I love miiverse. It's clunky and odd, but that only makes it more endearing somehow. Having said that, it's time has been and gone. I'll miss it, but I think it's right to turn it off now.

When he said the game would never appear on a Nintendo console, wasn't he referring to Mortal Kombat? Which was then released on the SNES the next year.

I might go for Earthbound on 3DS. I've never played it before and the SNES classic is still two months away.

The NES version was a bit poop. I flicked through it once, never touched it again. Then I got another copy as a gift. It was a struggle to feign gratitude for that one, let me tell you.

This is, without doubt, the best thing to come out of E3 for me. Hopefully, this'll sell well and encourage Nintendo to make a proper Metroid 5 and carry the narrative beyond Fusion.

You can't blame CEX for selling things at market value. This whole situation is Nintendos doing. What ever the real reason is for the supply problems and discontinuation, Nintendo is the reason the things sell for so much. They dropped the ball big time.

I can imagine the fact that it has been hacked to bits might have something to do with it. Even I couldn't resist hacking it with an extra 40 or so games, and that's not something I'd normally do. It wouldn't suprise me if they come out with a version 2 for the holidays with all those exploits removed.

Still, this totally sucks for the folks that haven't been able to get one. Nintendo sure did mess this one up.

I think this game is only similar to the SNES game in terms of visuals. It plays and controls much more like the N64 version than anything else. Also, this is my favourite Mario kart by a country mile, partly because it's so damned hard. I've pumped sooooo many hours into this game.

Beware pre orders with iam8bit. They take forever, always being delayed. Good job their vinyl pressings are actually really good quality

@3MonthBeef just can't do the handheld mode. Don't like the joy-cons at all. Got them out of the box, felt the analogue sticks and immeadiately thought "I'm buying a pro controller".

I'm a bit disappointed with the hardware to be honest. But I'm far too busy enjoying Zelda to care.

Not sure I like this. I'll wait and see what the expansion contains before I buy it though. If it's anything like MK8 DLC, it'll be worth every penny. I just hope that's what it turns out like.

First of all, there's no way in holy flaps this is true. Second of all, I'm loving my NES Mini which I got three days before launch because I pre-ordered it straight from Nintendo themselves. All aboard the NES Mini train, woo wooooooo!

I bought this on the eShop, then again when it was release on disc... I'm afraid I might end up triple dipping on this one. Probably worth it though, it's a great game! Hope it's getting a physical release on Switch.

I'd much, much rather have streetpass or a similar thing than Miiverse.

Never been into Fire Emblem, but this looks more like and RPG with some tactical elements rather than a full on tactical RPG. Colour me interested.
