Maybe this is how that Mother 3 comes about.. it would make 15 people simply ecstatic..

I’ve has my eye on this for awhile so maybe I’ll grab it while it’s on sale.

Since Switch is my only console I would love a chance to play some of these Microsoft games.

I was immensely surprised by this but t seems Nintendo has been more open to collaborations lately ( Mario/ Rabbids and Starlink). CotN is in my backlog but I think that will be my next title so I can see if I’d like to pick up the second.

It will depend on price for me. I usually pick up what’s cheaper- unless it’s a huge download.

@mist I agree with you.. I bought a digital copy of Smash and have about 10 hours into it since launch. It’s fun to play with others but I don’t find myself wanting to pour oodles of time into it. I prefer Splatoon to Smash because I want to play it more.

This is not my usual pick since I don’t play many shooters but I thought this seemed different and interesting. I look forward to seeing more about this.

This looked hilarious but I’m getting a little apprehensive about getting this since everyone is saying it’s so hard. So where would this sit next to Hollow Knight? That is my new threshold for how much I’m willing to torment myself.

This is one of the few I’m interested in from this nindies direct. Looks fantastic.

@Medic_alert I wasn’t going to pick up Yoshi but the demo swayed me... Moonlighter looks like good fun! Too many games- too little time..

@justin233 I found a hidden door between the save bench and soul master in the elevator I believe- took off so much time! I have the same problem though- most of my time is traveling to get killed by a boss lol. The worst was my save point in Fungal Wastes and then traveling to the Dung Master in the Water area. Eventually I found a bench closer but I lost an embarrassing amount of money ( and time!) dying during my traveling to the boss 😓.

@BranJ0 I ended up doing Crystal Peak before Soul Master. I don’t know if my dream nail is helping with monsters because every time you get a new skill/item the difficulty ratchets up lol. I have to go back because I need a double jump and don’t know where to get it.

@Medic_alert Luckily Battle Chef is relatively short- I think I clocked around 11-12 hours with the story mode. Hollow Knight is a monster though... I was hoping to finish it before Yoshi arrives but I’m thinking that may not happen ( I’m roughly 23 hours in with no end in sight 😅)

@KIRO You should have picked Owlboy up a few weeks ago when it was half off ( eshop). Just finished that one recently and it was good.

Hollow Knight... where to begin... lol. I’m about 25 hours in and I’ve been wondering if I missed something at the beginning because I’m not sure what the story is. The platforming, visuals, music, and mechanics are top notch though- definitely worth the price of the game. But man this game is difficult.

Splatfest! I’ve got to uphold my duty as a Knight since it’s looking like there are a lot of wizards out there. Other than Splatoon I’m going to continue my infuriating adventure in Hallownest.

Well this is disappointing... I wish other changes could have been made to prevent this drastic change.

I look forward to seeing reactions of Hellblade- that is my most anticipated surprise from the direct.

To pick up Harry Potter or not? Hmm.. I’ve thought about Lego city but never pulled the trigger on it since I never knew what to expect.

Hahaha! That’s awesome. I imagine it will be similar to the drift board in terms of movement if they’re sticking a grappler on it.

I just beat Crystal Guardian for the first time in Hollow Knight after MANY tries so I’ll be continuing my adventures there. Probably work on my Fortnite battle pass and Tetris 99 when I inevitably get too mad to continue dying in HK lol.

@UmbreonsPapa I understand your sentiment when it comes to having the last input on what you’re children are purchasing. I’ve got to think since our kids are younger( my oldest is 4) that we’re not experiencing the same pressure as parents of older kids. I know my nephews ( 9 and 11) have easily put in hundreds into Fortnite and when I asked my brother what was up with that he said they like it, it’s all the kids talk about at school/ all the time, and since playing Fortnite was what they wanted to do they weren’t buying other games or partaking in some other entertainment activities.

These memory cards just keep dropping in price as larger ones come out... I’ll just hold off until a better sale hits later. I picked up a 128 card back in November for $21 which was the same price as the 64 I bought before that😅

You know I haven’t tried any of the Labo kits but this looks really neat. It looks like a creative way to give a VR experience and the modes of play are interesting. I’m surprised about the amount of naysaying about this in the comments- out of all the Labo kits this is the most interesting since the others don’t include surprising uses of the joy con capabilities. Labo vehicle = cardboard Mario Kart, Labo robot= cardboard Arms, and Labo variety= cardboard 1-2 switch ( or other mini game collection).

@Donutman There’s a Trine 1-3 physical game you can preorder from GameStop ( I think it’s exclusive) it releases the end of April at $40. I believe that will be the only way 3 is released for Switch.

I’ve been interested in these games since I’ve never played them but I think $40 is a little steep?

I found some of the ideas of eshop improvements to be very good. Personally I would love a star rating system from other players. I would not be opposed to a “recommended based on previous purchases “ curated list. I find that I check the eshop weekly to check out new titles, sales, and upcoming games and anything I find interesting goes to my wish list- sometimes I pick them up on sale... sometimes Shovel Knight just lives in the wish list for 2 years.

@Medic_alert Haha! I’ve been using the how long to beat site too- mainly for reviews since you get reviews cross platform. Luckily I don’t have that many hours. I’ve gotten much more selective in games I buy and try to keep them relatively short now but still they add up.

I just started playing Hollow Knight so I’ll be continuing that- I’m trying to finish it before Yoshi comes out. I’ll also be taking advantage of free battle pass in Fortnite. I may get some Tetris 99 in as well even though I don’t know what I’m doing 😅

@Medic_alert lol I’ve been going through my physical game collection deciding what I’m really playing since I simply can’t play everything. Unfortunately my digital collection is getting crazy too..

I’ll keep my eye on this!

I’m genuinely looking forward to Yoshi. I’ve also decided to try out Wasteland 2 since the physical game is the same cost as digital ( hallelujah). Truberbrook has me intrigued but I’ll pass until a sale.

Personally I’m okay with waiting until summer for these heavy hitters as I’ve still got a very sizeable backlog and I’ve just started Hollow Knight ( I’ve realized while exploring the map that it’s going to be a large time sink lol). I’m optimistic that I will put a dent in my backlog before Yoshi... maybe a little delusional...

I won’t ever buy this game but I think it’s crazy that they’re not taking advantage of potential customers by not putting their network test on Switch also. It mostly makes me wonder why which makes me think it’s just not as impressive as it should be.

@Zach777 I don’t care that Nintendo is charging for online access but I definitely think that there should have been some serious improvements since it’s release.

@Jokerwolf we have the same discounts in NA- I actually noticed Valiant Hearts and Child of light were actually 50% off. I was going to pick them up and Transistor (30% off) since they’ve been on my wish list for awhile.

Well it certainly looks good. I’ll wait until I hear what risks they’re trying out before I bash it for being the same game as before. May the odds be in their favor.

Dang... That game is old... I didn’t realize how old it was until I watched the trailer. I will not be buying this. I don’t mind ports of games that are a few years old but 8 years is ridiculous.

I was hoping the snow would melt and it would be a water world with skiffs... while That probably won’t happen It’s cool that they’ offered players a chance to earn season 8 battle pass.

This game is horribly overrated.

The new Wolfenstein will be a day one for me. I held off on the other one on Switch but enjoyed it so much. I was also under the impression that it was a given release for Switch.

I’ve been curious about this since I saw I could preorder on Amazon. I’m on the fence I’ll wait to see what the price point is on digital ( Amazon has physical slated for $34.99 release on April 23).

At least $49.99... When has Nintendo ever downplayed their price points? Honestly it’ll probably be worth it seeing as how their putting a lot of work into the revamp.

I never played Wolly World on Wii U So I was hesitant to try this out. I’m glad they gave us a demo and after playing it I’m excited for the games release.

Still working on Piczle Lines DX... I may get some time into Mario& Rabbids. Just finished that Yoshi demo and even though I’m not normally a Yoshi fan I’m pretty excited for it to release next month. I want to try that Tetris game everyone’s going on about too 😉

Very good. I thought the news of all those demos was awesome news. I’ve definitely got enough to look forward to in the next 6 months.

Hmm.. not sad about missing these. I believe you could still get these with a Japanese Nintendo account?

I’m on the fence on this one too... Maybe after I take care of some backlog I can look into this some more.
