The fact someone complained they did not add enough for a 3.0 patch is so ludicrous to me. YouTube really fried your brain you'all, you are negative even though there's litteraly no reason to be.

I'm still glad I paid full price for this game, it deserves every penny.

@ImpromptuR I actually did read it, contrary to 90% of people here who said "Uhhhhhh Nintendo", when the article specificaly said no one knows if it's due to some Nintendo policies or not.

Glad Mario Kart World and Bananza are both doing extremely well. Two fantastic games.

Already pre-ordered this one (I know, I know, game key card, but the reversible cover art is really pretty, and it comes with a free Magic FF series booster), it looks incredible on such a small device.

Same games as last week end : Persona 3 : Reload, Mario Kart World, and Metroid Prime 4.

And also it's time for my yearly playthrough of Super Mario 3D World. This game is what comes to my mind when I hear "video games" and "fun". It is such an immaculate and pure experience, and a well suited game for winter season.

Glad people can still be excited about this game. I don't care about it anymore. Does it really need some new depressing and fun deprived area ? Well, apparently yes.

@DennisReynolds In which way does it struggle though ? It handed big releases (AC, Outlaws and Cyberpunk) quite well (AC is now patched and runs fine). It's definitely running way better than on its direct competitor, the Steam Deck (around the same price)

@michellelynn0976 Oh. That's nice to know. That's actually my biggest complain with BG3. Could not play it without encountering some annoying bug here and there.

I hope it's less disgusting than whatever this trailer for Divinity was though. Not a fan of... torture and vomit ? Ugh

I have been playing Mario Kart World quite a lot recently, with my family, with my GF, and online. It's such a fun game. I really like Kirby Air Riders, but this game has one fatal flaw : it really takes some time to like it (so it's hard to bring newcomers to this game) whereas you can instantly jump in Mario Kart and have fun.

I plan to continue my playthrough for Metroid Prime 4 too. Great game. Not the best this year, but a solid one. Retro Studios is still talented, and I can't wait for their next project (please, be DK Country).

@MasterGraveheart Then being "independant" means absolutelly nothing, it's so subjective. Furthermore, Sandfall does have a publisher, it's Kepler Interactive. If this game is independant, then almost every game on the market is at this point.

Beside, what I criticized was this whole story made up by youtubers in dire need of views : according to them, this game was made by a small independant team, that it's "making AAA look bad because it's such a good game made by such a small team", that "gaming is healing" or whatever (sure, every year games are better and better, but it does not suit their BS story)

Why was it important to criticize this aspect ? Because 90% of Clair obscur's initial success came from that story (search for a video made when this game released, and look at the comments section), which is basically BS and needed to be debunked.
It does not change the fact it's a great game and it's worthy of this GOTY award. But the story around it is BS.

@MasterGraveheart Okay, let's break another BS spread by useless youtubers like Yong Yea : the game was not made by 33 people. External studios worked on it, on matters like animation for example.

The team behind is pretty much the same in size as the one behind Bananza.

It is NOT an indie title. Which does not change the fact it's a great game of course.

It broke every store because Team Cherry did not allow for preorders. It would happen for every big anticipated game. Watch GTA VI break every store for 1 entire week if Rockstar were stupid enough to not allow preorders.

It's clearly not. You can dislike the games but it is a phenomenal piece of hardware.

Metroid Prime 4 did not deserve all the dirt people threw at it. It's a great game...

I'm hoping for a new IP, and I'm sure it will be incredible, considering Larian's talent. I don't know if BG3 was really GOTY 2023, but it was one heck of a game. Just hope their next game will be a little bit less buggy. Larian's games always lack this sort of polish imo

Gosh, I would love for Inazuma Eleven to get a physical release.

Alas, I think Lvl 5 will never launch it physically, with how bad it turned out for them in the past

What I want next :

• 2 laps at the end of every intermission, 3 for koopa troopa beach
• new costumes and characters
• custom knockout tour
• some new mode that allows us to play multiple races in a row (à la knockout tour), without any player getting eliminated

The game is definitely heading in the right direction. It's already great, it can be even greater.

From what I played : Prime 4 deserved a better ranking, that's for sure.

The fact Myles was regarded as Satan incarnate before release is laughable once you play the game for yourself. As usual, things got blown out of proportion.

I'm concerned about the people that complained so much about him though. Do they hit their kids because they are too noisy... ? Do they yell at grandmas on the street because they are too slow ? Like seriously, what's their level of patience, if they get angry for this guy ?

My copy of Metroid Prime 4 just came in, so I will be playing that for most of the week-end.

Otherwise, I will continue my Persona 3 R's playthrough (my personas are now around lvl 30, weird people started popping up in the story, I like it)

And a few City Trial's matches online ! It's really a great mode, I did not like it that much at first, but now that I understand how to control better, it's soooooo fun

Pikmin 4 is definitely getting a Switch 2 version, the only question is "when" !

It might just drop on a random friday. The splatoon 3 update dropped out of nowhere so why not.

Netflix is the streaming equivalent of some low tier fast food company in the food business.

The fact they now have access to such beloved franchises is deeply concerning.

It's a nice little throwback. I'm not sure booklets are necessary anymore though (after all, you can find everything you want and more on the internet), so I'm glad we are not wasting too much paper on those.

I'm so happy Silksong is getting forgotten and most people see the game for what it is : a deeply flawed 7/10 game that makes zero interesting game design decision in its entire 40 hours runtime and overall, a vastly inferior game compared to the first.

Woah, it's a way better update than it seems on the patch note. There's quite a lot of change here, that's really nice !

@somnambulance If you want to give the game one last try, I would advice you to watch some tutorials on youtube about the best machines for beginners. The controls felt weird until I found a rider+machine combo I really like (Meta Knight + jet star). The game now feels extremely fun and once you get in your "zone", you just feel like a F1 driver lmao

I must admit, they look pretty darn good. But never had any amiibo, and those cost a lot of money, and well, they are still just pieces of plastic that will gather up some dust.

Kirby Air Riders : played mostly Air Ride courses, I almost unlocked them all. Played quite a lot of Free Ride, I'm loving this little story mode, frankly Mario Kart World would have been better with something like it (and the ability to choose 3 laps courses only)

Persona 3 : Reload : my personas are around lvl25, so I'm not that far into the game, but I really like it so far. I wish we could also get a Switch 2's version of Persona 5 R

The gamecube inspired one is incredible, I want it so much

I'm loving this game so far. It's a little bit chaotic, but I can definitely see it will get less and less when I eventually improve.

Echoes of Wisdom is a better game than Link's awakening. Like, seriously, even on Switch, the game has aged pretty badly.

Persona 3 Reload ! I have a blast with the game, the atmosphere is great, even though I still prefer Persona 5's.
