You can't own the Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Ver. Pack because pre-orders have sold out in Japan already, but just in case you were wondering what the packaging looks like, feast your eyes:
https://twitter.com/japanese3ds/status/870235481195368448
The pack includes the Switch console, a copy of Monster Hunter XX and a dock with a unique design based on the popular series.
Capcom stated at the time of the announcement that the Switch console would also have a special design, and you can see that in the image below:

Unfortunately, Capcom has already stated that it won't be creating any new Japanese stock of the bundle, and there's no word on whether or not the bundle will be coming to the west. Still, it's nice to look at.

I wonder if the box is on sale for $5.
Wow it's got a dragon on the back!
Very cool. I still think the Monster Hunter Wii classic controller is one of the coolest licensed variant controllers out there
That design on the back <3 beautiful. I'm not a fan of monster hunter solely because I prefer console experiences and have no friends who have the game. At home I like the idea of solo grinding and going to a friends house to work together over the harder challenges.
Not to say the game is bad (it really isn't according to my multiple hundred hours on ultimate) its just the handheld held it back in my opinion. Will try and return to the series with this new game and I hope it gets me into the series finally.
The Switch with the dragon tattoo.
LAME! it needs some colour, something to make it other than another shade of grey.
Posted this in the forums earlier but I missed the design on the back of the Switch itself.
I just want the game and the console. Idc about cosmetics.
@Spoony_Tech So...the back of the Switch itself has graphics on it. It's in the picture above.
Can't even preorder this from Playasia, complete sellout.
In this case, I'll just be happy to get the game. It is a little bland looking. If the joycons were special, then there'd be fighting words for sure. Haha. Still rocking my MH4U silver N3DSXL, which still wows people. I haven't met anybody else with one.
like the design. You think the joycons would have had something as well
Why Black color again ?
Black color Switch looks Boring....
@Anti-Matter Black's the best, I wouldn't buy any other color
On-topic: I like the design on the dock, not a big fun of design on the console itself. Hopefully they'll continue with making docks with more interesting colors/designs
Soon we'll see those docks on ebay for $500, wait and see.
Why does it say monster hunter XX in English on the back of the switch if it's japan only?
@mateq
For most (Especially adult male gamer) people Black is the best, But for me White is the Best. Add with Aquamarine color, my eyes will wildly staring at Beautiful color of White & Aquamarine color. My NDS Lite, Wii, New 3DS XL, Older 3DS XL (Pink outside, White inside) are White color, except my Wii U is Black (And it looks so boring and dull color...)
I'm obsessed with White (99 %) or Indigo (50 %) or Aquamarine (80 %) color for electronic devices.
Just the dock for the most part.
Meh.
If it had some Navy Blue Joycons then yes.
Though the back of the switch does looks nice with that design.
I do hope Nintendo really leverages custom/unique joycons this gen. Sorta like a build your own bundle type of thing.
I have the Monster Hunter New 3ds XL and would love this but I already bought 2 Nintendo Switches , I probably better not temp myself.
How much is the box?
@Anti-Matter I had white laptop once and brown marks would be left each time my palms sweat while typing/playing games (must be genetics, my palms sweat a lot, especially when gaming with other players ). Ever since I'm not buying white any devices.
Plus black seems more fitting for literally everyone. You can see a female kid playing on black console, but not really male teenager doing that on pink-ish/blue-ish one. Especially since Nintendo seems to target mostly teenagers and young adults with Switch, I suppose it makes sense to release mostly black colors.
But I can see why some people might like brighter colors more and I'm sure when Switch gets more popular different options will become available.
@Arehexes It was burned through in 25 minutes, I believe.
@dew12333 WYVERN on the back (Never mind how the series has misappropriated that to mean "any kind of monster" when it was used correctly to only describe two-legged dragons in the first one).
@mateq
I think Black color for electronic devices (Video games, PC, Monitor, Smartphones, etc) will Never impressed me.
I have different perception about some colors for electronic devices. Black for me it's Boring, Dull, Too mainstream, Insecure while White for me is Different, Rare, Limited edition, Glamour, Innocent, Pure. White also represent my games library that 95% Kiddies, 5% Teen. I did same thing with my DVD Movies boxes, replaced all Black DVD Boxes with Clear DVD Boxes. Anything but Black, except NDS & Gamecube boxes that I should accept no matter what.
Oh, if I have a chance, maybe when I have a lot of PS2 games, I will replace All my Japanese / USA PS2 game boxes from Black color become Blue color from European PS2 game box. I should order a lot of Blue PS2 empty box cases frfrom Ebay for replacement of Black PS2 game boxes.
@Anti-Matter haha, we are so different. I've just looked at my room and everything is black: laptop, monitor, Switch, lamp, bed sheet, almost all of my clothes, my cup, my coffee in it... and I like it that way
No point in getting multiple Switch consoles because there is no way to transfer your data...its one of the main reasons why I haven't gotten a ColorWare switch console.
Could be a good opportunity for specific designed additional dock sales if you aren't going to do the entire bundle.
This design looks sweet. If they were selling this in Europe, then I'd be very tempted to dive in and finally get a Switch.
Unless the person have OCD, a collector, or like to brag, a sticker decal of the design would be a nice money and effort saver; especially if they already own a Switch.
1 more limited edition, and the Switch will outnumber the Wii U on ,limited edition consoles. XD
@crimsontadpoles
The way Switch works now with region free, you can buy any region console and set it to your region, and set any language and play any games from any region.
I want to import from Japan but, this thing is too elusive for even the likes of me. We will never see this in stock on a retailer site like Amazon JP... those Japanese hunters are probably F5'ing the page as we speak
Wait, I thought this thing was region free.. doesn't that mean we can play Japanese games outside of Japan?
@CrazedCavalier
Yeah sorry just joking there. Trust me if it was skull kid or something I liked then I'd be drooling and my wife would be crying.
@dew12333 I was joking around as well (and nitpicking the series' terminology).
@JaxonH
Maybe you can try Playasia.com for hunting Monster Hunter XX Switch bundle.
@ya_boy_six
Nintendo Switch is Region FREE.
Yes, you can play Japanese Switch games on USA / PAL Switch and vice versa.
@Anti-Matter
I'll keep an eye out.
Would be a miracle to catch one though
