Re: Sonic Mania Release Date and Pricing Confirmed With Awesome Trailer

@retro_player_22 Playing safe by releasing similar games all over again will only take them so far :>

Besides, that was not the thing I was targeting. I mean in how instead of shutting down quality fangames (like AM2R), why can't instead work with something to appease everyone? (of course, it could be unannounced, but lets see. They know how to managed their IP? Well, what about Metroid? Surely Federation Force wasn't that great)

I don't know why nintendo decided to remove certain features from MK8(D) like the boost when you fall off track.
Feels too me that they're forcing all these changes to close the gap between skilled players and casual ones, which you can also see on almost all the new tracks for MK8 (which as pretty as they are, they are boring)

@Rei Super Circuit is great with the tracks, they are an improvement over the SMK ones and they don't feel that long. Plus SC had all the SMK tracks.

Not sure how rainbow road is the 1st one.
It was a disappointing.

I feel the only thing going for it is the part where you go into the space station thing. Other than that, just a generic, boring race track like 90% of the new courses in the game. (which is weird, because all the retro tracks have been updated wonderfully)

But for the other 3 positions, I agree. They provide something unique and are interesting enough to keep one engaged.

Re: Reggie Explains the Reasoning Behind the New 2DS XL

@dkxcalibur that's the thing.
It is bettr to make a normal 3DS game than an exclusive one becase the install base with the older model will always be bigger than the one with the new model.

This is to close that gap and to give a chance for new 3ds exclusive games to surface, and with better hardware, to increase it's lifespan while the switch takes over.

Re: Video: Super Bomberman R Update Sacrifices Resolution for a Tasty Framerate

Gridatttack

Can't wait to get this game when I pick up a switch!

And agreed, I rather have 60fps for tighter controls, especially when avoiding bomb blasts and maneuvering for escaping dire situations.

Also, for you complaining about not being able to handle 1080 resolution at 60fps, blame konami for using Unity (which I presume is cheaper than making the game from scratch specifically to the console).

I guess it's better than nothing

Re: Review: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Switch)

Gridatttack

Not sure really. I thought MK8 new tracks were really boring, like Ice Ice Outpost, coupled with the stiff/restrictive control, most of the new stages were boring (with the exception of a few and that most of the tracks look amazing)

I ended up playing more the retro courses because they were given a nice treatment and they keep the interesting course design.

But I guess I can give this another shot with the battle mode.

Re: Video: It Looks Like The Controversial Fire Hopping Trick Has Been Removed From Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

I would complain, but it's mario kart (so it can't be taken seriously competitive) but I don't see why people complained about that (get good instead of complaining :> ) It made it more risk/reward since you could go off track, like the video explains.

Besides, didn't the game ranked you with players who were on your level? it's not like in MKDS where you either snake or lose
