This game makes more sense as a physical release on Switch than XB1 and PS4 tbh. As much as I want this game, I'm not spending $60 on a downloaded game. But that's just me.
Yeah I only buy digital if the game is only available digitally, or in the rare case when the digital game is like 75% off the retail price. I see zero value in digital games once you're done playing, especially with Nintendo. I could put someone through college with all the games I have, but I wouldn't be able to say the same for a digital library. Not that I plan on selling my games
For the right price I will definitely get this. It's hard to really mess up mini golf. I highly recommend Fun Fun Minigolf on 3DS though. It's usually on sale and the graphics are nice in 3D.
The digital Prima guides are a decent "reward", but this program is horrible, horrible, horrible. Another example of their incompetence outside of actual games and hardware. It's pretty bad when Sony Rewards ( a real thing) is a better rewards platform. I can even get points by taking pictures of movie tickets!
It always amazes me how incompetent Nintendo can be when their games are so great. But very incompetent on nearly everything else. This infuriates me because had they announced this as a limited edition, I would have relatively easily bought one at launch by camping out. Instead I'm not ever going to have one because I refuse to put $300 in the pocket of punks.
I returned mine. It's too half baked for me, but I liked the build quality. I'll buy a new one once the online is explained and the web browser is released/unlocked.
This is the most surprisingly awesome 3DS game I have ever played. Granted I am a Dragonball fan since ten years old. If you like Dragonball this is a must own. If you like turn based RPGS, this is a must own. The visuals are amazing for 3DS, and there are 4 large open worlds you can fly around as you wish. The crazy thing is there is NO FOG in the open world. You can fly all the way to the top of the sky and look down and see EVERYTHING. 9/10 for me.
I have almost never complained about shorter game lengths, especially when there are other things to do. Now just put this out in a box and I am buying it!
To me it would have been a dumb move to phase 3DS out, especially when there is so much potential with it as a budget system. The New 3DS (face plates) is the sexiest handheld I've ever seen, especially with my camouflage plate on there. I would really like to see the regular New 3DS put out in mass qualities because the original batch sold out in 5 minutes.
Ubisoft might not be putting much on Switch, but so far so good with what they actually are. Hopefully EA and the like also put a lot of effort into whatever they release. I think that would be a great way to earn goodwill with Nintendo fans, while also having a strong product. Therefore we can't blame them when it doesn't sell anything. Anyway I'm getting this.
@rennandovale I don't think being disappointed in the Switch makes anyone dumb. Also, I think if there were only 3 models of car on the market they would get compared pretty extensively. Try again.
So the Switch is under powered and won't get any good 3rd party support. Tell me something I wouldn't have guessed a year ago. Still disappointing but hey at least we have HD RUMBLE!!....
Sorry, I didn't read the article. Because I already agree, and there is no way I will be buying this. The most I would pay for a physical copy of this game is $20, and $10 for a download. HD rumble is either just there for a future VR configuration, or Nintendo has officially lost it's damn mind.
It just keeps getting better. Other than shortages, I see no way this doesn't follow the Wii U's first year sales trajectory. So far HD rumble seems to be a completely unnecessary gimmick that is upping the cost of the console considerably. I'm sure it's cool feeling the bumps in the road in Mario Kart, but I don't want to pay $50 for it. And why the hell is the IR blaster at the bottom of the Joy con? So when using it as a pointer, there is literally no button to press, only the control stick. It makes the Wii's love it or hate it FPS control scheme impossible, where the joy cons could have actually improved it. What the hell.
Relagating online functions to a phone is EXTREMELY disappointing! The phone app should be a companion to the Switch, not required for basic functions. WTF
The 3D effect is amazing, and it's crazy to think it might live and die with this system. IMO having the 3D on more than made up for the lack of HD resolution on the console. I shudder to think how amazing an actual HD game in glasses-free 3D would look. One day, maybe...
Eh. I only buy digital games when they are really cheap usually since they have no value once you're finished playing. I guess I'll be waiting for a sale also.
This doesn't excite me at all. Wii U had Assasin's creed, Madden, FIFA (wait did it?). Show me something I HAVEN'T seen on a Nintendo home console in a while or ever. Show me Resident Evil (this one especially given it's past on Gamecube, N64), Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy 55 or whatever number they are on. You catch my drift.
I think it is REALLY poopy that this game or any game that sells for $60 to have it's online servers shut down so soon. Many people buy games like this SOLELY for the online play. I mean you can still play Call of Duty online on Wii...
No multiplayer sucks as always on Nintendo consoles, but this time it's not a deal breaker. I love Fun Fun Minigolf on the 3DS. and this looks fun too!

Nintendo, in general, needs to focus on other, more important things than going after it's players like this and with the Youtube let's plays.
Re: NBA Playgrounds Is Slam Dunking The Switch eShop Next Week
Wanted this to be a physical release, but I'll definitely be getting this eventually if it's digital across the board, which I think it is.

Re: Here's Why Nintendo Switch Games Cost More Than Those For Other Consoles
I'd prefer Nintendo didnt put developers in this situation, but I'd still rather pay extra for a physical copy than not have one at all.

I don't mind. In fact I wouldn't want them to waste time making new art for Amiibo cards...
Re: Super Bomberman R's Retail Price Has Finally Been Confirmed
Nope. The only game worth it's price at launch is Zelda. With only 5 launch games, of course none of them are going to be priced lower than $50....
