I don't really see the problem with what he's said to be honest. I'd assume they've done lots of market research indicating that the types of gamers they cater to are likely to buy Fifa games. So if Fifa is their flagship game as we tend to know it is then if they launch that on a nintendo machine andnit does well the indications will be that there is likely to be a market for their other games. If it does poorly then the indications will be the reverse.

The difference this time is that they seem to be putting a fair bit of effort into this one, they are releasing it alongside other systems and haven't drastically cut it down. I think it will do quite well to be honest, I've pre-ordered and itll be my first fifa in about 10 years

Id imagine its more a case of seeing if it can be done, as with a lot of mods, like running doom on a washing machine. There's no point but its proving it can be done

There isn't a lot I actually want from capcom anyway these days. I'd really like Marvel vs Capcom which I think is a distinct posibility. After that Street Fighter 7 and Devil May Cry, that's about it really.

I held off on getting this until all the fixes were sorted , what are the specific switch issues still to be fixed, just the hanheld resolution?

There has to be more to that story, it makes no sense unless they make some sort of monetary gain from it

The thing is we don't know what stock will be like, these are just pre-orders at the moment lets see how many more pop up and if retailers get regular shipments.

It does seem strange that Nintendo is reluctant to mass produce these things though

Capcom seems to continually shoot itself in the foot these days, they really do make some odd decisions.

Is it possible that nintendo could be having some problems with Retro or that they juat aren't developing a game currently? It just seems really strange to me that we've heard nothing from them for what now 3 years?

I think this looks really good, the frostbite is neither here nor there to me, if the game does well they might just bring parity with the other consoles next year if it's really that important. The switch has its own unique selling points that PS4 XB1 don't though so I'm happy with what we are getting. it'll be my first Fifa since about 2009, looking forward to it now.

My main concern with Arms is the single player mode, I still don't feel like I know anything about it.

Why does the headset need to wired at all, connecting the switch to the phone should open up a suitable bluetooth connection which should allow the headphones to connect via wireless

Judging by their most recent comments I don't think it's Bayonetta 3 or a Nintendo IP, something new perhaps?

I bought USF2 and must say I've enjoyed playing it a lot the last few days, I would like this to pave way for SF6 in the future

Just reading some of the comments, Im not sure way of the hado is a reason to mark the game down. Its a tacked on extra and not really a selling point for the game, its an extra mode that you would probably play for about 10 minutes.

If you are buying this its for pure SF2 which is the reason I'll be picking it up £30 isnt too bad

So the plug retails for £25, you can get a HDMI lead for a few pounds, lets say £5 so that's £30.

So the dock costs £49.99? That obscene to me for what is just a piece of plastic.

Seeing this makes me wonder what a switch 2 could be like in 6 or 7 years. I think it's a fantastic console can't wait to see what the future holds.

Sounds like it has the potential to be a good game after an update, they should have held it back for a month or so to get the updates to the performance and tweaks to the AI done.

It'll be Metroid Prime IV I'm fairly certain, one thing the Switch (and Wii U) missed is a top notch FPS game, this could be the type of game to bring in those sorts of gamer who would go for a Halo or GOW type game

Thats pretty impressive, they've been quite clever in getting on early and targeting that retro market before nintendo launches a virtual console service. I've enjoyed Metal Slug and I will get Samurai Showdown once I get my pro controller and SF2

I'd have thought a live stage show would have been the way to go this year. It seems strange to me that they've chosen not to come out all guns blazing and build on the early success of the switch.

It probably confirms more than anything that they really aren't going for that xb1 ps4 market and they probably think a lot of their consumer base wont be interested in an e3 stage show

It'll be monster hunter, hopefully they bring marvel vs capcom as well, which might be quite do-able if SF2 uses the same engine

It won't impact at all on the switch, why would it? The games are different, the market is probably at 3ds saturation point, so while it will probably sell ok it wont take away from switch.

7 weeks till launch and feel we still don't know an awful lot about the game, I hope its as good as that headline appears to make out.

Surprised to see Mario Kart 7 still in the million sellers, that's quite amazing really

@westman98 also looking at the graph the drop off in weeks 2 and 3 with the spike in week 4 for switch was likely because of stock shortages otherwise we would have seen a much smoother curve heading into week 5. That upward trajectory is looking good, it'll only improve with with Mario Kart and Splatoon, maybe Arms, we'll have to wait and see

I don't understand why Nintendo wouldn't want to get this on the Switch, unless it's something to do with Adelman, maybe his relationship with Nintendo isn't what he thought it was

@SLIGEACH_EIRE yet it will take a few years before we get mario kart 9 so it makes sense to do what they have done with 8. Nintendo could feasibly have never released the two wii u packs they did and they could have added them as brand new content to the switch release to make it more appealing, but then they would have been criticised for that too wouldn't they.

I think this makes a lot of sense especially as a lot of switch owners in the next 12 months will never have played mario kart 8

On a slightly different topic part of me wonders what would happen if Nintendo just re-released a mini snes, controllers, scope etc and started making games for it again, I reckon it would actually do pretty well for a while
