Re: F-Zero 99 Has Been Updated To Version 1.6.0, Here's What You Can Expect

GoldenSunRM

@N00BiSH I'll probably regret saying this. But I really think they're getting ready for a new game.

F-Zero is definitely getting some kind of attention.
They already added the entire GBA Trilogy to the NSO, despite there being dozen and dozens of other Nintendo games.
The Gamecube get GX on day One.
SNES F-Zero was day one as well if I'm not mistaken.
And F-Zero 99 get a lot more updates and content than anyone could have ever imagined.

I feel like this is a DK situation were they keep making side content and keeping him relevant until they're ready to reveal a new big game.
Nintendo is so slow with this stuff.

Re: Nintendo: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment Is A "Canonical Tale"

GoldenSunRM

@Olmectron it doesn't. In fact it's actually make everything more believable, as it could have explained how everyone already knew that Calamity Ganon was imminent.

They knew because the robot traveled back in time and showed them the incoming catastrophe.

But in any case, that it's a non issue. It was announced and marketed as the game that explained in more depth the backstory of BotW, and it wasn't. It was quite literally another story.

Re: Talking Point: Zelda: Wind Waker Is On Switch 2 - Do You Still Want A WW:HD Port?

GoldenSunRM

@Uncle_Franklin yeah that for sure. As I said, that would be awesome and my personal dream to have a bigger remake.
I'm just saying that it wouldn't be the "original intended Wind Waker", because they would have to come up with different ideas than those who they had originally (for example, the cut vulcanic Island with a steam based Village and pipes everywhere was probably repurposed into the Death Mountain of Twilight Princess).

Re: Hyrule Warriors: Age Of Imprisonment Confirmed For Nintendo Switch 2

GoldenSunRM

@ThatZeldaNerd gosh Age of Calamity was a disaster in that regard.

Aside from the whole "Time travel to save everyone", even the characters backstory didn't match at all and some characters were already alive and old with no explanation whatsoever.

The biggest example being Link itself. In BotW is said that it was known that he was the chosen since he was 4 years old and his father was and Hyrule general, but in AoC he is already an adult and nobody knows him (wich doesn't even explain how Mipha got to know him, since they encountered each other only because Link was known to be the chosen), he is just a random soldier.

I hate to be a nerd about it, but when the entire premise of your game is to be a prequel that explain more the past, I don't expect the game to be a completely alternative version where everything is different.

Re: Mario + Rabbids Director Recalls "Harsh" Ubisoft Comment On 'Sparks Of Hope'

GoldenSunRM

@user0 I would not consider it rubbish, but pretty much everything was worse except the soundtrack.

No Rank in Battles (the best part for me was getting 3 stars on every fight)
No Friendly Fire, wich makes every Boss a joke, as you can unleash all the most powerfull attacks without any logic or good positioning.
Generic Battles with useless monster just to pad out the play time.
Levelling up and generic QUEST RPG style that had nothing to do with the strategy of the battles.
Sooo unbearably Easy.
Why does every character have one less skill than the first one? (I missed Luigi's second ability)

And on and on...

They really should have sticked with the Arcade style of the original, instead of turning it into an RPG.
