Re: Editorial: The Ongoing Pleasures of Nintendo Switch Boxes, Cartridges and (Occasionally) Manuals

Yeah I only buy digital if the game is only available digitally, or in the rare case when the digital game is like 75% off the retail price. I see zero value in digital games once you're done playing, especially with Nintendo. I could put someone through college with all the games I have, but I wouldn't be able to say the same for a digital library. Not that I plan on selling my games

Re: My Nintendo Gets a Fresh Batch of Rewards

The digital Prima guides are a decent "reward", but this program is horrible, horrible, horrible. Another example of their incompetence outside of actual games and hardware. It's pretty bad when Sony Rewards ( a real thing) is a better rewards platform. I can even get points by taking pictures of movie tickets!

Re: Nintendo Has Discontinued The NES Classic Edition in North America

It always amazes me how incompetent Nintendo can be when their games are so great. But very incompetent on nearly everything else. This infuriates me because had they announced this as a limited edition, I would have relatively easily bought one at launch by camping out. Instead I'm not ever going to have one because I refuse to put $300 in the pocket of punks.

Re: Review: Dragon Ball Fusions (3DS)

McGruber

This is the most surprisingly awesome 3DS game I have ever played. Granted I am a Dragonball fan since ten years old. If you like Dragonball this is a must own. If you like turn based RPGS, this is a must own. The visuals are amazing for 3DS, and there are 4 large open worlds you can fly around as you wish. The crazy thing is there is NO FOG in the open world. You can fly all the way to the top of the sky and look down and see EVERYTHING. 9/10 for me.

Re: Kimishima on the Role of the 3DS After the Switch Launch

To me it would have been a dumb move to phase 3DS out, especially when there is so much potential with it as a budget system. The New 3DS (face plates) is the sexiest handheld I've ever seen, especially with my camouflage plate on there. I would really like to see the regular New 3DS put out in mass qualities because the original batch sold out in 5 minutes.

Re: By The Way, The Joy-Con Grip Bundled With Nintendo Switch Won't Charge Your Joy-Cons

McGruber

It just keeps getting better. Other than shortages, I see no way this doesn't follow the Wii U's first year sales trajectory. So far HD rumble seems to be a completely unnecessary gimmick that is upping the cost of the console considerably. I'm sure it's cool feeling the bumps in the road in Mario Kart, but I don't want to pay $50 for it. And why the hell is the IR blaster at the bottom of the Joy con? So when using it as a pointer, there is literally no button to press, only the control stick. It makes the Wii's love it or hate it FPS control scheme impossible, where the joy cons could have actually improved it. What the hell.
