Haven't played since summer. The catching mechanic is fun, but the rest of the experience is really lacking imo.

I just hope it comes to Switch. I really liked Darksiders 2 on Wii U during the short period that I had a U.

I don't have a Wii U anymore, but this is one of the few 2D platformers that I really wanted to play. So happy to see it's coming to the 3DS, which I will support like crazy until it's officially dead.

@bluedogrulez The grip has to be included, otherwise there is no good way to play games on the TV. In fact I expect the grip accessory to be what you get when you buy a pack of 2 joy cons. I think they will all be bundled together. At least I think that's how it should be done

Selling the dock and system together at first is the only logical way to go about it. I do hope there is a Pro bundle at launch with the pro controller, 2 additional joy cons, etc.

I'm fine with this. Obviously on the go the games need to be designed for touch screen use, or fail. I am going to miss the 3DS though.

For this reveal I just kind of want one of those videos where it pans around the CG rendered floating device, with shiny black plastic and zero fingerprints. The game on the screen will be Mario 3D, but we won't get any full screen shots until later.

Absolutely. Any Nintendo portable system should have Streetpass. It's my favorite thing about the 3DS

I'm really excited for this. I love the Mario Tennis series and I'll buy this just for that. Glad they actually put online in this, since a bunch of other games announced today are off my radar for that reason...

@Bolt_Strike Amen. They released a lot of games aimed at kids and families, when really the only people who bought Wii U were hardcore gamers like the ones who visit NintendoLife. There's only about 3 or so Wii U games that I REALLY feel I missed out on, including Splatoon.

I just recently bought a Wii again, and I will say I do love the Wii remote by itself as an ALTERNATE control scheme. But, I absolutely just want a "regular" controller in the box for TV play...

I love the art style, but I would have gotten this anyway because there's a big lack of 3D games on 3DS, and 3D games look great in 3D on New 3DS...

I mean this is good but I sold my Wii U a while ago now. I would have liked to play this, since Darksiders 2 was one of the few Wii U games I had a lot of fun with outside of Nintendo's.

I think I'll finally get Dimentium 3D, and maybe Mutant Mudds. I wish they would put the rest of Moon Chronicles on sale as I've had "Episode 1" for a while now.

Assuming there are enough people playing this to get matches going, this irks me. The people who spent money on this game should be rewarded and not spit on imo. And the type of person who buys this and plays online is probably a hardcore Nintendo fan... If I was a recent purchaser, I would contact Nintendo about a refund because by the looks of it the online component was the only worthwhile part of this game.

@LegendOfPokemon You should check out the DS version. To me it is far superior than playing the OG on N64. It plays especially well on 3DS with the circle pad.

Usually these type of things don't make me feel old, but man do I feel old now. It's hard to believe I was 5 or 6 when I first played Super Mario 64 in a Kmart. I was FLOORED by it. Just jumping around that castle was amazing and I don't know if kids will ever feel that way about a game again. My mom asked me a whole bunch of times "Are you sure this is the game you want with the system?" and I was like "This is the only game I want!!!" And for christmas that year I got a N64

To me the game looks fun, visuals aside. I'll be picking up a 3DS copy after reading the Nintendo Life review.

I would be interested if they got rid of the terraforming or Minecraft-lite. I tried The Lost Valley and couldn't get into it at all.

@CreamyDream I'm right there with you, but the problem is the Wii U didn't have enough games. I think people want Nintendo to give in and make a console on par with PS4 graphically or stronger because they are justifiably worried about 3rd party support. I want the system to simply have whatever capabilities most 3rd parties want, because I want to play Zelda and COD/Resident Evil on the same system again ughhh

When I had a WiiU (2 years ago?), this was definitely on my radar. As a decent looking game on Wii U, it kind of has to be or what else would be on the radar? As it stands now I just feel bad for those who only have a Wii U.

I really hope so! I have always wanted more 3D (platformer, adventure, etc) games on 3DS.

I hope so! I love my New 3DS and Metroid Prime FF is a letdown. It's not even up to par with Metroid Prime Hunters...

Most of the Kirby games look boring and samey to me, but for some reason I am really looking forward to this one. Kirby on NES was one of my favorite games as a kid. I remember picking it up at Toys R Us and at the time they had tickets you got off the shelf that you brought to the counter lol
