Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?

6/10 As someone who defended the fans against the critics with the first movie…this one is noticeably worse. Even when other people say that movies have breakneck pace, I never really feel it, but this movie…oh my word, you get absolutely no time to breathe. Rosalina was underutilized, there were too many characters and subplots, but ultimately it had quite a few great elements that made it a positive experience, especially the climax which went so hard. Maybe it’s just the novelty of seeing Mario in theaters wearing off, but I stand more with the critics on this one

Hot take: this movie is not gonna make nearly as much as the first. I think this crazy opening weekend is mostly from all the huge fans who went to go see it, but after bad reviews from critics and fans, a lot of people being unhappy with the first one, and (another hot take), a questionable decision to name it after Galaxy considering a lot of older and newer fans have never played those games, I expect this movie to only get 800-900 million, which is still a lot, but not as much as the first

Re: LEGO Pokémon Reveals First Sets, Launches February 2026

@15roundTKO I’m not buying any of these sets, as I don’t play Pokémon, but I agree with you that over $600 is a lot to spend on a Lego. But saying that it should’ve been cheaper is in reality asking for it to be smaller. As for the 10 cents per piece, I’m not saying that it’s MY formula, I heard it from other people years ago, it’s just what I use at a quick glance to see if I personally think a set is worth it. If you have a different method, more power to you. If you’re saying that it’s ’out of control’ in regard to how big the sets are…I mean just don’t buy them 🤷‍♂️

@15roundTKO my formula for seeing if a set is worth it is 10 cents per piece, which all these sets fall under. For being a licensed theme and having a lot of big pieces (both of which normally make the price bigger), this is a pretty good deal. Most people on here seem to love the sets but are turned away by the price, but that’s just normal Lego for a set that big. Like you said, it’s one of the most expensive, but it’s also one of the biggest. If you wanted something cheaper, it would have to be smaller

Re: Surprise! Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Arrives Next Year

Um… this looks absolutely incredible. The amiibo functionality looks worthwhile, the graphics upgrade and megaphone look nice, and all the new items look amazing! The hotel seems exactly like the happy home thing though, and the slumber island seems a little weird. But I’ll definitely be picking up the Switch 2 edition and playing the new update. It’s out two days before my birthday!
