im having a great time with it. it would be very difficult to go back haha. i love the bigger size, better hardware, the joy con 2’s and all of the little charming details in it. nintendo didnt take many risks, and i think that was the way to go! 9/10! i hope for more joy con colors in the future and possibly themes too 😅

im still working my way through majoras mask, im loving all the side quests and the world and story!!! im taking my time with it, so im not even halfway through 🥲 also mario kart world w family and doing free roam. and mightttt jump into splat 3 for the fest. TOO MANY GAMES TOO LITTLE TIME.

i just finished a link to the past on snes, and it might beat totk for my favorite zelda art style. the story was also surprisingly good, and the combat as well. the only thing that irked me slightly was all yhe backtracking but thats okay 😝😝 now this weekend im going to go start Majoras Mask which i am very much looking forward to since it seems exactly my vibe.
also, mario kart world with family and friends, duh!!!

the direct (unfortunately) convinced me to buy this day one i think. the world looks huge, and the gameplay looks sooo fun. unresistably fun. and the story doesnt look half bad, i love the addition of pauline and singing! the music, graphics, EVERYTHING just looks so charming. however, since im not a huge donkey kong fan i think prime 4 or kirby air riders or even mario kart might get my vote. of course, i dont know until i play them 😝
@PikminMarioKirby right ?!! i feel like people have been overlooking kirby air riders, the sneak peak of it looks like its gonna be a big one. and sakurai leading it? i think it could bring the kirby series to greater heights honestly!

@BenAV look, i get the dissatisfaction with the price tags and whatever, and i can understand why you dont like yhe chaos, but why is it boring to you? i feel like this is the least boring entry of the series. like you can literally play as “Cataquack”, ride on a dinosaur, flip up a geyser, squish people with a mega mushroom, and do crazy rail shortcuts. while racing a variety of characters in quirky carts. so im really curious what would make it “not” boring for you 😂

i know most people havent been satisfied with it, but i love it. you can lose hours in the world, and i love looking at all yhe details! clearly a lot of love and effort was put into it, even if its not botw scope. i do think its a missed opportunity to add boss battles/rewards for missions, but i understand that mightve been too much, cant wait to 100% this 😝

today im starting A Link to the Past since im obsessed with the zelda timeline after finishing OOT (still THINKING about the game). also love my snes games, so im excited to play!
im also gonna keep playing the glorious Mario Kart World, with family and by myself. Fifteen hours in, and still so much i want to do in it…trying to unlock all the characters and find a ufo 😛
also i played splatoon 3 the day of the update and wow soo much smoother, and now i want to go back to the splatlands. sighhh

lowkey i think a the screen is fine, and because the tradeoff is a gorgeous 1080 display handheld and 60fps, i am perfectly satisfied with no oled. not to deny that the oled is nice, but the switch 2’s lcd is pretty good! im sorry to hear peoples screens are blurring and everything though 💔

rainbow road is absolutely stellar, so pretty! boo cinema wad also a really unique one that ive been enjoying a lot, and acorn heights and the sky high sundae remake are some of my favorites. all of them have so much detail and so much to like about them though!

phew, nintendo you cant just surprise me like that good grief! wow, a splatoon exclusively single player game is what ive dreamed of for a long time, im so hyped! and the return of deep cut!!! ack! the visuals are gorgeous, and the style looks amazing. okay ill stop yapping but wow. i cannot wait for more info.

i think this might be the end of hope for a direct for june though, which is sad. im predicting one early september, and maybe a DK direct and metroid prime 4 and drag + drive announcement for august
