Captain Toad : Treasure Tracker with GF through GameShare ! I love this game and how it uses GameShare. We don't have a TV at home so playing this game together is super easy and confortable, she uses our old Switch OLED and we each have a screen that follow our own Captain toad independantly. I wish more games made use of this feature like this.

Plus, the game is sooooo pretty on Switch 2, gully, it looks really good.

Pretty good announcements for a Partner showcase. Rebirth looks stunning I must say, and I'm definitely interested in Indiana Jones. Pragmata too, must try the demo first.

I was really interested by Indiana Jones, as its the only game on this list I never played. Great it's fully on card ! But not the end of the world if it was not.

@MoldyPasta It's not just the difficulty which is not well balanced. It's just not a well designed game in general, in terms of combat, boss encounters (I can count on one hand the good boss fights in this game : Phantom, Widow, Third Choral, Lace, mayyyyyybe Trobbio first fight), traversal mechanics, level design (3 poison swamps in a row, stupendous...), quest design (yeaaaay, 25 burned meat to bring to this guy, peak quest design)... plus the overall atmosphere is way less magical and interesting than HK1. The first game was somewhat generic in its game design, but at least it was really well executed.

Plus, I'm not commenting on a HK2 article to say it's bad, I'm commenting on a HK1 article to say this is the actual good game out of the two, because it's still a worthwile experience, and maybe people that strongly disliked the second game (like I did) could see that opinion and give this one a chance, especially with this new Switch 2 version.

The only good game out of the two Team Cherry made.

I predict a surprise expansion of Witcher 3 and Switch 2 edition of this game and a Duskbloods mini Direct immediatly after this one.

I hope The Witcher 3 gets a surprise expansion and Switch 2 edition reveal !

Other than that, it would be nice to see Metaphor ported to Switch 2 !

I have an hard time figuring out how this game is disrespecting people in a wheelchair. Saw multiple comments of people with this handicap saying they liked the fact this game exists at all. Guess they are wrong.

@Jumwa Why would tariffs impact the price of a Nintendo Switch 2 sold in Europe for example ? Makes no sense.

The only reason they are considering a price increase is because of RAM shortage.

Three Houses is easily in my top 5 Switch games (alongside Origami King, Breath of the Wild, Pikmin 4 and Mario Odyssey), the fact it looks like a direct continuation of that game is enough to make it my most anticipated game this year. Plus, GODLIKE music seems back on the menu bois !

I can understand why most people are not that excited by what is already announced. I think it's shapping up to be a really solid year, but Nintendo maybe needs one big hitter to please everyone, a new 3D Mario for example. But if you like Fire Emblem, Splatoon and From Software, gully, it's looking good.

I would not have believed that Lego set's price in a million year. But yeah, Lego is getting more expansive each year, I guess I should have seen it coming.

I have so much games to finish, and I promised myself to not buy new ones until I finished 2 or 3 or them (mainly Persona 3 and Chibi-robo)

So I just bought Captain Toad : Treasure Tracker ! Damn it. At least it's a short game, and I can play it with my GF.

I don't understand how this thing is gonna change video game developpement. It seems sloppy at best, and from what I can understand, only replicates existing video games, without any code written (aka : people have to run their unoptimized model all the time if they want to play the "game"). Am I missing something ?

I hope we see a Metaphor port, and this brand new Witcher 3 expansion (alongside a Switch 2 version of the game) !!

And the Switch 2 ??????? Why did they not talk about how the game will run on the console ?

@Sonicka It's absolutely not niche. The announcement of this game on Twitter gathered the most "like" out of any tweet Nintendo ever made, or something like this.

@EarthboundBenjy What is exactly the precedent set here ? Those game would still be dead and forgotten if they did not do this. If you bought them digitally, you could arguee it's the same problem because the second the servers shut down, you lose those games, and Nintendo is not gonna have a dedicated physical release for two Virtual Boy games. So them releasing those games on NSO is by far the best option, and the only viable one.

@Yoshi3 Okay, let's put that out of the way once and for all : MP2 and MP3 remaster are never going to happen.

Retro did MP1 remaster in preparation of MP4, when they were not working on it. The original plan was to do all three of them but once they started working MP4, this project was put to rest. It's not happening.

@croz Releasing movies does not change how much games Nintendo will release.

Aaaaaaaand a new 3D Mario announced. It's long overdue now, it's been years since Odyssey, and we know for a fact Koizumi-san has not been working on Bananza, so what did he do ??

Any amiibo related to Wind Waker will immediatly steal my heart so I voted for those two in the poll !

It's impressive a game like this can run so well on such a small device. I'm impressed. It just might be the biggest technical showcase for the switch 2, even above Outlaws and Cyberpunk.

9/10 so far. Did not play much, as I'm too busy with Persona 3, and I want to give this one my full attention.

Welp, the game does look pretty good imo, they nailed the vibe of the first game. Not sure about the combat though.

The fact they are promoting free exploration from the very start is a good sign imo.

Making good progress on Persona 3 Reload ! I think there's only a third of the game left, I like the game structure, it feels way less formulaic than Persona 4 and 5's, the game introduce new characters whenever it feels like it, pretty cool

I did not touch Chibi Robo recently but I almost finished it too !

@Dee123 Cappy, Prince Florian, Toadsworth, Captain Toad, Toadette, Wario (and every character from the WarioWare series for that matter), Waluigi, Pauline, King K Rool (and most of the DK cast we barely saw), professor E. Gadd, Geno... Goombella from TTYD would be nice to see as a cameo (or any other character from either 64 or TTYD).

I don't really understand the people in the comment. The company is in big trouble. AC Shadows was a massive failure. Same for SW Outlaws. Ubisoft is not in a good shape. So yes, that's necessary to restructure in order to focus on their most profitable activities... else the company will just go bankrupt, and then nothing else will be left to save.

It's incredibly funny how everyone in the comment section is already sure Nintendo is gonna increase their prices.

@Pillowpants I understand where you are coming from, but Doug was completly in his role of president. Reggie and Iwata did things their way and wanted to be more of a public face for the company, but from everything I heard about Doug, he did a good job at NoA.

NA one could have worked if instead of a dark blue, they choose something like a bright red. Because you can barely see the artwork there.

@Misima Gaming is also a way to spend time with your family and friends. Nintendo games are excellent for this. I remember getting back from school and playing some smash bros / mario kart with friends, we loved it. Or spending entire afternoons playing Pokémon, exchanging them, battling, discussing theories about secret Pokémon, how to obtain Arceus, etc.
Nowadays, I'm playing quite a lot of Mario Party and Mario Kart with my neeces and nephews, same with my GF, and it's a great way to spend time together.

Childhood should be... fun. Not just gatheting skills (I do agree that it's also important to teach kids useful stuff, like cooking, cleaning, maybe playing an instrument, use a software to create stuff, manual work...)

Mario is of course number 1.

@Wewewi What game looks like Bananza in the past 10 years ? They made a pretty interesting use of an underused game mechanic, with all the "taking a chunk of the terrain and using it in different ways"

Main problem is : if the amiibos unlock anything else than absolutely useless feature, you can bet some youtubers are gonna make videos about it, ranting how "Nintendo is greedy", or whatever, just to get some sweet sweet views (for example, useless youtuber Yong Yea with Metroid Prime 4).

They don't really have a choice honestly. Animal Crossing New Horizons is the best they can do with amiibos : it gives you the exact villager you want, but it's not mandatory by any mean and it's just a bonus for diehards fans of one specific character.

I mean, look at this comment section ! 99% of time, amiibos are utterly useless, but people still find a way to complain.

@SillyG Dude, I get what you are saying, but this type of commercial practice exist since the 360 / PS3 era. This generation is, saddly, just the follow up.

Not a fan of this new Divinity game. Too graphic and gore for my tastes. Hope it's ported on Switch 2 for those interested though !
