers. First 2 are gone now, and vouchers won't be usable on Switch 2 games. We will have GameShare, but it doesn't seem compatible with a lot of games yet. I think we should get discounts on digital games, like Mario Kart World could be $80 physical, and $70 digital.

Why is Kirby Forgotten Land listed here, it's supposed to release in August I thought

I mean it's xbox were people buying these anyway? If we thought their sales numbers were low, interested to see how they will be once these prices go up.

Wario and King Boo is a really cool duo, nice to see Wario finally getting a lego!

@sanderev I think if it was a flaw they would've fixed it about 7-8 years ago, this is just them taking away a feature.

I'm saying this as someone who actually is happy with the virtual game cards, as it's mostly positive. Just sad that it removes a cool little gimmick since Nintendo has been so greedy with their games since they forgot the DS and 3DS download play feature. Now with GameShare, I'll have hope to be able to do that again!

@drypaphmrbro Let's say there's Account 1 and Account 2, and Switch A and Switch B. If Account 1 is on both Switch A & B, and if Switch A is Account 1's primary console, then you could play the game on Switch B with Account 1, then play it also on Account 2 on Switch A.

Virtual game cards are mostly nice, but I knew a technique that would let me play my digital Mario Bros Wonder on 2 consoles at once for multiplayer with just 1 game, but this new update gets rid of it

Probably Pikmin, although Luigi's Mansion, 3D Mario, Mainline Kirby, and (hopefully) Paper Mario are very hype as well!

Most people don't use My Nintendo for orders, this analyst doing 2.2m My Nintendo sign-ups x 3 feels like simple multiplication at best and poor estimate at worst.

I've been waiting for Forgotten Land DLC since it came out 3+ years ago and we're finally here! $20 sounds like a really good price for the DLC, definitely will get it when it comes out!

NA/EU is my choice, love the vibes of GameCube art that I don't get as much with the Japan box art. I like seeing the captain on the cover as well!

@EVIL-C I mean I haven’t studied it, but you can’t just deny it ever happening. US President Ronald Regan’s assassination attempt against him was done because of a movie, I believe, but there was a mental problem in that as well, so it wasn’t really the main cause.

I agree banning stuff is terrible, but as I said earlier there’s tons of eShop games that are shovelware and should be removed.

@westman98 I agree censorship is bad, but I no doubt want all those shovelware games on eShop removed. Ubisoft is tricking their costumers and ultimately shouldn’t be allowed to.

@EVIL-C IGN is a really bad source and pretty much would defend any controversial game to gain website traction. I think games can cause violence, but that’s never the sole reason. I didn’t say I agree with the controversy, but it’d probably be best to avoid the thing. Ubisoft is a very anti consumer company so it’d be nice to get less of those games.

Nintendo shouldn’t let this game be on Switch 2, it’s a bad look especially to consumers in Japan

edit: this comment was posted half a year ago why do people keep replying? I don't think Ubisoft in general is a good studio to support either, and since it's game key card it's not like many people will ever notice or care that this game is rereleasing.

Disappointed that this will take the about once a month Switch slot, but just got Luigi's Mansion on here so I guess I can't complain

It's actually just the ones that aren't the fan favorites, I thought 8 Deluxe disrespected battle mode enough, but sadly worse in this game. So far this game looks great, but really hoping for those modes.

15 more minutes even though the Switch 2 Direct had so much. There must be quite a bit of stuff yet to be revealed for this game, can't wait!
