I used to buy many $60 games at launch.

Then I stopped buying most at $70 pricing and have been waiting for sales first.

At $80? I will buy next to no games at launch. My salary certainly hasn't risen for me to pay so much more

I currently use Game Pass because there are now new releases I want to play on a steady basis. Indy, Avowed, Oblivion, Expedition 33, and Doom (soon) have all made the sub price worth it

sure, prices rise over time.

But you know what hasn't risen? Our salaries. So...how are we supposed to afford these prices?

I buy physical copies for preservation. To make sure my collection still works in 20 years.

If a cart requires a download to access the game, its entirely useless to me

We are so long overdue for a new Fire Emblem that it hurts me.

Only game aside from Mario Kart for me is Cyberpunk. Now that I know that most other 3rd party games are digital downloads via the cart nonsense, I won't be buying them.

No Three Houses yet and STILL zero Xenoblade.

both games are great. I've been playing both. I sure wish they didn't release on the same day though

the Switch is definitely a peak for gaming.

PS5 and Xbox Various-Letters? Not so much. Those consoles have barely any current-gen exclusives to even justify owning them. The PS5 has been super disappointing

Suikoden and Xenoblade are the last Switch games I am getting for a while, I think. Unless something else compelling is announced

I'm looking forward to it. My nostalgia peaked with the end of the original anime series. So I'm not interested in the later games. The early games are find memories on GBA for me

its cool, I will continue not to buy digital. Physical copies are still almost always cheaper anyway. And plus, they can't be stolen away by a corporation
