Not a lot in offer here, but this game feels incredible so I am good.

No dog in this fight, but I am glad fans seem to be getting a decent looking Pokémon.
I think it's interesting that there are some fans that want a game that takes some time and consideration, and others that just want them to keep shoveling out slop.

Marvel Cosmic Invasion with the kids. It's a blast. So funny to hear the tough guys quips my seven year old comes up with. And Cosmic Ghost Rider is so rad.
Micro Mages and Turrican on the Evercade. Get a Super Pocket! They're wonderful!

@SlimeRyu is this an in-depth RPG? Seems like a shooter where you sometimes suggest the tone of what the protagonist says. I didnt do everything in it. But most of what I did was shoot.

NES, 1986. It was the first game I became obsessed with, and the dungeon theme is still one of my favorite pieces of game music.

Gotta pick this up then. I hope they release a complete physical version at some point.

THANK YOU. I was over the moon about this game when it came out. A lot of times, people don't trust me when I tell them how great it is. My favorite 2D Metal Gear.

I'll get Castlevania if it is interesting and/or better than the best Metroidvanias out there.

Hollow Knight could look like OG Metroid and it would still be in my top ten games of all time. That it is gorgeous is a bonus. I probably spent around 300 hours in that world.

This is to Turok 1997 what Painkiller 2025 is to Painkiller 2004. Its a skin on Saber Interactive's horde shooter uber-game.

@Strawblaze Huge fan of all those games. I agree they are more cohesive and ofc they are iconic. I disagree that this looks like an asset flip. The ui and music do help a lot though.

@EvilBear I didnt realize I had a line that turned me off to a game if it was too twee or cute or furry. Then Sonic and Co started speaking, and that did it. At least I didn't miss out on anything there...
Anyway! The Plucky Squire, Escape from Everafter, the baby characters in Mario Kart, etc etc. It crosses the same line as anachronistic characters in City of the Wolves or like SpongeBob in Sonic Crossworlds. I wouldn't say I "missed out," though. Lol. Too many great games out there as it is.

Picking this up after dinner and a movie tonight (wings, Send Help). Awesome night. Can't wait to chill in bed w a caffeinated beverage and play later. Maybe w gummies, maybe without. Guess it depends on how fast this game is.

I dont have a problem with it, but I don't think I have played one of these that felt great to play. Not for me.

@Johnny_Arthur I would say "play an indie wrestler or Fire Pro" or whatever, but I have gotten the impression that accurate intros and logos and brand BS are what WWE fans are more interested in.

About 1000 percent better than the Nicktoons or Ren and Stimpy collections. Some legit classics in here.

Just picked up Ivalice Chronicles. FFT is one of my favorite games of all time. The judges in A2 were annoying. And they took out the ability to rotate maps, which is a feature of the first game that I love.
All that said, yeah the NA cover is pants.
