@Jamie64326 that's not the point. If you make a "regular" game and someone says that it should have been better as a Visual Novel it means that's the gameplay it's garbage.
We really need a collection of all Guilty Gear to get on all of the Story. And also because it's cool to have all the version of the games, even if half of them are mostly the same game but with less characters.
Used to always play GGX at the Arcade. And played a bit of GG Isuka, GG DS (this one is always forgot by everyone) and Accent Core Plus.
@JR150 That's how I felt with Smash Brothers. If I'm playing this it's because I want Sonic characters. Happy you said Tikal too, because I always thought she had an amazing design, wished they used her more.
Just want to share with everyone how much I'm terrified at the idea of unlocking the AF Cup in F-Zero GX.
The CPU destroys me completely already on Expert and I can't reach 1st place in a single race. And you're telling me that beating the cups on Expert unlock MASTER that is even more difficult?
I wanted to settle the score with this game, as I could never beat it as a kid. But that is never happening isn'it?
I feel like the game is asking me to become as good as a top 1% competitive player. It's insane. Story Mode already became extremely hard on chapter 4 and I'm not even halfway through.
Not complaining btw, just saying how absolutely crazy hard this game is.
@solarwolf07 you can personalize what you can see and not see. There's even a spoiler mark in case you don't want to see certain things on the map. Personally I have activated only the miniboss on the Maps and the Koroks seed for example.
Used for the first time yesterday and it's honestly an amazing added value.
I can already see myself spending a good 100 more hours into the game just going around collecting all the stuff that I missed in my first 250hours.
Too bad some achievements are not retroactive and I have to get them all again. Don't know if I'm doing stuff like "Collecting 3000 materials" again, or stuff similar to that.
The best Mario Kart and it's not even debatable to me.
Being able to connect every tracks make it so that you can make so many custom Grand Prix that I never get bored. There's still so many road that I have yet to try.
4- great Gameplay improvement but boring characters.
5- Dropped After 10 hours out of boredom, too slow and boring characters.
Frontier- Dropped
Tides of Destiny - haven't played it.
@missingno_fgc I feel exactly the same about 3 and 4.
4 have better dungeons, gameplay and music, but the entire cast is sooooo much less appealing than 3.
@TheSaneInsanity not down, in fact the opposite.
With Ryza they realized that making the main characters more grown up and with bigger assets (both up and down) actually sell a boatload more of copies, so they the go that route.
I mean Atelier Yumia has obviously a bunch of extremely sexualize characters too, especially compared to the series before Ryza.
Why are people even buying the original release of Disgaea at this point. There's always a compelte edition about 2 years later.
@JohnnyMind if you plan on playing the series, don't worry about the people saying that they're 200 to 400 hours of content. As someone who played most of them only with the main Story (except for Disgaea 1 and 2), they're amazing games even without the optional stuff.
I would almost say that the post-game is extremely overrated, as it's just you grinding for 190 hours to get insane stats on everything and 10 hours of actual maps with optional Bosses.
Honestly happy to be able to play the original and not be forced with the remaster as I thought they would.
I actually prefer much more the original Triforce Hunt. Is where the game completely open ups and it really feels like you're a treasure hunter finding out clues everywhere as to where the pieces are. Never liked how it was made shorter and simplier on Wii U.
I can see why some people would see the lack of the faster sailing as a negative tough, despite personally loving sailing around the sea at a slower pace. It just has a great mood.
Btw I haven't played this since the Wii U release, so it's gonna be fun. 🙏
@Mgalens yeah a translated collection of the 4 Goemon for the SNES would be amazing. I already played them with the fantranslation, but I would buy it instantly.
@Mgalens I don't even know anymore about a Goemon Revival. At this point just port the old ones on NSO or something. I don't want to see it remake with a cheap graphical style.
Would you reccomend this to someone who loved 3 and 4, but dropped 5 after 10 hours? There's just something off about that game that I can't pinpoint that made me really bored while playing. Maybe being in 3D made everything slower to do, with more animations and bigger locations, I just felt like I was wasting to much time doing stuff that wasn't fun.
@RupeeClock it's disappointing, but honestly who asked for a remake of YL?
That seemed such a random announcement, and they're even putting far more time and resource in it than necessary. That should have been a quick project to re-release the original with nicer graphics and some improvements while they focus more on the sequel, but it's treated as their next big game.
While I love YL and have bought it on day one on both PC and Switch, it's no wonder that it's not doing well.
@FlyingDunsparce you forgot that most people probably have sold it, have it somehwere in the basement (and maybe it doesn't even work anymore), and also the sensor bar most likely lost or something. Oh and also they would have to buy the game from someone on ebay.
Like, compared to just boot the console you already have and having it in already.
Yeah While I love both Yooka-Laylee, they haven't released a new game in 4/5 years? I'm sure some people there don't need to work on a remake for that long.
To be honest. At this point I hope more for a Hunters remake than Prime 2-3.
I mean the latter are coming sooner or later anyway via the NSO. But a full remake of Hunters, with it's awesome multiplayer, would be the best thing ever. Maybe even make the multyplayer part of the game free to play, just to make people check it out and maybe make them want to buy the main games.
@JR150 as someone who played through the entire series twice (except KH III). We probably share the same knowledge about what happen in the story of the series.
@Lizuka Gosh I'm playing through a Romhack of Pokémon completely remade from scratch to be set in the world of Mario, and there's an entire chapter where you go to the city of the Wario Ware Games and you battle Wario's Crew. I never realized how cool of and idea that was.
Honestly made me chuckle a bit. Loved the kart on the kart.
@slowpoke_tail Yeah in the GameCube and DS era it really looked like they wanted to make E.Gadd part of the main cast, from Mario Party 6, Mario and Luigi Partner's in Time ecc... but he got sidelined after they went with the whole "Mario doesn't need any new characters" thing in the Wii U era.
Hoping this will bring the series back to the quality of Pirate Curse. I really feel like the last two were really lacking on everything except graphic.
@JohnnyMind the amount of fun I'm getting with that game is incredibil, honestly. Is sad that it has such a bad rep around here, because it's really good.
@Yoshi3 Even my friends keep making up conspiracy and theory on how the system works.
But it's 100% luck. It's just extremely random in every way possibile, I had times with 3 extremely rare cards in two days, and 2 weeks with nothing. All in every moment, with just released packs and in the third/fourth week.
@N00BiSH I'll probably regret saying this. But I really think they're getting ready for a new game.
F-Zero is definitely getting some kind of attention. They already added the entire GBA Trilogy to the NSO, despite there being dozen and dozens of other Nintendo games. The Gamecube get GX on day One. SNES F-Zero was day one as well if I'm not mistaken. And F-Zero 99 get a lot more updates and content than anyone could have ever imagined.
I feel like this is a DK situation were they keep making side content and keeping him relevant until they're ready to reveal a new big game. Nintendo is so slow with this stuff.
So odd to see so many people already tired of the BotW/TotK formula. The fanbase asked for a new direction after 30 years of the older Zelda games, but now only two games were enough to people to be fed up.
I guess they're not as good as people make them out to be.

@gwyntendo check the achievements descriptions. Some carry over from ver.1.0. Other achievements are activated from the last update onward.

Nope. That must been one of the most boring thing to do in a MK.
Re: Another Atelier Game Is Coming To Switch This September, Here's A "First Look"
@Samalik i'm sorry, but if you can't clearly see the change in characters design from Ryza onward I don't know what to say.
Before people say that I don't know the series well. I've been playing it since Atelier Iris 3 on PS2 and Mana Khemia 1/2.
Of course not every single entry, but I did play like 7 of them (and have bought all the Trilogy for PS3 so I know at the very least the characters).
Re: Another Atelier Game Is Coming To Switch This September, Here's A "First Look"

Nobody is going to buy this. It looks likes a generic e-shop garbage game made with AI.
This stylistic decision is so absurd, especially because the anime style the originals had get more and more popular every year.
Just slap a bunch of cute anime girls and you already made 1000% more sales than this ever will on that alone.
