SD3, in my opinion, was the most beautiful game ever to grace the SNES. I was (and am) a huge Secret of Mana fan, and if this was ever released legitimately, I would buy two copies just to thank the developers.

DQ9 was my only foray into the series, and while I enjoyed it, it didn't grab me like the best Final Fantasy games did. Will I get this one? We'll see. 100+ hours...

I actually enjoyed the Plague of Shadows campaign more than the first run through with the title character. Hopefully YC will give this new one the same treatment.

It would be nice if Reggie could at least say a few words like, "While we are flattered by this remake, which is clearly an act of deep admiration, we hope our fans recognize that we have to protect the IPs that they have come to know and love."

I bought this on Steam. Haven't fired it up yet, but I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks for your many long hours of work, Tom Happ.

YWW, Pikmin, and SMM are all good, and I'm pleased that they're coming to 3DS, but I can't say I'm really excited about any of the announcements. Hope others are, though.

Wow, this looks like something every Nintendo fan would want. No doubt Reggie will make sure to kill it as soon as humanly possible.

Reggie is essentially saying that his company made a top-notch product, and that he himself was a primary reason why it failed (i.e., lack of communicating its potential and uniqueness to consumers). If he truly believes this, he should resign.

To anyone who is unfamiliar with Legend of the Mystical Ninja, I strongly encourage you to check it out. It's a great game.

Undoubtedly, Moffitt couldn't stand working for Reggie one more day. He was probably on the verge of suicide having to take orders from that maniac.

Nintendo stock would get a boost into the stratosphere if it simply tossed Reggie and his mind-numbing heaps of failures into the sewer where they belong.

Another welcome shift would be hitting the eject button on Reggie's reign of insanity at NOA. How many unbelievable failures does he have to tally before the suits in Kyoto wake up and flush him down the toilet?

Wow, this is great. It's almost as if Nintendo should have done this themselves years ago for 3DS VC releases, instead of just shoving them on a shelf like a can of beans. But what am I saying; that would require Nintendo actually giving a whit about their customers.

@gatorboi352 Totally agree. My guess is that Nintendo's whole commitment/delusion to saying that it's a "toy company" and not a video game company comes primarily from him. That's the mentality that gives us wacky gimmicks that my ass is tired of.

I try to read every announcement about the NX with optimism, but I wind up just groaning. The signs look bad.

Glad to see Capcom continues on the N3DS VC...now we just need some Mega Man X.

Fascinating. I am confident this statement will never come back to bite this guy.

I certainly had fun on the N64 - Mario64 and OoT blew our minds; Starfox64 and GoldenEye defined competitive multiplayer; and Perfect Dark and Shadow of the Empire proved strange, wonderful tokens - but, honestly I have no desire to play these games ever again. Unlike every other Nintendo console, N64 games have aged horribly, and I consequently can't stand to revisit them. Fun memories, historical artifact, but that's it.

Now only if Reggie would lay it plain and admit to his own mountain of miserable failures.

I wonder if Reggie will take a cue from this and revamp the NOA website, or if he's content to let it continue being a pile of garbage like everything else he touches.
