Cyberpunk 2077. Such a bless on Switch 2.

@Dm9982 Lower than 64gb express sd cards just are not that common. No one, before Switch 2, bought a 16gb express sd card for example

That's why Nintendo only offers 64gb : they don't have the manufacturing capacities to produce anything else.

It's crazy to think both Cyberpunk 2077 and Pokémon Z-A run on the same hardware.

And more importantly : they are both priced the same.

On one hand, you have one of the most breathtaking video game setting ever created, one so well crafted and full of details you litteraly never want to fast travel, just to take it all in.

On the other hand, you have Pokémon Z-A. What did they do to make the setting interesting or captivating ? Nothing. It's generic city 101, there are Pokémons, that's it. No sense of ambiance or mood.

Welp, there's something new to add to my collection of "great things the internet kinda ruined and I'm glad I was not on it when I experienced them"
This list includes Wind Waker, the Star Wars prequels, and now, MK Double Dash.

Double Dash is 100% pure fun. Plain and simple. This is what this series should aim to be imo, and MK World kinda approached it, but not fully, same for MK Wii. MK DS and MK 7 were snore fest. MK 8 was a mix bag for me, it's content rich, but something holds it from being a really fun game.

I have no interest in Kirby racing games, however considering Sakurai is behind it, I'm excepting an extremely content-packed experience with fun gameplay, so why not

But people, we already got the "My Mario" line of products, the anniversary is over 😏

More seriously, it would be such a missed opportunity to not release a new 3D Mario alongside the next Mario movie. Both would help each other's sales

This is why I could never get into collecting stuff. There is too much BS involved for what is essentially plastic and / or cardboard.

I just bought Cyberpunk 2077 and so far I'm liking it : it runs great but more than that, it seems like an incredible RPG, especially its setting and the way the game fully immerse you in it

I also bought "Is this seat taken", it's really cute, I recommand it

I tried Mina and... yeah, I'm really not digging the way it controls and this digging ability. I know it's part of the challenge, but having a small delay between your jump and the moment you dig is kind of frustrating. Hard pass for this game when it comes out

That's great and all, but isn't this what AIs company do on an industrial level, with billions of artworks stolen and reused ?

Tried it, not really my cup of tea honestly. The controls feel weird and I don't like how you can only attack in 4 directions. I guess it's supposed to mimick old school games. The game does have a charming retro look though, I will give it that !

I gave it a 6/10. I was not interested in most games shown in the direct except for "Is this seat taken ?" which looks really interesting in concept and even art style.

The fact it releases today is also pretty great !

Some people thought Silksong had some sort of exclusive deal with Micro$oft : turns out it's just gonna show up in the studio-killing gamepass, but Team Cherry has no moral obligation to appear in any direct put by Micro$oft

People think timelines are important for Donkey Kong and Zelda when those franchises were invented by Miyamato, the infamously anti-story guy at Nintendo that completely made up story stuff on the spot when asked about it

Not everything needs to be a shared cinematic universe, and in this case, a shared gaming universe

It's really a nothing burger. They will just ask for proper permission next time and that's it.

Nintendo do not want to get their IPs involved with anything bad looking. You know, stuffs like Darth Vador saying racial slurs and stuff... And I fully understand them. Their IPs are the most important aspect of their business. Getting a few articles pointing how strict they are with it is completely inconsequential to them.

I kinda wish for BG3 to be ported first though, I want to do a new campaign on my switch 2 and test the classes introduced in the final patch

The first NS2 edition that may actually be worth it :

• the ENTIRE game is enhanced (I cannot believe Mario Party was not, for that alone I did not upgrade)
• it looks really pretty
• the new content seems quite substantial !

I will definitely get it.

I want to play Metroid Prime 4 so bad

I noticed the more Square Enix chooses stupid names for their games, the better they end up being.

Nothing can quite beat Triangle Strategy of course, but this one is shapping up to be incredible

Finally. Honestly this game could have been ported to Switch 1 but apparently it was too much for Atlus 🤣
I'm happy to see it now. I played 5 hours of it before my portable PC died, so... really looking forward to it.

@Friendly Hey ! Just so you know, the studio behind Hi-fi rush is still alive ! After Microsoft shut it down, it was bought back by another publisher, alongside... Hi-fi rush itself !

That's the only "Microsoft-produced" game I'm willing to buy in this list, because the money do not go to them anymore

I voted for :

• Something totally new
• Persona 3 Reload
• The follow-up to Hollow Knight

And I think we have good chances go get the three of them. Yes, even the last one. No shadow drop, but just a gameplay trailer and a release date.

Well considering everything Nintendo dropped those past two days, I was half-expecting a partner showcase. And I'm really excited for it as we need more infos on third party games for Switch 2.

I want to see Persona 3 and Metaphor Refantazio on Switch 2, that would be really sweet. And if Sony is really bringing some games, Gravity rush 1 and 2 would be a great start !

I don't know if the tsunami is gonna impact it or not as it seems the alert for most regions in Japan has been lifted

There is definitely a Direct soon, but maybe not tomorrow considering the recent events

Nintendo should really announce Directs in advance, maybe 2 weeks before, that would be very much appreciated

Donkey Kong Bananza. Finished the game this week after 30 hours, I'm full on 100% completing it now.

The only things I would be interested in :
Bloodborne, Gravity rush 1 and 2, Ico, SOTC, TLG, Astrobot, Ape escape games, the old ratchet and clank games in some remastered form (not the new ones that are meh)

So 99% chance we wont getting these, as Sony does not even care about it on its own plateform, and these geniuses axed the studio behind most of these masterpiece !

Not interested in anything Microsoft has to offer.

As far as I'm concerned, they are dead to me. I'm not giving them money anymore. They are just a plague for this whole industry...

There is definitely a direct coming soon with all these switch 2 games getting their rating

Bananza is indeed the best game in the series. I don't know how it can be up to debate at this point. And no, it's a little bit more than "punching the ground". The game litteraly give you every clue in its level design so you never have to dig randomly.

@somnambulance Yup, same feeling here. We should start a petition for Nintendo to start announcing their Direct well in advance, it's so much better

I'm really excited about it, even though Bananza is an incredible game that will keep me busy for weeks, I want new game announcements, and a release date for Metroid Prime 4.

No idea how can anyone give this game anything lower than 9. It's honestly the best 3D plateformer I ever played.

This game was done dirty by reviewers. And for what reason ? Framerate drops ? I experienced 2 noticables ones in 20 hours, outside of this boss battle where, yes, occasionnaly it drops pretty significantly. Most games would dream to have such a steady framerate. And such a bug free experience. And yet, here we are...

Really nice feature, reminds me of a lot of games of the PS2 and gamecube era which added this sort of stuff for no other reason than "it's fun !"

DK Bananza !! This game is so fun, I played it for 6 hours or so, played it a little bit more than 1 hour in the train coming back from work, litteraly did not see time pass
And I heard things get better and better, especially toward the end, so I'm sooooo excited !!

Might play a little bit of splatoon 3 too, because this game ROCKS !!

@Flapflop Switch 2 is not 500 bucks

On this tiiiiiiiny screenshot, it looks fine, but I think in motion it was actually pretty bad, considering all the destruction. I think those frame drops would have been far more frequent, and, well, the game would not run at 60 fps, no way.

That's stupid and Square Enix could completly create a switch 2 update.

Well we won't see much eslop games for the moment anyway, as most devs do not even have access to dev kits.

@RupeeClock It's highly possible they are keeping this Robobot remaster on hold, and are gonna release it when there's not much else around. They do this all the time. So while the game is ready, maybe it wont release until next year.

Well, that's pretty much confirmed then. Good lord, it took quite some time for Nintendo but they are finally doing it !

Splatoon 3 ! I'm loving this game so far. Playing it a little bit every day. Also, there's a splatfest this week end !
