Zen Studios didn't always release every game promptly on the Wii U eShop, but the publisher / developer did back the system longer than most. It's evidently keen to stay on board with Nintendo, too, confirming that Infinite Minigolf will come to the Nintendo Switch eShop alongside equivalent releases on PS4 and Xbox One this Spring (it's already on PC via Steam Early Access).
The big pitch for this one is support for course creation, in theory allowing for an infinite amount of content.
It looks reasonably fun, and Zen Studio remains comfortable with any game focused on ball physics as its many, many pinball titles demonstrate.
Will you be tempted to tee up with this one on Nintendo Switch?

Another indie game. That's par for the course.
Mini golf is a lot of fun with friends in real life, but many dont live near courses unlike me.
So I see it as harmless but really hope they get the physics right.
looks interesting... getting it on PC first. might double dip on PS4 or Switch. (once i can buy a Switch)
Zen Studios did a great job with Pinball so I trust this will be great too, cant wait.
Yeah ! Wonder if it has its own courses as that's not mentioned in the trailer
Mini golf games are always great with friends, kids and adults alike. I hope this is good!
Is this games also Digital download only for ps4/xbox1/pc version ?
Just glad to see Zen's on board making Switch games. Pinball can't be far behind!
This is pretty awesome. Pinball on WiiU was cool but minigolf has so much more replayability in my opinion. I'll probably be playing this for years to come.
This looks really good. Course creation seems like a great idea, don't think I've designed a mini gold course since the Roller Coaster Tycoon days. Definitely has captured my interest. I'll be keen to find out a release date and price.
(Let's ignore that cringy selfie moment though)
@SLIGEACH_EIRE "Another indie game. Par for the course."
Typing is more fun, right?
It reminds me of 3D Ultra Minigolf Adventures 1 and 2. I really loved the 1st one from years back.
A Hungarian studio developing for the Switch! Great! They have the best pinball games and I really hope that they will succeed with this one too.
Looks neat enough. I don't play golf simulators much, but I might consider this one at some point.
Please be physical retail someday....
Ten a penny on mobile phones for free
I seriously hope Nintendo is about to wow us at E3 with 3rd Party support because... Well. Mini-golf.
OK cool... now where is Mario Zen Pinball???
(also including Metroid, DK, Zelda, etc.)
I remember Planet Minigolf being a bit of a mess... hopefully this is way better.
Meh.
I always like a good mini golf. Count me in!
Could be fun. I'll be watching this one.
If it gets us some Pinball, with a way to crossbuy our Wii U purchases, go for it.
Zen bring on the pinball tables to Switch!!
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Badummm tschhhhh!
"Unlimited course creation" Cycles through like 4 of them.
@NintySnesMan plus $600+ per each to get anywhere far within a lifetime?
No one has made a comment on that byline?? Hahahaha
@nhSnork
Not true, download lucky patcher app, it let's you have all in purchase content for free, it's not on playstore but you can get it on the net for free. It basically hacks the game you downloaded
@NintySnesMan well, jolly roger patches don't really count - by that policy, one could just go and grab console golf games to emulate on the phone, I bet their number is even more overwhelming by now. XD
Looks good, positive reviews on Steam. I love golf games, so I will be purchasing.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE
Respect haha 😁
@nhSnork
It's not a emulator, you play the original game youdownloaded through lucky patcher app that's all, it's still same game but gives in app purchases for free, so yeah it does count. Plus the app is completely legal. All your doing is combining the game and the app together
@SLIGEACH_EIRE Congratulations. You have correctly identified that Infinite Minigolf is an indie game. We're all so proud of you.
@NintySnesMan must be some quality loophole dancing if an app giving any players free access to something with a price on it has managed to qualify as legal. And developers don't even bother to patch their games against such workarounds?
@PanurgeJr frankly, it seems like the world has been split between "AAA" and "indie" in some gamers' eyes. And I'm not even sure what's the exact mininum budget (pretty much the only thing "AAA" label implies) that draws the line between the two. XD
@nhSnork
Funny you say that, the more recent games now have a safe guard against it, but older games have no such luck unless the devs can be bothered to revisit them and add a patch. I have no idea why it's legal but playstore banned it, they fought it wasn't fair on the devs that released games on their store. Can get it on Web browser though
For the right price I will definitely get this. It's hard to really mess up mini golf. I highly recommend Fun Fun Minigolf on 3DS though. It's usually on sale and the graphics are nice in 3D.
@SLIGEACH_EIRE That was pretty good - gotta give yah credit there
@Nintendofan83 Thanks.
Hey Zen Studios, don't know if you know this but, you kinda need someone to take over in your music department. It's not great. I've been working with Logic Pro for 13 years and I could nail this. And I'd do it for free too. Gimme a shot. Truthfully, you can't do any worse
Gotta get the Steam version. I want free online.
I really enjoyed the pinball games they had on the Wii U so I will more than likely get this as well. As long as the price isn't too wild.
How can I answer that question without knowing the price?
If it's $100000000 then no I won't buy it.
If it's $.01 then yes I will buy it.
Know them from Wii-U's pinball games, will buy if it's $19.99ish
Since I loved planet mini golf on PS3, I will definitely get this on PS4. If it's good, I'll double dip and buy it on Switch (when I finally decide to own one). Great to see the golf games are going to be making a come back on consoles...still can't wait for Everybody Golf (New Hot Shots) on PS4 this august, and if they announce a Mario Golf for Switch (been a while since a console-release of Mario Golf), then switch will become a purchase for me!
@McGruber Fun Fun Mini Golf is definitely a good title on 3DS, and it's a shame it didn't get more fanbase. Would have been better if they would have also released it on Retail too. Another good one (was on PSP, PS3 and VITA and also on 3DS) is Let's Golf 3D. True Swing Golf on DS wasn't that bad either, but there's still more love for the Mario Golf and Hot Shots Golf games more!!!
I'll wait for a Wii Sports/Mario Golf instalment on Switch.
Caved and got that $500 GameStop bundle with botw and expansion pass, mario kart 8 deluxe, and 128gb memory card, ships on 5/5. Always liked golf games, wish this was regular golf rather than mini, but depending on reviews will check this out.
@JLPick let's golf 3D on the 3ds was a good game!
Nintendo should make a Mario minigolf
@PanurgeJr How on earth did you read that and think he was being serious? Haha
@PuppyToucher I know. I bought in on PS3 when it was a 'mini' title and downloaded it onto the PSP until I found the Hot Shots Golf titles for PSP. Wasn't that bad, but not the best golf game either. The 3DS version picked up a little better with graphics, still kind of hard to see the swing meter and hit the button exactly where you wanted it, but it was fun for the time being while waiting for a decent golf game to arrive on 3DS (in the form of Mario Golf later). Fun Fun Mini Golf was definitely better and more enjoyable (granted I was hoping for DLC to add more courses) but...lacked in a long title to keep on playing...but it's fun to grab those coins!!!
@PorllM You must be new if you don't know what @SLIGEACH_EIRE thinks about indies. Don't worry; he'll repeat himself for the 37,000th time today.
@PanurgeJr Oh I'm well aware. But this particular comment you replied to was a pun and a great one, as opposed to a complaint. Not denying he does those too but this isn't really the place to talk about that.
@PorllM That guy above is a troll. I just ignore him which annoys him even more. Have a look through his comments and you'll see his obsession with me.
@PorllM That guy above is a troll. I just counter-troll him which annoys him even more. Have a look through his comments and you'll see his obsession with making sure everyone knows exactly how awful he thinks everything is.
Also note that his comment belies his claim that he ignores me. 😂
This looks cool and all, but I really want Zen Pinball on Switch. I love it on my Vita and playing on the larger and higher res screen of the Switch would be great. The screen's even big enough to be able to pull off a portrait mode...
Just talking about it has inspired me to dig out my Vita for the first time since 3rd March and fire up the Plants vs Zombies table.
@holygeez03 Count me in for Mario Zen Pinball xD
