Looking at the list of games I am getting in the next few months, everything is either from Square or Nintendo, with God of War (Sony) being the one exception. Its kinda nuts how many games Square is releasing and I will get most of them

@Wexter that's true, though I personally didn't really enjoy FF12. I hated the combat. What I wouldn't give for a collection of FF13 games and a real port of FF15 though! Crisis Core will be great at least.

I also personally don't care about Saga or the other classic RPGs they are remastering. Don't get me wrong - I love that they are coming and being preserved for a modern audience. But I'm over here waiting for FF 1-6 and DQ Monsters games far more

@SpiritGun7 I actually forgot about the Tactics Ogre remake. That's at the top of my list too. I played FF Tactics back in the day, but never Tactics Ogre, so it'll be a new one for me. Square is really feeding my RPG and tactics needs well (though still waiting on ports of those FF Pixel Remasters...)

@SpiritGun7 Front Mission is on my plate to buy when it releases. I love tactics RPGs and I never played them. Nothing really fills the void of Advance Wars though. And since Nintendo flatly refuses to sell or legally distribute GBA games, I'm just continually frustrated that I can't play that or Golden Sun or the numerous wonderful games in the GBA library

Generally a solid C, but it comes down to taste.

I don't care about Pikmin, Kirby, or Splatoon. Nor the 20 or so farming sims that were shown. I am excited for Fire Emblem, Octopath 2, and FF Theaterrythm.

Super disappointed that Advance Wars is still MIA, there are still no GBA games, and there are still no Metroid Prime ports

I generally agree with this list. I don't understand why Game Freak can't hire a writing team of quality for the modern games

I'm loving 3 so far. Best parts? Interesting open world with stuff to discover that rewards exploration (unlike, say, BOTW) and almost none of the fetch quests that infected Xeno 1 and 2

@Giancarlothomaz Not sure why that's relevant. Cartoony tanks aren't applicable to a real war. And it certainly doesn't stop CoD or other war games from releasing.

And why is Ukraine special? There are always wars. Did Nintendo worry about Afghanistan or Iraq? Or what about Yemen currently? Palestine?

FE Fates is particularly problematic. Nintendo is essentially cutting access to 1/3 of the game because it didnt get a wide physical release

This seems like an Overwatch 2 situation. Why aren't these multiplayer-focused games just updated? Selling another $60 boxed copy just seems like a way for them to make easy money
