Re: Best Kirby Games Of All Time

GoldenSunRM

I played all the mainline Kirby games (except the one with Kirby being a ball where you have to draw the platforms, but I don't know if it's Main game), and to me Planet Robobot absolutely destroys any other Kirby and it's not even a competition, I'm talking about utter annihilation.

It's soo good by any metric while the rest of the series goes from mediocre to simply "Good", in my humble opinion.

Re: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds New Free Characters Update, Coming Soon

GoldenSunRM

Wait, all these characters are free? Or only some of them? Because if that the case I could change my mind once it becomes cheaper.
Buying this if they announce a lot of cool niche Sonic characters (and they're not DLC but free).
And Tikal.

Could't care less about any other Sega series or special guests from random cartoons.

Re: Poll: So, Will You Be Getting Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment?

GoldenSunRM

Genuinely thinks people sleeps too much on this games.

Hyrule Warriors got more than 300hours out of me, and Age of Calamity had a fantastic Battle system that made it really fun and the soundtrack was one of the best I've ever heard. Honestly both BotW and TotK could have learned a lot from that game for the Battles and the music.

I can't wait for this one. Hoping that this time they won't screw the story.

Re: Fire Emblem Shadows Gets A Free Update Adding New Story, Map And More

GoldenSunRM

@Munchlax Fire Emblem 1 on the NES literally had a 1000+ years old loli dragon/Human.

This series as been anime cringe since day one.

Anyway IMHO 3Houses had a bit too much focus on the whole "School" system and definitely waste too much time with trivial stuff like the random Maps with bad level design and with useless Quests; Engage cut a lot of that useless frills and the gameplay is probably the more complex in the series.

Re: Yooka-Replaylee Physical Confirmed For December, Includes Extra Goodies

GoldenSunRM

@JohnnyMind that's good. If I can have it for even cheaper I certanly wouldn't mind. I thought that price was already taking into consideration the discount; I have it in my wishlist and it's 29.99 to me tough, not that 1€ change anything (also in Italy btw).

I honestly started caring a lot less about buying phisical in the last couple of years anyway.

Re: Review: Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution (Switch) - A Cool Time Capsule Of A Game

GoldenSunRM

@fenlix i know this comment is a month old. But I really wanted to share this.

I've been pretty much been buying every new Shantae game in the hope that it will reach Pirate Curse quality. But so far they really are simply "nice games" and nothing more, sometimes even almost mediocre imho (Seven Pirate wasn't anything special to be honest).

Luckily the charm of the world and characters still keeps me coming back, but it's always a bummer to never see that level of quality again.

Re: Opinion: Why Focus On Silksong's Difficulty When We Need To Talk About How Cute It is?

GoldenSunRM

@SpaceboyScreams yeah I think so too. Many people get stuck without ever trying to change playstyle and obviously get stuck banging the wall with their head until somehow they win, thinking that the game is "unfair" so they don't take in consideration that maybe it's their approach to the Boss that it's wrong.

Silksong is definitely not that kind of game. It has so many different ways to approach Bosses that's it's insane. You can basically have any playstyle in existence.

Re: Opinion: Why Focus On Silksong's Difficulty When We Need To Talk About How Cute It is?

GoldenSunRM

@theberrage While I understand your frustration, I think the problem is at the base of your thinking

"The reward" is the enjoiyment you get out of perfecting the game mechanics, learning the Boss and having an awesome fight that it's perfectly balanced to keep you on your toes constantly but at the same time being perfectly doable if you put the effort to learn the pattern.

Re: Poll: Box Art Brawl - Duel: Yoshi Touch & Go

GoldenSunRM

People complaining about the pricing of current Nintendo, but they forget stuff like a tech demo sold for 40€ over 20 years ago.

With that said, I still enjoyed it as a kid. The novelty of the touch and double screen at the time made me play this far more than I should have and I got hooked into doing better high scores in the minigames.

(Also I voted Europe)
