@Rhaoulos I hope you gain some perspective. Do you think Peach having more autonomy instead of the typical trophy princess might be cause little girls would think she is cool that way? Like "PEACH IS COOL I WANT TO BE PEACH FOR HALLOWEEN!" Are you 15???
@Olliemar28 I think the only time I've ever really wanted a review revisited or changed was MK X. After reviews dropped, they just straight up changed the irl monies store to screw over players, and it felt very out of touch for the scores to stay the same after that. The note here seems fine to me.
@Lucami the boomers tried to ban these games, and also are kind of trying to destroy humanity currently.
The term is dumb. It's here to stay so whatever, but pretty dumb.
@mercilessrobot this team did Boltgun, and it had serious audio and performance issues at release (at least on Switch).
Looks rad.
Rad, I say.
This game has more in common with sixth gen/early 2000s shooters than the boom shoot era. Big gunses and asplosions, but you aren't secret hunting through labyrinthine levels. Usually big slaughter maps where you run around planting bombs on objectives.
These guys still have a problem making interesting levels, imo.
@jsty3105 I am surprised at how great Splintered Fate is. Glad it didn't die on Aplle Arcade or whatever. It would be nice if there was a non-roguelite mode for kids though.
@Uncle_Franklin and @DarkScythe13
I don't dig the wool aesthetic, but it played fine. I would like them to make a Yoshi game outside of "challenging as you make it." Same with Kirby.
I think Mario Galaxy is one of the most overrated games I have played, and the last movie was meh, but I can't wait to see this with my seven year old.
I have a New 3DS XL that a Dtoid user sold me for a steal about a decade ago, but I am probably getting an AYN Thor for my DS stuff and will pass down the 3DS if any of the kids want it.
My DS Lite is still used pretty regularly.
Seeing Capcom absolutely slay never gets old. I would really like a D & D brawler collection, personally. My kids and I have gotten into a beat em' up kick lately and it is glorious.
Heard the game and port are great. Its one of those series that I played from the beginning, and then dropped off around the fifth entry. Somehow seems to happen alot.
Oh it is NOT as good as Hades, haha. Hades is a flawless game.
I just picked this up and I am really surprised at the quality. Raph was my favorite as a kid, and they made him fun, which is apparently pretty hard.
Games never stop, man. Picked up Ball X Pit as well and hooooo boy.
Anyway, I hope I can get the kids into this.
No dog in this fight, but I am glad fans seem to be getting a decent looking Pokémon.
I think it's interesting that there are some fans that want a game that takes some time and consideration, and others that just want them to keep shoveling out slop.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion with the kids. It's a blast. So funny to hear the tough guys quips my seven year old comes up with. And Cosmic Ghost Rider is so rad.
Micro Mages and Turrican on the Evercade. Get a Super Pocket! They're wonderful!
@SlimeRyu is this an in-depth RPG? Seems like a shooter where you sometimes suggest the tone of what the protagonist says. I didnt do everything in it. But most of what I did was shoot.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For The Super Mario Galaxy Movie
I am not expecting any more than a fun time with the kids. Like I said before, I will most likely be watching their reactions more than the movie.
Re: Classic Shmup 'Truxton' Returns After Nearly 35 Years On Switch 2
The more shmups, the merrier. Earthion is dope also, and brings back the Mega Drive feels.
Re: So, Will you Be Watching The Super Mario Galaxy Movie?
I am going with the kids. I will probably be watching the youngest react more than the actual movie, lol.
Re: Sumptuous Retro Shmup 'ZPF' Launches On Switch In Just A Few Weeks
Projectiles in ZPF are most often the opposite color of the background, which helps them stand out. It's not a problem.
Re: Nintendo's Apparently Cutting US Switch 2 Output After Lower Than Expected Holiday Sales
I've owned every Nintendo console since the NES, but I am skipping this gen. Their hubris grosses me out.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (21st March)
Crimson Desert, Ball X Pit, and Splintered Fate.

Edit: welp, just got the mail and turns out I lied to everyone.

Great look and sounds. Love it.
Re: Review: Shadow Tactics: Blades Of The Shogun (Switch 2) - A Stealthy Gem That's Both Tough & Approachable
Way underrated, and The Cursed Crew is 10/10 legendary.

@Anti-Matter Is your profile pic Eddie Eagle, the NRA cartoon that teaches kids gun safety?
Re: Yoshi And The Mysterious Book Estimated File Size And Price Seemingly Revealed
Might be cool for the seven year old, but afaic there was Yoshi's Island, and then a bunch of meh from this series.
Re: Nightdive's 'SiN Reloaded' Remaster Is Heading To Switch 1 & 2 This Year
It's Nightdive so ofc I will probably buy three copies.
Re: Talking Point: Are You Tired Of The Talking Flower Yet?
I have only seen the flower in Wonder, so no.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (7th March)
I started Atomic Heart but I am not sure I will stick with it. The tone is a little ehhhh, embarrassing?

Re: The New Castlevania Title "Is Not A Roguelike Or Roguelite Game"
Nice! If it's a mode I am down though.
Re: Legacy Of Kain: Defiance Remastered Switch Versions Hit With Last-Minute Delay
I know it is silly, but I will be really pleased to have the entire series on carts. Blood Omen is Evercade but still, neat.

Not a lot in offer here, but this game feels incredible so I am good.

@Nep-Nep-Freak appreciate the disclaimer.
Re: Gallery: Here's A Look At Pokémon Winds & Waves On Switch 2
I'm not a fan but I am glad fans seem to be getting a real effort here. Pokemon in gorgeous environments sells itself.

Hell to the no, son.
Re: Marvel Maximum Collection Revives Six Classic Superhero Titles On Switch

@uncleMike 100 percent. And the classic fps machine, for me.
Re: Poll: Will You Be Getting Pokémon FireRed Or LeafGreen On Switch?
@Hwatt oh yeah? Do you think Nintendo are using the same roms as my 16 year old or..?
Re: Poll: Will You Be Getting Pokémon FireRed Or LeafGreen On Switch?
Lol hell no I won't be doing that.
Re: Anniversary: The Legend Of Zelda Turns 40 Today - How Did You First Play It?
NES, 1986. It was the first game I became obsessed with, and the dungeon theme is still one of my favorite pieces of game music.
Re: Double Dragon Gaiden Adds Four New Fighters In Free DLC Switch Update
Gotta pick this up then. I hope they release a complete physical version at some point.
Re: Review: BlazBlue Entropy Effect X (Switch) - A Remarkably Over-Ambitious Roguelike That Goes Deep

Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite Gen 3 Pokémon?
Pokemon has always seemed like a scam, so I don't have one.
Re: Review: Ys X: Proud Nordics (Switch 2) - The Definitive Version Of Adol Christin's Seafaring Saga
@Dang_69 wow. That sounds like a really good reason not to support a platform, to me!
Re: Review: Ys X: Proud Nordics (Switch 2) - The Definitive Version Of Adol Christin's Seafaring Saga
Not rewarding them becoming Atlus.
