Re: Review: Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller - A New Benchmark In Comfort And Design

LikelySatan

Dual Sense is $75 with a much stronger feature set, but they are also prone to drifting. At least the OG Switch has a ton of great third-party options on it that are hopefully compatible with this. It will be interesting to see how these hold up.
I'll be honest that I'm hoping for some bit of comeuppance for Nintendo, 3DS launch style...but I doubt that will happen. The PS3 and XBONE style hubris isn't a good look.

Re: Video: Do You Even Need A Pro Controller For The Switch 2?

LikelySatan

I have three sets of Joycon, 2 Pro Controllers, 8bitdo SNES and Saturn controllers, a Nitrodeck, and a Gulikit Kingkong 2 or 3 or Whatever for my Switch. I have three Dual Sense controllers for the PS5, and a Portal.
The fact that the new Pro controller costs more than a Dual Sense is absurd, and I will be skipping this gen until they fix that. No analog triggers and no hall effect sticks is really telling.

Re: Super Mario World Looks To Be The Official Name Of The Next Mario Movie

God. Just imagine if it were based on 2. As an adult, I can say it would be much more fun to see the kids' reaction to that frickin' fever dream (and much more fun for Mrs Satan and I to use mushrooms with). I'm a little worried Minecraft's success might inform the direction of this, but I also don't care all that much. So long as it is not insulting to my kids I'll be fine.

@roy130390 I'm an idiot. I didn't even put those together. Congratulations cause you may have just changed someone's mind on the internet. First time to ever happen on the internet...even though I am often wrong. Thanks. That's actually the exact push I needed to give this a shot.
River City Ransom Underground, Girls, and the Three Kingdoms games are all great

Re: Opinion: Switch 2 Finally Gives Star Wars Outlaws A Second Chance

@smashbrolink I think it was when the nefarious evil doers' plot was revealed to Obi Wan as he listened in from an evil janitor's closet in an evil hallway. And it just looked awful. I'm not big on Star Wars anyway, and I actually did read the article. I don't have any reason to care if people like a Star Wars or not.

Re: Editorial: Gamers, Support The People And Sites You Love, Before It's Too Late

I do. I supported GB from the beginning, subbed for as long as I could, and then everyone I went there for left, so now I sub to those people's Patreons. Giant Bomb isn't terrible now or anything, but after a while I won't let myself get invested if an outlet keeps running through people. I've been through 1up, Joystiq, Screwattack, Destructoid (yes it is), and Giant Bomb. And all those were after the magazines I loved died.
