Poncho looks like a very good game.
I'm getting metroid tommorow even though I'm a old school die hard fan waiting for a new entry just as much as anyone. But I still enjoy playing triforce hereos with a couple friends despite almost as long of a wait for a new Zelda. Even metal gear has a co-op shooter coming. More fps for my new3ds is not a bad thing.
Yes! Finally 3DS VC Street Fighter...oh...I see.
Why is Nintendo releasing 2 3DS titles on the same day? And why did we not get POKEMON SNAP?
Nothing to see here, folks.
Noooo I was looking forward to Pokemon snap (((
Shame no Pokemon Snap. Might pick up Pokemon Rangers if it ever comes on sale.
No survey and it's tagged with Europe
@Obito_Sigma @dings Given NoA said about summer of Pokemon VC, I think NA will get Snap next week.
Federation Force - will wait for the review tomorrow to decide.
I will wait for "Poncho" reviews before committing.
Where is pokemon snap?! Reggie wth did you do??
Being a complete mystery about when VC games will show up is the only consistent thing Nintendo does anymore.
I really wish they'd continue adding to the 3DS Virtual Console, but maybe they're just waiting for NX at this point.
No poll? Anyway, nothing of interest here. Hasn't been for a long time. I'm almost certain my 3DS has seen the last download already and that was months ago.
What no poll?! Anyways maybe I'll get the Pokémon Ranger game.
I am getting Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs
Getting Federation Force retail and same with Style Savvy 3. I might download Guardian Signs. I still have the cart but I'm not sure if it still works.
Ziggurat is out, yay !!
The age of the Poll is over...
Wait, @RCMADIAX made a 3DS game? Nor is the title in ALL CAPS?
Nintendo Life: "A new Metroid game for you".
...
@majinx07 It is clearly evident that Thomas is on vacation with no poll. Just look at the chart for the Japanese top 20 and consoles lol. We miss you already @ThomasBW84!
Why is EU getting 2 VC games while NA is getting only 1?
Is there a reason that they are only giving us the Pokemon Spin offs? I couldn't care less about those.
@RCMADIAX Cool!
I'm interested in reading the review of Metroid Prime Federation force
@Crono1973 Probably to maximize sales for those lesser titles during the Pokemon Go boom and when they are done going back to the spinoff well, maybe you will finally see a main series game or two go up.
@Kellanved
While it is true that Nintendo may be waiting for new console(s).... to allow its customers to throw money at them for games that are in most cases -decades old and bought and re-bought buy lots of on previous systems/eShops - however for many of us, they should have sold us games when we wanted them.
I, for one -though not alone, will not be following them to a new console, through at least the next generation -possibly ever. The past several years (like... 6, maybe?) have been inexcusable for a company with "1000000 billion" (or whatever) "in the bank".
dun dun dun another one bites the dust
**Also, keep in mind they have been very weak at retail releases this entire generation too, so that makes the digital/virtual shop even more important to some of us.
Honestly one of the most entertaining aspects of following Nintendo now is to see how the giant falls. From a business and cultural angle, as well as a longtime Nintendork, it is pretty interesting but all too deserved. Other companies would have been down and out, and deserted by its fans by now.
Hopefully they will get us Pokemon Snap soon. I was ready to throw down some coin on that goodness.
Can't WAIT for all the Fed Force reviews to come in. I'm dying to know
@Crono1973 Game Freak hates home consoles so main series games on Wii U VC is an automatic no, at best you'll see Gold/Silver/Crystal on 3DS VC later this year.
I really think they would have been better off making that Federation Force game a non metroid title it wouldn't have gotten the heat it did. I just have zero interest in the game because they used the metroid title and it doesn't in any way really look like a metroid game. I also hate that art style as well i don't like it on any 3DS games they use that style on.
I hope G/S/C does make the eshop later this year
....Remember when these days used to be exciting?
What a huge array of garbage. Which one shall I choose?
Oh, my...Style Savvy Fashion Forward.
My first 100% Girlie game. Hopefully i can enjoy the game like the other girl players did.
I think people really need to start thinking about whether their eshop purchases will work on the NX before they buy more off of the eshop.
@Joeynator3000 Yeah but that was when I had hope for good SNES RPG's hitting the VC.
I always checked out the poll. I would always be curious to see what other people are into. Sometimes I've found something that people really love in the poll and checked it out myself and really enjoyed it.
I'm a little interested in Adventure Party: Cats and Caverns, mostly to see exactly how the game shapes up. Hopefully it's more than just mad-libs styled RPG setup, but I get the feeling it may very well be, as it does call itself a party game.
On the flipside, U-host got a price drop, which would be nice if I got off my lazy bum and streamed a quiz like I said I would. Would be fun for once, since i'm a no-name streamer on Twitch.
Isn't there supposed to a Nintendo Summer Savings sale this week too?
Blasting Agent looks fun, and yay, that MHGens theme I wanted is finally here!!! Definitely getting that. It's probably going to be expensive though.
Might pick up Hot Rod Racer and will be interesting to see what the Federation Force reviews will be tomorrow.
They can ruin their IP all they want. They can't ruin Super Metroid for me
@msvt dynamite comment. Could not agree more.
NoA Headquarters, WA
Intern: Sir, Nintendo of Europe is releasing Pokemon Snap this week! Could we-
Manager: Yes! More Pokemon! We'll launch Pokemon Ranger: Guardian Signs this week!
Intern: But sir, why not release Pokemon Sn-
A trapdoor opens, and the intern's distant screams are heard....
Nothing for me this week.
According to the eShop listing, Neverhood 2...Ahem 'Armikrog' isn't releasing until next week. Just wanted to let you know.
This week sucked tbh
RCMADIAX starting to making 3ds games LOL
@Trinexx I feel that was the case for Mario Kart 64 and Star Fox 64 as well.
Where is the poll?! I'm not telling what stuff I want without a poll!
@Spoony_Tech This site really does go downhill when Tom's away. Imagine if he left...
Style Savvy looks okay. Havent tried one of those. I'd prefer to see if they release it as part of a 2DS bundle like they're doing in europe as I'd like it to match my Pink 3DS.
Outside of that, may get the oddworld game since it's on an alright sale. That or EO:U since I dont have it but love all things atlus.
On that note, anyone who doesnt have devil survivor 1 or soul hackers should get that immediately
and all of the 3D Classics. Or at least streets of rage 2 and gunstar heroes because they're amazing
I'll likely download Metroid Prime: Federation Force before month end. Despite all the criticism, it looks like a game I would enjoy. After all I enjoyed Triforce Heroes and got 83+ hours out of it and I remember the hate that got.
Kingdom's Item Shop looks interesting but I'll wait for some type of impression/review/gameplay video before committing.
Dang. There's no Pokemon Snap. I wanted to relive some memories. Nothing for me this week.
@Kellanved they added on last week.
I think I'll pick up Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty and Armikrog.
Poncho. Binding of Isaac is a must.
Five hours until Metroid "Prime" Federation Force reviews are officially published:
http://www.metacritic.com/game/3ds/metroid-prime-federation-force
Power Disk SLAM launch sale, Metriod, and Blasting Agent: Ultimate Edition
...don't hate me wallet..
Time to brace ourselves for disappointment with Federation Force.
All I'm buying is a mountain of popcorn for tomorrow's review comments...it's gonna be a bloodbath!
Nintendolife Reviewer: We likey! 8/10
Comments: You're wrong! This ain't Metroid!!! We've waited 6 years etc etc fire Reggie! Weak hardware! I'm allowed an opinion!
Looks likes a good price for the 3DS "Oddworld New 'n' Tasty". Does anyone have it? I see the Wii U review up but not the 3DS verison. If it is in 3D I just might snatch it up.
Shame to see no one mention Armikrog. I was just thinking whatever happened to that the other week,I assumed it was cancelled. There was a articles on here years ago about it and an interview with the dev who were also the creators of Earthworm Jim.Very curios to see how it's turned out.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the Virtual Console service for classic games? Why put readily available easy to find DS games on WiiU? More effort should be put into NES, Gameboy, GBC, Gamegear, TG16 and SNES (on older models soon I hope!) instead. As far as Federation Force, no.
I'll keep my money. Better luck next week, Nintendo.
Im looking forward to the federation force review tomorrow..... (I need to see how good or bad it will be)
So I guess I will be deciding which SNES VC or GBA VC game I will be purchasing this pay period. Need to decide between Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Mystical Ninja starring Goemon, or Yoshi's Island.
Armikrog is seriously and finally out?? Geeeeez...... that was long.
@Savino Embargo is over at midnight eastern time.
No Wild World or Pokemon Snap D:
i'll wait for a review for Metroid: FF before a final judge on getting it.
I'll be getting the retail version of federation force
Well, time to see how good Federation Force really is.
Being that I'm playing Monster Hunter Generations, Im already in the mood for 4 player co-op
I'll be picking up Federation Force. Odd that there's not a 3DS home theme to go with it.
Rip in pizza poll, butt NOTHING FOR MII THIS WEEK!...besides some sales, been lots of nice sales recently, and probably gonna upgrade my copy of Cave Story.
Really want to buy 3 2DS systems and some Federation Force... but not with the NX potentially being portable or having a portable component. Not enough time and already too many games. Also, I have no money at the moment.
I really would like to give a try as our family loves playing Metroid Blast together in Nintendo Land and as much as the characters look a bit goofy it's not as weird as Blast.
Oh for **** sake I finally caved and got Ziggurat for PS4 last week. I had been waiting for it to come out on Wii U and gave up.
****! Perfect game to play on the gamepad trying to get to sleep.
Swear words!
Aww, no more weekly poll?
Only thing I'm getting is Armikrog. which I backed on Kickstarter. Been waiting three years! And it's actually not out until next Tuesday.
Didn't know Armikrog was coming to Wii U, I wasn't gonna pick it up for (I think?) $25 on PC but for $9? hell yeah. Just unfortunate it won't be available until next week...
How many more Pokemon games are left to get out of the way so we can actually move on to other VC games?
Gee whiz, I backed Armikrog for HOW MUCH and now it's selling for $9?
The MH theme, Hunter's Journey, is great. I've been waiting forever for that to come to NA. I love the artwork and the animations when you scroll. I may get the other too with the bubble dragon.
What happened to Pokémon Snap!?
@Captain_Gonru Thanks for the heads up. That's sad. I guess it saves me some money
There was an article on this very same site saying that Pokémon Snap would be available for the NA eShop this week.
@Ralizah You've got to be kidding me. Some people are just never happy until they get the exact specific game they are personally waiting for...
come on reggie give us twerkbound 3!
@KeeperBvK Sorry I don't like the same games you do, random internet person.
With that said, I'm happy as a clam. I just picked up Soma, Layers of Fear, Final Fantasy V, and Dark Cloud 2 for under $30.
Jesus Christmas can we upload any virtual console games besides Pokemon?!?!? So sick of it now!!
@speedyboris thank you thank you very much!! Never liked Pokemon much and they're killing us with it!! At least throw Pokemon snap up there too and get it over with!! Here's an idea....How bout some more turbographx 16 games?? Unbelievable NOA is!!
