@Toastmaster We’re not in the same time as in 2006 or even 2017, nowadays every single piece of hardware leaks before being officially revealed, I’m not saying this is legit, but it very well might be.

This is looking like the biggest individual jump in performance for any Nintendo console jumping almost two generations, plus with Nvidia’s DLSS this console has the potential to dominate the market… again!

I fought until the last second for our Squid Sisters! As an OG player I just couldn’t not pick my OG girls.

Edit: WE WON!!! Even tho votes for present were 2:1 OG players were BEASTS, I had multiple matches were I scored 2000+ points plus won lots of 333x, 100x and 10x battles.
This was the most fun I’ve had in Splatfests with Splatoon 3 and FINALLY picked the winner team after being Team Callie and Team Order lol.

I still don’t know who to vote for, my heart says Squid Sisters as an OG player but I’m intrigued about the future route.

If BOTW and TOTK proved something is that Nintendo really doesn’t care to follow the timeline, as it all was publicity for Skyward Sword back at the time.

Wow I just realized MK8 is the most sold title in Nintendo’s history, just behind Wii Sports which doesn’t really count as it was bundled with every Wii.

It should be 256 GB, that’s reasonable but 128 GB would be the bare minimum acceptable and the most likely option.

Honestly I hope they go for the plain and simple ‘Switch 2’, the iPhone has shown that people need the simplest way to differentiate between the new model and the last and every time someone adds another monicker to the name people get confused and don’t know which is which.

I often sell every console and move on to the next one when there is backwards compatibility but I’m not doing that this time, I’m keeping my Zelda special edition until I draw my last breath on this earth.

Nah, I’ll play it on Xbox at 4K without paying more than the game I already owned since 2010.

I love it, it’s definitely the best Pikmin to date however my only problem with it is that there’s waaaaaay too much text that I often skip to get right to the gameplay and also load times are quite long even for a Switch game.

@eaglebob345 Nah don’t lie to yourself, you don’t get 100 star fragments, 1000 amber pieces, +50K rupees, and literally hundreds of every material by ‘just playing the game’.

Upgrading all the armors is an INSANE grind, even being able to dupe them with the fastest method it still took me at least 30 hours to upgrade everything, and I would’ve never done without the glitch as I still hadn’t upgraded my armors from BOTW in more than 6 years and TOTK requires way more resources.

@blindsquarel The same thing was said about Mario and it turned out pretty good.

I’m open to breaking the conventions, but a Zelda movie would have to be literally perfect to live up to the legacy of the games.

@CharlieGirl I’ll never understand this take, yes the system is less powerful than the PS4 but BOTW has given me waaaay more hours of fun than any PS4 or PS5 game ever has and I don’t doubt TOTK will do the same.

I respect your point in trying to make a statement of not spending $70 in a game, but citing the console’s being less powerful as the sole reason is just stupid imo.

I have preordered the digital version, collector's edition, Pro Controller, case, amiibo and already got the Zelda Switch OLED, so yeah I think I’m just a tiny bit excited for the game lol

This is the first time in my life that I can actually afford these, so I’m going all-in with the Switch OLED, Collector’s Edition, Pro Controller, Case and Amiibo.

Thank god, my Switch was causing earthquakes on a daily basis, it really needed more stability.

@Shepdawg1 Having seen the artbook leak, you don’t need to be concerned at all, this game will be entirely different from BOTW or any other Zelda game.

This is such a wasted opportunity to bring back the campaign from the first game which is stuck on a console no one had (except for me and 4 other people lol) I literally would’ve paid the full price of the DLC just for that.

Both are amazing games that deserve to sell this well.

I’ve seen everything and honestly there’s barely any spoilers there, it just shows how the game is massively different to Breath of the Wild, for anyone who was concerned about this being almost the same you just couldn’t be more wrong.

@ActionPanther They won’t, they’ll not reveal anything regarding the next-gen until it’s around the corner and will certainly be next year after the holidays (the strongest sales period) so that the announcement of a “Switch 2” doesn’t affect the sales of the current Switch.

Guys just use logic with this, why would Nintendo announce new hardware just before the Holidays (aka the strongest sales period) only to release it until next year?

They did it with the Wii U as no one was buying a Wii U anyway, but they certainly don’t want to happen with the Switch as sales remain strong.

@jump And this version in particular is the best as it runs better than it did on any console and motion aiming makes a HUGE difference in gameplay making it way more fun (at least for me).

3DS Rainbow Road is an absolute BANGER!
Probably my most favorite Rainbow Road of all time.

From the trailer it’s heavily implied that it’s tear from crying, listen to the moment when the name drops, it sound like a Sheikah tear dropping and even the animation sort of expands from the tear.

Also, I think this will be a very sad story for a Zelda game, it might even revolve around Zelda’s death.

No. There’s absolutely no reason to think about the Switch successor now when they can’t even fulfill the demand of the current Switch, sales are down because they literally can’t make enough of them not because there’s waning interest in the platform, specially now with so many games on the horizon including BOTW 2 and probably the next Mario.

The earliest I see a new Switch would be Early 2024.
