even if the game was rock-solid, the embrace of not only a subscription fee but also paid battle passes on top of that (and on top of paying for NSO and Pokemon Home) is utterly absurd. Thats not what I want to see in quality game experiences

So...we need to use the Switch version of the app to transfer them. But then put that down and use the phone version of the app to get the mystery gift? How does that make sense?

definitely surprised by the quality and fun. But its not made by Game Freak, so that makes sense

I found the first two games to be too simple and battles were boring. I hope this one is better

FR/LG and SS/HG are the high points of the series for me.

FR/LG offers so much more content for the price compared to the Let's Go remakes as well. And without the dumb gimmicks

Orbitals looks amazing. I love the visuals so much. But I was disappointed it seems to be co-op only.

I'm happy to see FF7 Rebirth, Digimon, Fallout, Oblivion, and Indy being ported. And Adventures of Elliot still looks good.

But nothing was new. And some new obvious ports (i.e. Metaphor or Expedition 33) were MIA.

Very little content in this Direct was actual news. And that was super disappointing. Nothing here surprised me. And in a year where there is already very little 1st party content I want (only Fire Emblem), I really needed some more energy and excitement from 3rd parties. And this didn't deliver at all.

I've never seen the economy worse here in the US than it is now, which includes the Bush-era mid-00s recession. Everyone is hurting and even everyday items are getting too expensive, so luxuries are getting cut out.

Expect it to get worse until the current felon is out of office
