@OrtadragoonX I adore that game. I sold a room of people on it by taking badguy, slamming his head into my car, tossing him into my trunk, and bailing from the car off a pier and shooting the gas tank to make it splode.
Modded PS2 San Andreas, Mouse PI, and Doom w mods.
Edit: also, Twilight Princess decomp Dusk is out and playing it on my android (because Retroid), I'd grab it while you can.
It doesn't look like it has any style besides "realistic," imo. It has that "What if Star Fox was in Unreal 5?!?" look. @MetalMan that is what I thought. Exactly that. Pretty funny.
@Kestrel they'll charge $70 for this "Star Fox 64 in Unreal 5" YouTube video looking game, then say it is our fault they have no plans for the series when it sells 100,000 copies.
"Wow! That looks awesome! NRS always does the coolest SP stuff." That's my reaction to the trailer. "Oh, never mind." That is my reaction to the article explaining how WB screws over players.
@Nep-Nep-Freak do you what is meant by "late stage capitalism?" Commodification of everything, including democracy, crushing wealth inequality, etc etc? It's not pejorative in this case. It's just reality.
Edit: after reading other comments, nvm. Easiest ignore ever.
The most interesting thing about Star Fox is the way the first game looked. Beyond that, it's a Furry Star Wars rail shooter. Like if any first party game should be $20-$30, it's this.
I'm glad they're making another Star Fox game, just wish it was more interesting.
Mouse PI. Ign gave it a six, so you know it is a banger. Publishers really should start putting "6/10 -IGN" in their promos. I have only just started it, but so far it is great...just sick of the starter pistol already. Lol. I wish that was the lesson devs took from Duke Nukem. No pea shooters, please. Anyway, I have also started Aria of Sorrow. I strongly suggest the recolor romhack. Looks incredible.
It's nearly perfect. They need to put the first-person perspective back in the game. It's a me thing, I know, but I just love switching between perspectives to take in the environments.
I am on comfort food while the collection is packed up for the move. So, mainly rally racers and Doom mods. I am jonesing to grab Mouse PI, but I am not trying to download that on hotel wi-fi.
@StewdaMegaManNerd
Yeeeeeah, I know. I am frustrated that I dislike it so much. I've tried with it and I just can't get on with the controls and camera.
I will take the NES-64 OSTs over Galaxy's any day. It was insult to injury, imo, for this beautiful orchestral score to be booming while I am staring at the bottom of Mario's foot and trying to platform in crappy Sonic bonus levels. Wasn't the entire game, but it was enough of the game.
Game is way better than it has any right to be. A TMNT licensed Hades clone that was Apple Arcade exclusive for a while, if I remember right.
I only wish it had a mode that streamlined the stat-heavy character build mechanics, for my youngest.
@Trmn8r ...were games more obscure to meatheads and bros in the 70s? The answer is yes. But mostly the cut off for those halcyon days of yore is around sixth gen. People bought cheap DVD players, GTA and Madden converters for their TVs. That was the beginning of the normies sh*tting up the joint.
Not rage-bait, I promise, but this game is one of the most overrated I have ever played. Stealth, combat, and missions need serious work, and they were rough at launch.
There are so many great beat em' ups out and coming out. I still think Fight N' Rage and SoR 4 are peak, but variety is welcome. I just grabbed Absolum, digitally, so I am looking forward to starting that. Looking forward to this.
Packing up to move, so I have most of my collection in boxes. It was nice to take stock a little, but it also reminded me that I used to have so much classic stuff...grumblegrumble... Anyway! Absolum and Crimson Desert for me.

So excited for this. The Gameboy Zeldas are some of my favorite games. Will probably own two or three copies of this.

Re: Review: R-TYPE DX: Music Encore (Switch) - A Pint-Sized Port, Still Curious And Cute
The whole "you need to be psychic to beat this first try" thing has been a problem with R-type from the outset.
Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales
The NA one looks like a kid piled a bunch of stickers atop each other.
Re: The Live-Action Zelda Movie Is Coming To IMAX
@Aurumonado that will be the title of the remake.

@Gabe250 pretty sure they meant GB.
Re: Review: OPUS: Prism Peak (Switch 2) - A Beautiful Snapshot Of Studio Ghibli-Esque Magic
You used the term Ghibli-esque and the weebs are not losing it so far. Where am I?

Re: Review: Ys Memoire: Revelations In Celceta (Switch) - A Simple Yet Fun Adventure
@Keegsy I think Felghana and VII are peak, as a series fan.
Re: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Will Finally Be Revealed This Week
@Trmn8r I miss when games were more obscure to "normal folk."
Re: Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced Will Finally Be Revealed This Week
Not rage-bait, I promise, but this game is one of the most overrated I have ever played. Stealth, combat, and missions need serious work, and they were rough at launch.
Re: Review: ZPF (Switch) - A Unique-Feeling Mega Drive Shooter With Some Switch Issues
It is really funny that the MD game runs better than Steam and Switch.
Re: "A New Mission Awaits" - SNK Celebrates 30 Years Of Metal Slug, Teases Exciting Future
It will be 2.5D and the art will be a sin against this series, for some reason.

@Handy_Man 100%.
Well...like 90%.

Re: Unsurprisingly, The Mario Galaxy Movie Is Already 2026's Biggest Box Office Hit
7, 13, and 16 year olds had fun so I was happy with it. We saw it at the drive-in w chili dogs and chips etc, so that helped.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Champions
@Interneto I only meant that exactly as I said it. Reactions will be interesting. I look forward to the discussions.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Pokémon Champions
@AlanShore it will be interesting to see how Nintendo fans and jilted Pokémon fans feel when Beast of Reincarnation releases.

Re: The Rogue Prince Of Persia Physical Release Now Available On Switch 1 & 2
I tried this, but it was like an ugly Dead Cells DLC.
Re: Looks Like 'Elden Ring' Will Be A Pricey Game-Key Card Release On Switch 2
Switch 2 sucks so hard, lol.
Re: ICYMI: Next Triple-i Initiative Showcase Promises Reveals For Castlevania: Belmont's Curse & More
@Tempestryke it is the Dead Cells devs.
Re: ICYMI: Next Triple-i Initiative Showcase Promises Reveals For Castlevania: Belmont's Curse & More
Indie publishers like Konami and Gearbox? Okay, lol.
Re: Bleak Survival City-Builder 'Frostpunk' Is Finally Coming To The Switch
This looks miserable to me.
Re: Street Fighter 6's Next DLC Fighter Joins The Battle In "Late Spring" 2026
@LostWithoutYou yeah I dropped out back when they thought a dude covered in lube was akin to Blanka tonally, I guess. It's gotten a bit cringe.
Re: Street Fighter 6's Next DLC Fighter Joins The Battle In "Late Spring" 2026
I really do not understand how this series got so goofy, but I find it embarrassing.
Re: Nintendo Download: 2nd April (North America)
I picked up Micro Mages Maker. Check out Micro Mages, if you haven't. Very charming little platformer.
