Hmm.. I think the price for a set of joycons should go down also. Nintendo would probably sell more if they had more color options and a slightly lower price point-$ 69.99/ pair.

As for the drift doesn’t Nintendo fix them for free still if you contact them? I know it sucks but it’s something. Also if you don’t want to send them in you can buy an analog stick on Amazon for about $8 and fix it yourself in less than 30 min. I’ve had 3 drift issues over my 3 sets of joycons all in the left analog stick. I had to send my first set in before it was free ($40!) and decided to try to fix it myself the next time it happened since the repair cost almost as much as a new joycon. I will say that I haven’t had any repeat drift issues once they’ve been replaced so I wonder if there’s a difference in the quality of the new sticks.

I’ve been playing The Avengers on Xbox One mainly- it’s pretty cool so far!
On the Switch front I have tried the Pikmin demo- it was okay but I’ve decided to cancel my preorder. I plan to try to rent it or buy it at a cheaper price down the road.
I still haven’t started Mario Sunshine 😅 so I may start that... but I’ve been playing Smash Bros so we’ll see.

I meant to start Mario Sunshine but with the little playing time I’ve gotten- I booted up PicZle Lines DX again lol. Still trying to finish up the last dinosaur puzzle pack! I did download the Pokémon 3 demo so I’ll give that a try this weekend too.

I don’t think I care about 4K for Zelda. I just care if it’s rich, beautifully crafted experience. BOTW is simply a fantastic game that awed me- I want the same feeling of awe in the second.

I’m lucky enough to have gotten to play Ori 2 on Gamepass - simply fantastic game! Nice surprise to see it on Switch! After all the glowing reviews I’m going to eventually pick up Hades- I liked Bastion and Transistor. So it seems like an inevitable purchase.

I’ve started playing Mario 64 via 3D Mario Allstars and it’s horrible.. Maybe because I’ve never played it and I don’t have the rosy glow of nostalgia to hold on to? The camera, the text, Mario’s movement - none of it’s working for me. I’m going to put a pause on it and try out Mario Sunshine for a bit.
I did try out Mario Bros 35 the other night and it was okay.. I didn’t get what I was actually supposed to be doing so I’ll be trying it out again lol.

I thought I would have been playing the Mario collection by now but I’m still working on Murder by Numbers- I think I’m almost done now because I’m on the last case and everything’s starting to click 😁. So good! I’ll probably start up Mario 64 soon..

@backup368 I would expect to see a significant price drop around Black Friday for the WWE Battlegrounds game. I’m at the point in the year where if I can hold on on a game purchase until then I will ( only like 2 months!). I bought Overwatch ( Switch) at launch last year and 1 month later it’s almost 1/2 off 😓... I personally hate that..

I didn’t expect my 3D Allstars game to arrive so quickly ( GameStop never ships on release unless you pay for it!) I should finish up Murder by Number first... My plan is to finish up MbN first but there’s been a dramatic difficulty spike in the second part so the puzzles are taking much longer than before. Makes me nervous about the next parts! Anybody else experience this? I started playing on regular difficulty mode but seriously considering trying to change it 😅

My kids have horse hoppers, which look to be the same size, and I am seriously questioning that adult’s smile.

I started Murder by Numbers this week so I’ll be continuing with that. Seriously Glad I picked it up on sale- the puzzles are fun and the story/ writing is entertaining! I should have no trouble finishing it before the Mario Collection is delivered 😁

This one is on my wishlist! Glad it reviewed well- I’ll be picking this up eventually!

I’m still picking my way through Glass Masquerade.... it’s perfect to play while watching a show ( I’ve been working through Walking Dead since I played the telltale games).
I’ll probably continue on with short little games until the Mario game comes out- I’ve never played Mario 64 or Sunshine and I’m not sure I completed Mario Galaxy so this is a good release for me.

Honestly when I heard the rumor about this a couple days ago I was very skeptical. I’ll be picking this up digitally- I’m not going to mess around with people trying to raise the price on this. Hopefully Nintendo releases Mario Galaxy 2 after this “limited” release... maybe as another limited time thing? I’d buy it for sure..

@Agramonte I would imagine GameFly would be able to get some of these.. I’ve seen they had limited run games in their catalog before. I would just worry about people going crazy and creating an artificial shortage- it already seems like people are buying multiple copies with the intent to sell later.

This is awesome! I thought this was a great idea and I agree this is some of the best toys to life application I’ve seen. I wonder if projectiles could be fired into the course and vertical movement supported. If so I can see some awesome ideas/ tracks shaping up.

That would be one heck of a collection! 😍 However Nintendo has never given much of a discount to their games and I think all those titles would sell fine if released individually. Why make less money than you can? 3D World was one of my favorites so I’d pick it up.

I’m genuinely blown away by the $60 price tag on that Kingdom Hearts game...

I’ve never played a Pikmin game before so maybe I’ll check out a gameplay video of the Wii U to gauge my interest. Otherwise I’ll continue to play through my backlog collection- My collection has grown more as I just picked up Donut Country and Gargoa on sale the other day 😃

@Sim1 I liked the first one enough to buy the second 😀. I can say I find the puzzles to be generally a little more difficult in the 2nd game at least.

I played the demo on Xbox when it was available a month or so ago and enjoyed it- I did think the person on screen was little so I imagine playing handheld Would be hard on the eyes. I’ll pick this up eventually 😀

I’ve finished TOK- it was a pretty good game! I liked the battle system overall but I did find it lacked variety and got pretty old. The boss battles were fantastic though and the story and atmosphere were great. Overall I think it’s definitely worth playing.
Now to shift back into my backlog I’ve started playing Glass Masquerade 2- I think it’s on sale for ridiculously cheap it’s worth it if you enjoy jigsaw puzzles .

I can normally find something of interest to me whenever they do a direct but I can honestly say I have zero interest in anything included in this direct. I’m glad if someone is excited about some of these but I found it disappointing. Luckily that last Nindies presentation was awesome! I guess I’ll be hitting up my backlog in the coming months.

I’ll be joining in this week’s Splatfest! Team chicken all the way! I’ll also continue playing TOK- I’m getting to the last streamer now.

I’ve also been playing walking Dead Telltale series- I just started the final season.. it’s a bit of a rabbit hole I fell down 😅.

This looks cool- I may end up picking it up eventually. Hard being a con though makes me weary... I don’t mind a game being hard (Hollow Knight, Celeste) but sometimes it can put me off a game altogether (Cuphead). I’ll let it marinate some - my backlog is large as it is.

Still chipping away at Paper Mario TOK. My backlog has been growing substantially because of all these sales 😅.
Also playing Observation via Gamepass which has been interesting.

I think TOK has some good humor- I find it floats between silly and charm induced smiles. I’m not rolling but there is some good dialogue happening.
You know I never really considered humor to essential to a game - more like an added bonus if done well. However I’ve noticed that my tastes in games has been evolving and I appreciate a story driven experience more than ever and humor is an important tool to creating something special.

This is not news?.. this game was part of the Microsoft game showcase last month full of exclusives.
That being said this is reminding me of Hob- I’ll be excited to try it out on Gamepass.

I’m still immensely enjoying Origami King- I’m not sure why this game’s reception was/is so lukewarm. It’s genuinely a great game. I’m also playing Yoku’s Island Express before it leaves Gamepass. It’s an interesting little game I’d recommend if you like pinball or Metroidvania- it’s also available on Switch!

@JasmineDragon I try to let my eyes glaze over the comments about no games / or they’re putting away there Switch. It’s crazy to me. My backlog is getting a life of it’s own and that’s only the things I pick up on sale! Even when there isn’t a new release I’m interested in I have a good selection of other games to play ready to go. Crazy...

I’m still playing Paper Mario OK which is honesty a good game. Good amount of humor and it very charming. I don’t mind the battles- the more I get the hang of them the more I appreciate the puzzle like aspect of it. I just beat the Water Vellumental- these ‘boss’ battles are definitely more challenging!
On the Xbox I’m going to start up Halo 2!

I’m still technically working on Borderlands but am currently engrossed in the new season of Fortnite 😅 I’m sure I’ll be playing one of those this weekend. However having my nephew school me at Smash Bros- he was playing as King K Rool has irritated me enough that I might practice and try to take him down. That character is ridiculous! I’ve never seen a fat character fly like that!

@GregamanX I’ve contemplated picking up Wide Ocean Big Jacket for awhile now- I wish I would have snapped it up when it was on sale! I’ll be sure to check it out now.

I am still playing Borderlands on Switch coupled with Outer Worlds on Xbox.

I’ll be continuing Borderlands- it’s growing on me a tiny bit. My biggest complaint is I feel like I can’t see well in handheld (which is how I play). The visuals are sharp And look good but between the same color palette and maybe the brightness I feel my eyes straining. I tried turning up the brightness on the switch itself but it didn’t help.

I also started playing some 1 player Clubhouse 51 - I never knew I loved Mancala! I’ve been trying some games out and so far like it a lot.

I’m guilty of buying more than enough games in the last sale 😅 I picked up La Mulana, Murder by Numbers, and a few other wishlist items! I may start one of those if I find Borderlands is still bothering me.
