I bought this at a flea market in 2019. I was hesitant at $5, but I knew Miyamoto was behind it and took the risk. I found out it’s really worth $30, and is definitely fun enough to buy for its full price. Glad I got to experience it cheap!

Kirby’s Super Star Stacker should be added to the Japanese NSO. That would give countless (non-emulator) players a chance to try it for the first time!

On a side note, I just found and bought a pristine copy of it at a retro game shop several states over. For $60 (a steal), it even came with the plastic baggie that contained it 20 years ago! I was extraordinarily lucky.

Like this guy's videos, but $70 is pricey for a book and some knickknacks. Love the CE cover and cartridge, though!

Man, this question really puts into perspective how little I spend on new releases. The only one of these I’ve bought is New Snap (though I played PAC-MAN 99 for an hour in April). New Snap for me.

This isn’t content that was planned for the base game, is it? I’m hoping not, but if it’s free, I suppose there’s nothing wrong.

@Wavey84 I personally love DKC3 more than 2, but I know that’s an unpopular opinion. All the DKCs are excellent, but 3 is fantastic. One of my favorite games.

I guarantee Zelda won’t get the same G&W numbers, if all these unsold units are anything to go by.

Don’t prematurely knock a game you haven’t tried, regardless of its obscurity. I recently got into Donkey Kong 3 on NSO, and it’s one of my favorite NES games currently.

I personally prefer Zero Mission and Fusion to Super. Maybe that’s just me.

I’ve accidentally been playing half a dozen DK games. You ever played Donkey Kong 3? It’s fun!

Ys VIII is rare and expensive now, so I'm definitely getting this physically before they run out.

Anyone planning to buy this? It looks good, but I'm content with my slightly warped system. It's lame they didn't add one more USB port so I could plug in a second GCN adapter (and get rumble with it).

One thing to consider is that this could be a Star Fox Zero situation. The "animation" could be a 15-minute episode that never gets a followup, for a bold game that doesn't please everyone. Here's hoping it's better than that, of course.

@Desrever At this point, you can consider amiibo an unusual purchase. They release so few each year they might as well be viewed as seasonal gifts. Like how I plan to buy every G&W Nintendo releases, knowing full well they’ll stop after two or three.

I’m not deleting something on which I spent a substantial amount.

My hope is that the lack of Kirby at E3 could mean a Kirby-themed direct is in the future. A direct would more likely than not contain more than one game, with a Rainbow Curse port possibly being one of announcements before the big game they've hyped up. With all the Kirby games HAL pumps out, sometimes up to three in a year, Rainbow Curse could happen. Here's hoping.

This E3 was awesome… for many people. I was mostly excited for others, getting Advance Wars and WarioWare, Fatal Frame and Super Monkey Ball. I’m not huge on those series, but it’s cool seeing them return. I loved Dread, and having BotW2 and Smash Bros. was great! Here’s hoping Splatoon 3, Kirby’s big game, and Donkey Kong show up next direct.

Works for me. Anyone who’s complaining that a game and DLC this year, a huge game next year, and a retro game device this Christmas is inadequate for an anniversary is very spoiled. Other series are getting one new game disconnected from any coincidental anniversary, and many more are lying dormant. Zelda’s future is extremely secure—enjoy the several games and paraphernalia Ninty’s offering you. Besides, it’s not like WW and TP will never return.
