@GravyThief Hope you have a good time with it. I had a blast in the 15 hours it took me to do it almost 100% (could't find a Jiggy).
The starting area is the most untouched, but the more you go into the game the more it changes. The amount of easter eggs, funny dialogues, cameo from other Nintendo games, smart and fun gameplay ideas, reference and music is just so perfect for me. There was not a single moment of boredom; it has an insane amount of secrets and some puzzles actually got me to take out pen and paper to write down stuff.
It's probably looks like I'm exaggerating, but I would honestly give to this guy a lead role in a hypothetical Banjo-Threeie if I could.
Banjo-Kazooie Jiggies of Time was a masterpiece, and I'm not exaggerating, he really nailed the original gameplay, and the whole world of OOT was so drastically modified than it felt almost like a completely new map. Looking forward to this one as well.
Glad they did. As Brothership was a blast except for the rather slow intro. My favourite in the series just below Super Star Saga.
Finally almost no strange gimmicks, no extreme linearity that made the world of the last Mario & Luigi feel like glorified corridors, and actual original characters with development and personality.
Please stop this whole "it got criticism because the reviewer was a woman".
99% of people don't even look at who is the author of a review, and even if they did, that would have been not the reason. It's really bad when someone gaslight himself into thinking that half the world is made of misogynistic people, and it also throw in the garbage any chance of having an actual discourse over a certain topic.
Btw the criticism of "too much water" always was and always will be bad, because it give for granted that you are supposed to automatically dislike that, but there's other people, like me, who actually appreciate it.
Also, the locations on ground were already enough so that the region was as big as any other region in the series, it's not like the presence of the sea made the region fell smaller.
If the problem were the random encounters, just buy a bunch of repellents.
@Serpenterror sort of. The level design is still different, so it's still a different game with different levels, even if it reuses soundtrack, map and enviroments.
@Elbow Yooka-Laylee 2 has been in development for about 2/3 years now. The music is probably already done I think. Tough I'm not really an expert on how this stuff work.
@Erigen came here to say exactly that. It's even probably why Star Fox Zero was a flop in the first place. I'm not going to spend 60€ for the fifth version of StarFox.
It's honestly wild to complain about the monetization, considering that in real life I should spend 7+€ for every pack I open up, while here I have 2 of them for free every day.
@N00BiSH I'll be honest. It's so strange to see so many people talking about how he still need to nail the voice properly, because I honestly can't tell the difference.
@GameName they definitely changed a lot over the years. Ys Origin to 6 are pretty much hack and slash, from 7 onward they became 100% action JRPG with builds, skill, team managing etc...
I personally loved both styles, but I can see how someone would not dig the new direction.
Man F-Zero is a series that I love but I can't for the life of me become good at it.
I was never able to win a single race at Hard in F-Zero X. Never beat story mode in F-Zero GX, and never got far with Maximum Velocity. Never hit first place on F-Zero 99 either.
@PikaPhantom Something I notice when playing the game is that the performance issues get more and more bad the more time you play without never turning it off. If you do it from time to time it gets a lot better.
@Archius9 yeah I wish they would stop completely replacing the boards (and minigames and roster) in each game. Just keep building up on each other and reach a ridiculously amount of boards/characters/minigames; in the style of Smash Brothers.
I play regularly with my nephew, and having to jump to 10 different games every time it's really boring.
@mlt my God thanks for saying that. I was so surprised to see almost nobody ever talking about it.
That games would have been ground breaking if it wasn't an absolute joke. I played the entire game without ever getting any power up (collectibles aside) other than the base mushroom and it was still a joke.
I would replay it instantly if they added an harder mode. Such a wasted opportunity. It felt like I was playing on auto mode.
@Yosher It would be nice if people were like this, but I really have never seen a racist change his mind because of a punishment. If anything they get even more racist. Or in the best case scenario they just keep themselves from saying anything in public.
I love Xillia. Gotta buy this day one if it happens. I completed it 100% but never got around to play the story a second time with the female protagonist.
I would absolutely love to enjoying it again so many years later.

Re: Best Of 2024: Why Play Final Fantasy VII Remake When You Could Play FFVII 'Demake'?
Almost nobody has ever heard about it. But this remind me that there is a chinese bootleg of Golden Sun as well.
Anyway playing these one day would be interesting for sure.
Re: 'Ys vs. Trails In The Sky: Alternative Saga' Announced For Switch, Coming 2025
Played this a ton on PSP. Glad it will get revived.

Re: 'Nintendo Music' Adds A Huge Zelda Soundtrack, Here's Every Song Included
So many underrated tracks from this OST. Lanayru Sand Sea is amazing.

Re: New Switch Anime Fighter Due Out In 2025 "Refused Classification" Down Under
Oh yes. Strangers knows what it's best for you to enjoy. 🙏
I wish to express my gratitude, who knows what I might have seen without them.
Re: Nintendo Considered Giving Up On 'Mario & Luigi' Before Approaching Acquire
Glad they did. As Brothership was a blast except for the rather slow intro.
My favourite in the series just below Super Star Saga.

Re: Pokémon TCG Pocket Trainer Drops $1,500 To Collect Every Single Card
I'll be honest, 1500 is not even that much to get every card. The guy must have been really lucky with his packs.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's Game Boy Library With Another Classic
Wish more people realized this is a 100% different game than DKC.
I love DCL and I can't wait to replay It.

Re: Review: Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (Mobile) - A Breezy, Beautiful Take On TCG, Gacha Aside
@NielsNL in Italy it's available, so it's probably a regional thing.

Re: Exclusive: Croc Remaster Gets A Release Window And A Swanky Collector's Edition
Man 29,99€ for a PS1 game with some tweaking it's certanly a bit too much for me.
I'll probably wait for a sale.
Re: Video: Yooka-Replaylee Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison (Original & Remaster)
@The_Trooper49 Switch version was actually known to be and excellent port remade from scratch.
Of course the lighting and some texture were worse, but the final result was really good.
Btw I agree with you on the pause when hitting an enemy, It's so janky looking.
Re: Video: Yooka-Replaylee Side-By-Side Graphics Comparison (Original & Remaster)
Can we have the new content in the older versione? Because the graphic looks 100% worse.
Re: Review: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed (Switch) - Pleasingly Ambitious But Bloated
@AlienX maybe it's just me, but every new TMNT show has a look more childish than the one before.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Super Mario Party Jamboree?
@Lizuka Modern Mario Party really lack that sense of danger of the GameCube and N64 Games.
There's just too many way to win things and not enough to lose them. Even if you have fun it feels kind of bland.
Re: Video: Super Mario Party Jamboree - Every Minigame Included
Why even remove minigames when the engine is the same and you could just port them over to the new game and have more content with no effort?
Sometimes Nintendo's action are so odds.
Re: Random: Mario's New Voice Actor Says It's "Surreal" To Hear His Voice In Mario Party
@batmanbud2 I can't talk about that as I didn't saw the film in english.
Re: Random: Mario's New Voice Actor Says It's "Surreal" To Hear His Voice In Mario Party
@N00BiSH I'll be honest. It's so strange to see so many people talking about how he still need to nail the voice properly, because I honestly can't tell the difference.
Re: Review: Super Mario Party Jamboree (Switch) - Only The Best Game In The Series
That's really good to hear.
Now let's just hope they don't go back to a 10 characters roster and 4 Boards in the next installments.
They should go the Smash Bros route and just become bigger and bigger by building up on the previous game content.
Re: Review: Ys X: Nordics (Switch) - Another Great Entry, Though We're Not Sold On The Sailing
@Astropez I feel 8 had a good balance after the First 5-6 hours. But yes, Ys 9 took so long to take off it's ridiculous.
Re: Review: Ys X: Nordics (Switch) - Another Great Entry, Though We're Not Sold On The Sailing

Man F-Zero is a series that I love but I can't for the life of me become good at it.

Re: No, Tomonobu Itagaki's Game Studio Hasn't Shut Down, It's Just Had A Name Change
I'm probably one of the few people who had a blast with Devil's Third.
It would be cool to have a switch Port.
Re: Bakeru Switch Physical Release Announced, Out February 2025
@PikaPhantom Something I notice when playing the game is that the performance issues get more and more bad the more time you play without never turning it off.
If you do it from time to time it gets a lot better.
Re: Bakeru Switch Physical Release Announced, Out February 2025
This is so bad tough. There's no way they didn't already have this planned when they announced the digital version.
But they wanted idiot like me to double dip.
Re: Random: Fans Discover A Hidden Credits Screen In Zelda: Majora's Mask
@RupeeClock oh I just checked online and you're actually right. It just talk about the sounds issues, my bad.
Re: Random: Fans Discover A Hidden Credits Screen In Zelda: Majora's Mask
@Jack_Goetz Was about to say that.
Majora was emulated so badly that they literally made a disclaimer when you opened the game saying that it could freeze and there was audio problems.
Re: Video: Here's Absolutely Everything You Need To Know About Super Mario Party Jamboree
I have a lot of hope for this. It really feels like we are finally back to having A LOT of content like the N64 and GameCube Mario Party.
Re: Random: Zelda Fan Project Turns 'A Link To The Past' Into Roguelike Dungeon Crawler
@HatesCheese oh I totally missed that.
Yeah I Guess that's kinda out of place by modern Zelda standard.
Re: Random: Zelda Fan Project Turns 'A Link To The Past' Into Roguelike Dungeon Crawler
@Cronodoug I think you're talking about the third Sword upgrade, wich has a red blade. It's not blood.
Re: Lon Lon Ranch Potentially Spotted In New Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Footage
Ok, I understand that Nintendolife got to make news to generate traffic, so I guess I'm staying off this site until I beat the game.
Re: Mini Review: Momodora: Reverie Under The Moonlight (Switch) - Another Marvellous Metroidvania
It's sad to see so few comments here. This game is a real gem. Beat 4 times already.
Re: Yooka-Replaylee Art Team Highlight Laylee's New Fluffiness In Remaster
Honestly I prefer them not fluffy. It make them lean too much into the realistic style.
Re: Nintendo Highlights Super Mario Party Jamboree's Five New Boards In Fresh Footage
Re: Atelier Yumia Release Date Announced, And The First Gameplay Trailer Is Beautiful
Took them long enough to realize that more grown women sell more copies than loli.
Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Reportedly Offers 'Normal' and 'Hero' Difficulty From The Get-Go
@mlt my God thanks for saying that. I was so surprised to see almost nobody ever talking about it.

Re: A Bunch Of Classic Mario Party Minigames Are Seemingly Returning In Jamboree
Man, why don't they also keep the board from Superstars? They could just add and add without completely replacing them.
Anyway this Mario Party looks Amazing, can't wait.
Re: Review: Bakeru (Switch) - Good-Feel's Carefree Platformer For Goemon Lovers Makes It To The West
I would usually wait for a phisical. But for a game made just like Goemon, and from the same creator, I want to support it as much as I can.
Re: Poll: Tomba! Special Edition Is Out, But Have You Been Able To Play The Thing On Switch?
@Uncle_Franklin I think I know wich cave you're talking about. It's the one behind the waterfall? It always crashes there for me as well.
Fortunately it's just a shortcut for another location so it will not hinder progress. But still annoying.
Re: Good-Feel's Goemon-Inspired Switch Game 'Bakeru' Is Getting Localised
Gosh, day one for me. This is such a good news.
Re: Soapbox: 20 Years After His Last Mainline Appearance, Tingle Deserves A Comeback
@Yoshi3 One of the most absurd choices for me in Botw and Totk was not having iconic characters like Malone, Talon, Ingo, the Windmill guy etc...
I was certain that with a massive open world they would have put as many recognizable characters as possible...
Re: AI Generator Scraped YouTube Videos Without Permission, Including Nintendo's

Re: Nintendo Strips Team Jackpot Of Splatoon 3 World Championship Win
@Hck Yes, I agree with you. They're behavior is unacceptable, but it has nothing to do with their skill in the game.
They won and they should get the prize. I would have understood if they had been disqualified from any future event
Re: Rumour: 'Tales Of Xillia Remastered' Switch Release Spotted Online
