I already bought an import 3DS for VC games in September. I did it for Trip World (Game Boy), but Picross e9 and Mario no Picross 2 are better. I've already bought and played Balloon Fight GB and the Frog Bell game--the latter deserves a Link's Awakening-styled remake on Switch.

I just bought the Zelda Collector’s Edition for GameCube because I thought it’d be great for emulating Majora’s Mask.

Turns out it’s absolutely not.

Given how I felt about both Three Houses and FE Warriors, I'm definitely skipping this one. Wake me when Xenoblade Warriors gets announced.

Does it cost money?

Mostly focused on the first half of the year, AKA be surprised when they announce things with August and October release dates.

We’ll get DDR Zelda Mix; Diddy Kong Racing Transformed; Mario Party Roadtrip, a return to awful Mario Party; edible Joy-Cons that have special usage in BOTW2; Kirby’s Return to Kirby’s Dream Land, featuring no Copy Abilities and monochrome visuals; New Pokémon Dash; an untitled game where Yoshi’s tongue gets stolen and he must fight enemies by playing rock-paper-scissors, Star Fox Adventures HD which will determine the fate of the series, and a new IP, Echo, that has no visuals whatsoever to make you progress using echolocation.

Oh, and a new F-Zero, if you’re into that.

Now that the 3DS is old, I think it’d be cool if a YouTuber made a video series about all the obscure/forgotten Nintendo games on there—Harmoknight, BOXBOY!, Pocket Card Jockey, Code Name: S.T.E.A.M., Tank Troopers, Quetzal’s Corridors, Nintendo Badge Arcade, Ever Oasis, and the StreetPass Mii Plaza games. I like to picture Somecallmejohnny doing it as a marathon.

My cat chewed up Galaxia (Meta Knight’s sword) years ago, so I might pick one up.

In 2013, I traded Kirby Air Ride for four average or sub-average GB/GBC games. Only one—Game & Watch Gallery 3–was good enough to make up for the rest, and now Air Ride is absurdly expensive to rebuy.

@JJtheTexan It’d be great if they offered M-rated games for separate download on the eShop that then were slotted into the NSO catalogue. That way you’re choosing to put it on your system. You buy it and then the system checks to see if you’re an NSO member before letting you play.

I’m most excited for the fact that it looks like it’s coming from the same team that made my favorite spin-offs, Mass Attack and Rainbow Curse. It looks incredibly similar to Kirby Battle Royale in several ways, which fits my hypothesis.

They haven’t given any indication it’ll be delayed. 100% sure. Nobody’s questioning Kirby or Splatoon 3, despite them having nebulous release dates.

Day One purchase for sure, was hoping they'd make a sequel after they announced the Splatocalypse. To get my adrenaline surging, we need a dedicated direct to show off everything new.

Year itself? 3/10. Friends leaving single-file or fighting with me, pets dying, had a mess of dark thoughts for long stretches of time, and there weren’t even many good games releasing! Next year has to be better… it has to…

Nintendo’s year? 6/10. I bought New Snap and Dread, and the Smash DLC was great! But I’m not overly interested in the other stuff. Next year has to be better with Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, BOTW2, and more awesomeness. I’ve got a good feeling my wallet’s gonna sting then.

This is on 3DS VC, if I’m not mistaken. $2 is a much nicer price.

Do you think the physical Switch cart will still release with the DLC on it? I remember reading that years ago.

I seem to be in the majority saying this, but can we stop calling Zelda II the worst Zelda? I feel that the Zelda series has moved so far away from it that II doesn’t really represent a typical Zelda game being subpar—it’s too different to say that. I’d go for something like Skyward Sword or Tri Force Heroes, as they became boring or weird AFTER the Zelda series figured out its identity.

What was so bad about the first game? Haven’t played it, just curious.

Bought DKC3’s box just last week. Very happy with it.

I replayed Jungle Beat in September and now my rare E3 bongos squeak when I use them. I feel bad about that. At least I have three more pairs that aren’t as rare.

Since the spinoffs aren't here, I have to default to Diamond/Pearl, solely because my older brother would let me mine for spheres and build a booby-trapped secret base on his save file. Great times that I'll never get back.

The Animal Crossing DLC inclusion reeks of Nintendo deciding the price before the content. As someone who doesn't own Animal Crossing, couldn't I drop the DLC to lower the price? Answer's sadly no.

LEGO Bogmire is sick! I hope more sets will be based on Mansions 2 and 3, but this is very welcomed regardless.

It’s worth mentioning that several aspects look strikingly similar to the forgotten Kirby Battle Royale from 2017/2018: Several animations and facial expressions seem pulled from it, as do some Copy Ability move sets. Judging from the look of the Beast Army shown here, the game may have a sillier tone than other entries, like Battle Royale before it. Interesting!

It’d be more cost effective to buy B-K alone, IMO. I’ve got the N64 and Genesis games I want, minus this and several they didn’t reveal.

Here's hoping it's an awesome change to the status quo. I love Kirby, but even I've been slightly disenfranchised with the games since 2018. A bold, ambitious game is overdue.
