Re: Legendary Fighting Dev Is Hosting Its Own 'Direct' Later This Week

GoldenSunRM

We really need a collection of all Guilty Gear to get on all of the Story.
And also because it's cool to have all the version of the games, even if half of them are mostly the same game but with less characters.

Used to always play GGX at the Arcade. And played a bit of GG Isuka, GG DS (this one is always forgot by everyone) and Accent Core Plus.

Re: Opinion: I Never Felt True Nostalgia Until I Played GameCube On Switch 2

GoldenSunRM

Just want to share with everyone how much I'm terrified at the idea of unlocking the AF Cup in F-Zero GX.

The CPU destroys me completely already on Expert and I can't reach 1st place in a single race. And you're telling me that beating the cups on Expert unlock MASTER that is even more difficult?

I wanted to settle the score with this game, as I could never beat it as a kid. But that is never happening isn'it?

I feel like the game is asking me to become as good as a top 1% competitive player. It's insane.
Story Mode already became extremely hard on chapter 4 and I'm not even halfway through.

Not complaining btw, just saying how absolutely crazy hard this game is.

Re: Poll: So, Have You Used Zelda Notes Yet?

GoldenSunRM

@solarwolf07 you can personalize what you can see and not see. There's even a spoiler mark in case you don't want to see certain things on the map.
Personally I have activated only the miniboss on the Maps and the Koroks seed for example.

Re: Poll: So, Have You Used Zelda Notes Yet?

GoldenSunRM

Used for the first time yesterday and it's honestly an amazing added value.
I can already see myself spending a good 100 more hours into the game just going around collecting all the stuff that I missed in my first 250hours.

Too bad some achievements are not retroactive and I have to get them all again. Don't know if I'm doing stuff like "Collecting 3000 materials" again, or stuff similar to that.

Re: Best Rune Factory Games Of All Time

GoldenSunRM

1- Really boring game.

2- Not played.

3- Perfect.

4- great Gameplay improvement but boring characters.

5- Dropped After 10 hours out of boredom, too slow and boring characters.

Frontier- Dropped

Tides of Destiny - haven't played it.

@missingno_fgc I feel exactly the same about 3 and 4.
4 have better dungeons, gameplay and music, but the entire cast is sooooo much less appealing than 3.

Re: Another Atelier Game Is Coming To Switch This September, Here's A "First Look"

GoldenSunRM

@Samalik i'm sorry, but if you can't clearly see the change in characters design from Ryza onward I don't know what to say.

Before people say that I don't know the series well. I've been playing it since Atelier Iris 3 on PS2 and Mana Khemia 1/2.

Of course not every single entry, but I did play like 7 of them (and have bought all the Trilogy for PS3 so I know at the very least the characters).

Re: Disgaea 7 Complete Is Launching Exclusively On Switch 2 In The West

GoldenSunRM

Why are people even buying the original release of Disgaea at this point. There's always a compelte edition about 2 years later.

@JohnnyMind if you plan on playing the series, don't worry about the people saying that they're 200 to 400 hours of content. As someone who played most of them only with the main Story (except for Disgaea 1 and 2), they're amazing games even without the optional stuff.

I would almost say that the post-game is extremely overrated, as it's just you grinding for 190 hours to get insane stats on everything and 10 hours of actual maps with optional Bosses.

Re: Review: The Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GameCube) - A Timeless Treasure

GoldenSunRM

Honestly happy to be able to play the original and not be forced with the remaster as I thought they would.

I actually prefer much more the original Triforce Hunt. Is where the game completely open ups and it really feels like you're a treasure hunter finding out clues everywhere as to where the pieces are. Never liked how it was made shorter and simplier on Wii U.

I can see why some people would see the lack of the faster sailing as a negative tough, despite personally loving sailing around the sea at a slower pace. It just has a great mood.

Btw I haven't played this since the Wii U release, so it's gonna be fun. 🙏

Re: Yooka-Laylee Dev Playtonic Is The Latest Studio Hit By Layoffs

GoldenSunRM

@RupeeClock it's disappointing, but honestly who asked for a remake of YL?

That seemed such a random announcement, and they're even putting far more time and resource in it than necessary. That should have been a quick project to re-release the original with nicer graphics and some improvements while they focus more on the sequel, but it's treated as their next big game.

While I love YL and have bought it on day one on both PC and Switch, it's no wonder that it's not doing well.

Re: Nintendo Renews A Couple Of Metroid Prime Trademarks

GoldenSunRM

To be honest. At this point I hope more for a Hunters remake than Prime 2-3.

I mean the latter are coming sooner or later anyway via the NSO.
But a full remake of Hunters, with it's awesome multiplayer, would be the best thing ever. Maybe even make the multyplayer part of the game free to play, just to make people check it out and maybe make them want to buy the main games.

Re: F-Zero 99 Has Been Updated To Version 1.6.0, Here's What You Can Expect

GoldenSunRM

@N00BiSH I'll probably regret saying this. But I really think they're getting ready for a new game.

F-Zero is definitely getting some kind of attention.
They already added the entire GBA Trilogy to the NSO, despite there being dozen and dozens of other Nintendo games.
The Gamecube get GX on day One.
SNES F-Zero was day one as well if I'm not mistaken.
And F-Zero 99 get a lot more updates and content than anyone could have ever imagined.

I feel like this is a DK situation were they keep making side content and keeping him relevant until they're ready to reveal a new big game.
Nintendo is so slow with this stuff.
