I'm not watching any trailers for this one. Streets of Rage 4 is one of the best beat em ups ever made, and Shinobi 3 is God tier.

@SillyG yeah my physical Switch collection is actually pretty great. I'll be mopping up the ones I missed for a while, but I have most of the smaller releases that will be hard to find. It really is a ridiculous library on the Switch.

@AhabSpampurse no, I was beyond any delusions at that point. I was so big on fighters at the time, but even that didn't help. It was over $70, I know that, lol. I would've been happier with Primal Rage.

Oblivion Remastered on my PS5, and I'll probably play some kind of rogue like or survival game in between. Star of Providence, Vampire Survivors, etc. Oh right and I want to check out the Turok patch, lol.

Mine is in the Nitrodeck all the time, and it still has some scuffs on the back. The only way I'd be interested would be if I could trade it in w accessories for a Switch 2 tablet and a deck that fits it. Not paying those accessory prices.

You are definitely correct in saying time marches on, would just be super swell if this had learned more from it. Hall sticks, analog triggers, and an OLED should be standard on this thing.

@Jester676 I'll ask the developers of Hi-fi Rush or another game that was successful and still has a closure or layoffs. This is just hubris and greed.

@Lord hey that's funny, cause after I said that, I went and downloaded it to my portable console that has an AMOLED, analog triggers, and hall sticks. And I own it. It's not tied to an online service.

They raised the prices of Switch 2 peripherals, again. Pro controller will be $85, wrist straps are $13, Joycons $95, etc.
So I'll be getting a S2 when I can find the tablet only and a decent deck to put it in. If that doesn't happen, oh well. I'm sure the games will run fine on emu.

I got it at half off and I was let down by the performance, on the base PS5. I was expecting the visuals to be one of the highlights.

Really looking forward to this one. His games are a rare treat.

Only thing we know for sure is the sticks will die first.

I'll likely not get to play as much of these as I want, but having all of the great Capcom arcade fighters on a few carts is a dream come true.

Nintendo probably mandated that they use mouse mode and chat features in some way that is unique to the Switch 2. That's it.

I started it like BotW and just figured I'd be playing it for years.

It seems like a failed proof of concept, but I mean I didn't play it.

Burnout 3, Wind Waker, and New Vegas. Mayyyyybe some Brutal Doom. The Switch is lost somewhere in my home. I'm dying to play more Star of Providence and XCX:DE. But then I'd have to look for stuff.
I'm lamenting modern gaming and most modern things recently.

Whatever they can do to put Brutal Doom on consoles, it should be a priority.

I just got Wind Waker up and running beautifully on the Retroid, and am playing a bunch of PS2 racers and Tenchu there as well.
I'm really burned out on where games are (seemingly inevitably) headed. I haven't believed for a long time that any of us can be honest consumers, but I'm not big on modeling nihilism for my kids either...

I include GC and Wii backwards compatibility. So the WiiU and Wii are pretty great. A lot of people act like the Wii didn't have a great library, but I disagree.
Or maybe Switch 2 still, since the Switch's library is so amazing.
I've owned every system at launch, and nothing will ever beat the NES for me. But that's like childhood magic and sh*t, lol. I was hoping the Switch 2 might help me relive some of that with the six year old.

I like X well enough that I'll play the first game again. The combat took forever to click w me. I bought the second game and it was a little shonen/pervy for me. X has been incredible, besides Tatsu.
