Dude, I’m so tired of the game. I’ve been playing it since December 2014 and have been ready to move on for years. I know I’m literally the only one who thinks this, but I wish Mario kart 8 Deluxe never came out and we had just gotten a new installment in like 2019

@Mykcir yeah, I don’t get it why people say the Wii U was bad. Just because the marketing and sales are bad doesn’t mean the console as a console was. Most people saying it was bad never even had one. The games are probably the best in Nintendo’s history with NSMBU, Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo Land, Pikmin 3, Yoshi’s Woolly World, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Captain Toad, Breath of the Wild and so much more. A massive chunk of the Switch’s library is made up of Wii U titles, including three of the top ten! The Switch is a truly amazing console, but I think the Wii U deserves a lot more attention than it gets

A salute to the great console the switch is 🫡 (although the Wii U is still better)

What I really want is a better way to find sales. There should be a page for Nintendo published games on sale and a wish list that gives you notifications when a game there goes on sale. That’s all I really want. Oh, and no lag PLEASE

It’s cool Nintendo is trying new things but horror isn’t my thing, so I’ll pass on this on this one

Played it with my dad last night. Both of us really loved the Wii sports resort basketball and we both thought this was pretty fun. The shooting is a bit different, the dunking is weird and stealing the ball is way too easy, but besides that it was pretty good

@Spider-Kev I would hardly call something an unfinished work just because of a few bugs. Every game has a few and they could’ve left them in and it wouldn’t have impacted sales, but Nintendo wants to keep their standards high. People need to stop complaining about Nintendo for selling “unfinished games” when they either have just a lack of content (Mario sports games) and just a few bugs, the latter definitely is not an unfinished game. Through over 20 hours of TTYD it’s one of the smoothest games I’ve played

Yeah, this has something I’ve always thought would never happen. I mean I don’t think it’ll be a Wii U failure but I feel like it’ll have pretty good sales

@HatesCheese true. Wii Sports Resort is one of my most nostalgic games but I always thought the air sports, cycling, basketball and power cruising were better. Maybe people just like Matt beating them senseless 😂

I hear a lot of people saying they want boxing back. I honestly thought that was one of the worst sports in the series, but that’s just my opinion

Definitely still confused why they waited so long, but I’m still pumped for it. Basketball was easily the second best Wii Sports Resort sport besides island flyover

I dunno for sure how I stand on this issue, but I agree that Nintendo has a right to guard their IPs and fan art can either scare away from or drum up interest in a product. I can see it being used to the advantage of Nintendo and the disadvantage and if they think the cons outweigh the pros, well then that’s the best decision

@Tayrailbridge yeah, 3 was basically the game that got me to branch out into more Nintendo franchises. I’ll probably go back for another play through sometime

I personally like Pikmin 3 more than 4 but don’t wanna go back to it in case my memories of it made it better than it was

Paper Mario is the only 2024 game I’ve gotten so far so I guess that’s GOTY. Can’t see why people would put Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, a 11 year old game that barely looks better than its original release

No tomadachi life? 😢 glad Yoshi’s woolly world was on there though

Not really into theses as I prefer physical games more. Only time I got ones was to get totk without paying the $70

I’ve played this game too much. I have thousands of toads and am past over a hundred areas in remix 10. Maybe I’ll try a few of these challenges

I noticed something was up in the direct when none of the new games had “available to preorder” after them. Can’t decide if pyoro going down is a good thing though. I certainly enjoyed watching people decode his cryptic hints, but it’s nice at the same time to have unspoiled directs

Sad. Never played a DK game before and was hoping to get this since it comes out the day before my birthday. But $60 is too much for this

@TotalHenshin it’s a pretty good game but very glitchy and time consuming. I’d suggest getting Animal Crossing if you’re willing to spend a bit more

I enjoyed Luigi’s Mansion 3 but $60 is way too much to spend on a lackluster 3DS remaster. I’ll probably get a 3DS and get that version for cheaper

I remember being scared of the box art of the Wii version as a kid lol. This is kinda outrageous though as you can pick up a Wii copy for less than ten dollars

Never played any of the franchises mentioned in the article, but I’d be happy to try a new earthbound entry as the games look neat

I’m a big LOTR fan, but I think Animal Crossing and Dreamlight Valley are all the games of this genre I can handle

Still on the fence about getting this game. Never played a Metroid game before, but if everyone’s so hyped for it maybe I’ll give it a shot

@Retrodouche sorry, but I started on the Wii U and playing the same game for 10 years gets old. The dlc tracks were fine but mostly lazy. From 2015-2024 we got eight new tracks: battle arena, dragon palace, sweet sweet kingdom, lunar colony, urchin underpass, sky high sundae, yoshi’s island and squeaky clean sprint. Two cups worth isn’t worth nine years of waiting, especially when over half are mediocre battle tracks. But this is all just my opinion, if you think a decade old port with dlc suffices for this Mario kart draught, then I envy you

Had a lot of great announcements but for some reason I felt a bit disappointed. Nothing here screamed ‘Day one buy’ for me for some reason

Might pick this up. I only own Mario Party Superstars and it’s a good game I but don’t see the need for more than one

Was definitely not expecting a Nintendo Switch Sports update this late. Gotta admit, basketball was one of my favorite sports on Wii sports resort so I’ll be sure to check this one out

I know everyone is so sad that there hasn’t been a new DK game in years with just two rereleases now but may I point out that Mario kart has had nothing but ONE PITIFUL RERELEASE IN TEN YEARS! Sorry I just hate Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and it gets me so mad when people say it’s the greatest switch game

Cool. This is a Zelda game I’m more likely to pick up even though I’m not a huge fan of the series
