Nintendo has shown a little more of the upcoming Fire Emblem Warriors title on Nintendo Switch, with franchise favourite Marth taking centre stage and a little more of the storyline being explained.
The new trailer also shows off some other famous faces from the history of the series, all rendered using the in-game engine. As part of the Warriors franchise - which has previously covered the worlds of Gundam, Zelda and Fist of the North Star - Fire Emblem Warriors will focus on real-time action, massive combos and hordes of enemies to destroy.
Fire Emblem Warriors is expected to launch this Fall. Does this new footage make that wait even harder for you? Tell us with a comment.

I am a FE fanatic I'll definitely give it a try. I am looking forward to a proper FE on Switch though.
Marth's voice is way too manly in this.
Trailer was pretty meh, but I'll give the game a shot anyways. This'll be my first Dynasty Warriors game. Er, kind of.
Is there a date?
I'll take it. Looks good.
Hopefully we get more characters than just the ines from the 3DS games.
"Button mashing, brainless AI and a predictable story" :>
Jokes aside, I might give it a try, depending on what characters I can use.
What a way to kill the hype, marth, chrom and 3 guys from fates.
They could have changed two of those for ike and roy who people recognize anyway...
(I know they'll probably be in the game but still...)
@Nintendo_Ninja They already confirmed that wouldn't happen because there would be too many sword users.
Which looks pretty darn stupid with every single confirmed character being a swordie.
Also, the twins' VAs sucked.
Well the actions looks great so time to preorder ^^
represent other FE games please.
Hopefully Ike, Lyn, Leaf, Sigurd, Roy, and Eliwood made it at some point before the game's release. I don't want them to stick it too just Chrom, Marth, and the Fate crew.
The trailer did nothing for me since it didn't show any gameplay. Cinematic trailers always seem silly to me, especially for games which aren't heavily story-based. That said, I love Hyrule Warriors so as long as this is similar I'll definitely get this on Switch.
Excited for this, the warriors series looks like fun and I never got to play Hyrule Warriors. Maybe if I get a N3DS system... But this is a must
Just finished Fire Emblem Echoes and am currently playing through Awakening so I'm hyped to see anything Fire Emblem.
Marth speaking english, wut?
gameplay footage actually made me less hyped for this game. I may be a fire emblem n00b that started with 3DS, but it's a series with a good bit of history pre-2013, use it. Except Ike, hate that guy.
I hope this game have dual audio option, Fire Emblem suffers from bad localization and not all voice actors match the characters.
Its a shame they aren't using more of the franchise cast apart from Awakening, Shadow Dragon and Fates, but it still interests me enough to be day one. I always liked the idea of having the characters fight like this!
I do hope reviews don't slam this simply due to not having the characters they want. The roster doesn't mean the game is bad or good.
More gameplay would be nice, less cinematics.
I absolutely put heaps of hours into Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, the dlc added heaps of characters and content too, let's hope they do the same with this
I'm sure they will.
Fantastic gameplay...none!
Day one purchase maybe, too many games to chose from right now.
I played Hyrule Warriors to death and it's kind of put me off this game I'm afraid. Part of me wishes I hadn't spent so my time playing it but I just got hooked.
